Monday Moments

Here we go, on Monday, the day my Mac hopefully returns to life, or I wind up getting a new computer. In a little while, I will download Mac OS X Lion. Darren will be here in the afternoon and we shall see what's next. Had another wild dream this morning waking up at 3:45 (sequence). I was shown a sign: WE ARE BEING PREPARED. It was in all CAPS. There were others around as I read it. More later, if Mac is back. Lots of good stories on Ezine today as well as the birthdays and quotes.

Sunday Memos

My Mac Pro seems to be performing better today, if that's possible. Disc Utility showed no signs of trouble this morning, so perhaps Darren is right - all it needs is a power management cycling and OS Lion. Can't wait till he gets here tomorrow. The reason I didn't purchase OS Lion last fall was because no one seemed to like it and told me to wait for OS X Mountain Lion this summer, but I guess I have to update now -> then again in the summer. I like to throw out the Old and buy New, but Darren says my Mac is fine as he works it through Mobile Me, a product that goes the way of the dinosaur next month as we move to the iCloud. Is Ellie keeping up? I try.

If this wasn't 2012, I definitely would have bought a new Mac Pro last fall and given this one to my grandsons, but for now, if Darren gets it up and running well, I'll be happy. It's a really fast machine with a turbo modem -- and we just harmonize well when we work together. Mac runs Time Machine and an external hard drive called My Passport - purchased in 2011 - which George set up. I think if this had happened in the past I might have panicked, but for some reason there is a calmness, as if the work I came here to do is in place and my "behind the scenes" clean-up and file integrations -- and daily updates -- are all that remain. Something major is going to change for me soon. I can feel it, and it's not a bad thing. It's kind of exciting.

Would you believe ... my problems all started on Friday when I began my review of the Healing files. Maybe that's why Mac got so upset - it hates dealing with issues as much as I do and rebelled. Not to worry Mac, those files will be completed today.

My only concern on Saturday about not having use of my computer, was about my clients as I am reading many people overseas and they send their photos in email, which I needed to access and print. There was no problems with any of that. Today I read clients from Canada and the UK. Again, I find it interesting that clients everywhere are having End Time Dreams, even if they don't understand the hologram.

One of the crime solving TV shows I did in the recent past has aired again - so I am getting a mix of calls from law enforcement officers as well as desperate people, all of whom I talk to on the phone, but am not taking on as clients.

Alimony and child support are another major concern for clients now with shifts in the economy. Some women are not receiving payment while others are completely out of control about the amount of money they should get each month, and then we have the men who just want to 'stick it to' their ex wives. Many women are skipping alimony as that goes away if they remarry and asking for unbelievable amounts of child support which they live off of. Divorce is a bitch!

Speaking of money ... I didn't blog about the Student Loan Crisis that has been in the news and is very serious. It's a Catch 22 meaning ... you can't get a good job without college but the cost of college is not affordable to most families, especially in single parent homes. And so begins the student loan saga that could take decades after gradation to pay off. Many students want to get away from home for college - to grow up and to party - but sometimes it's best to stay at home and pay much less for a local college. But ... if you want to get into Grad School - you need to go to a good college which takes most students back to loans ad debts. Actually this is not new, but today it's being talked about because the jobs students need to pay off their debts, no longer exist in many cases. From what I hear, bankruptcy does not include student loans - they still have to be paid. It's not easy being young ... never was.

I'm reposting the banner and link from a new Crystalinks advertiser for those who want to download a free astral projection guide, just for fun on a Sunday afternoon. You can also find it on the astral projection page. I never had much luck with astral projection, but find remote viewing a piece of cake.

Computer Problems :(

My 6 1/2 year old Mac is struggling for survival. Though I am ready for a new computer, my friend Darren, who works with Mac's and builds them, plans to come over on Monday and fix it. Darren writes: "It just needs a power management cycling and OS Lion." I archived everything for now, just in case, and yes I have an external hard drive with everything backed up. Crystalinks is backed up at the server end also. A girl can't be too careful.

The Sounds of Stonehenge

Stonehenge's eerie sounds revived   MSNBC - April 27, 2012
British researchers conducted experiments at a fake Stonehenge as well as the actual 5,000-year-old monument to determine how sounds echoed within the ancient circle of stones - and they found that the sounds would have taken on an eerie reverberation. The study is described on the university's website in a technical analysis as well as a news release issued last week, but the upshot is that the Neolithic people who gathered inside the circle could well have had a religious aural experience. That meshes with the view of most archaeologists that the monument on England's Salisbury Plain took on the trappings of a place of healing - a "Neolithic Lourdes," if you will.

Pyramids of Mesoamerica

Thursday evening, as Ron and I were talking on the phone, we decided to go in search of Z in the form of Quetzalcoatl, as I have seen Z connected to Mexico these past few days. Ron followed Z as I just relaxed and interpreted what Z showed him ... their destination ... Chichen Itza and the Temple of Kukulkan. Suddenly, Ron found himself playing ball with Z in the Ball Court, (image above) with a ball made of light. Z next showed Ron a clock which read: 11:40. I quickly interpreted 11:40 as 20 to 12 or 2012. We asked Z to be more specific. He showed Ron a candy cane - which means Christmas which is near the December 21, 2012 prophecy date. "Is that the date?" we asked. Z "returned" to playing ball which we didn't understand until I figured it out ... Christmas is not the exact date but it's in the ball park. (:) ... Good one Z ... !)

There have been other messages and dreams for me recently linked to that date, so we shall see. This week's clients all spoke about end time dreams as well as visions in their meditations. It's all in the grids ... now streaming into human consciousness.

Awa People of Brazil

The Awa or Guaja are an endangered indigenous group of people living in the eastern Amazon forests of Brazil. Approximately 350 members survive, and 100 of those have no contact with the outside world. Their language is in the Tupi-Guarani family. Originally living in settlements, they adopted a nomadic lifestyle about 1800 to escape incursions by Europeans.

During the 19th century, they came under increasing attack by settlers in the region, who cleared most of the forests from their land. From the mid-1980s onward, some Awa moved to government-established settlements, but for the most part they were able to maintain their traditional way of life, living entirely off their forests, in nomadic groups of a few dozen people, with little or no contact with the outside world.

In 1982, the Brazilian government received a loan of 900 million USD from the World Bank and the European Union. One condition of this loan was that the lands of certain indigenous peoples (including the Awa) would be demarcated and protected. This was particularly important for the Awa because their forests were increasingly being invaded by outsiders. There were many cases of tribespeople being killed by settlers, but perhaps more significantly, the forest on which they depend was being destroyed by logging and land clearance for farming. Without government intervention it seemed very likely that the Awa and their ancient culture would become extinct.

However, the Brazilian government was extraordinarily slow to act on its commitment. It took twenty years of sustained pressure from campaigning organizations such as Survival International and the Forest Peoples Programme before, in March 2003, the Awa's land was finally demarcated.

During this time, encroachment on their land and a series of massacres had reduced Awa numbers to about 300, of whom only about 60 were still living their traditional, isolated, hunter-gatherer way of life.

In late 2011, illegal loggers burned an 8 year old Awa girl alive, after she wandered out of her village. The murder happened inside a protected area in the state of Maranhao. Luis Carlos Guajajaras, a leader from another people, said that the girl had been killed as a warning to other native peoples living in the protected area. According to the Indigenous Missionary Council about 450 indigenous people were murdered between 2003 and 2010. An investigation discovered the Awa camp in question had been destroyed by loggers.

Can World's 'Most Threatened' Tribe Be Saved?   Live Science - April 25, 2012
A new international campaign hopes to save a group of people who have been dubbed "the most threatened tribe in the world" - the Awa tribe of Brazil - from encroaching outsiders who are gobbling up their land.

The Awa live in the Brazilian state of Maranhao on lands set aside for their hunter-gatherer lifestyle. But according to the tribal advocacy group Survival International, which is leading the new campaign, the tribe is increasingly under threat by illegal settlement and logging on their lands. One reserve set aside for the tribe, the Awa Territory, is one-third deforested, its trees stripped by illegal logging operations, some with sawmills operating only miles from Awa land.

"When the forest is destroyed, they either flee or they simply die," said Survival's field director Fiona Watson, who has worked with and interviewed many of the 360 surviving Awa who are in contact with society. On her last visit, she told LiveScience, "They were saying to me, 'We're suffering from hunger now.'"

The issue of indigenous people's land rights is an international one. Survival International estimates more than 150 million tribal people currently live in 60 countries worldwide. The most voiceless of these are uncontacted tribes, people who live without interaction with the outside world.

Uncontacted tribespeople are often romanticized as "primitive" people who aren't aware of the outside world, which is a myth, according to Survival. In fact, many are purposefully avoiding society after deadly run-ins with civilization in the past. Not only do clashes between native peoples and settlers sometimes result in violence, uncontacted people lack immunity to common diseases and can be felled by a simple flu virus.

Survival estimates that there are about 100 uncontacted Awa in addition to the 360 or so who have semi-settled in villages on their legally protected land. After first contact with the Awa in 1973, the Brazilian government has opened up the region where the tribe has long roamed. After iron ore was discovered in the area, the European Community and the World Bank even helped fund a railway and other developments in the region. "This acts like a magnet for settlers to pour in, and ranchers, so Awa land started to be invaded," Watson said.

The Awa's right to their land was formally recognized in 2005, making mining and other activities by outsiders illegal; but satellite photos of the forest reveal that these rights are not being honored. Illegal logging has left the scar of deforestation on the land. This is especially devastating to the Awa, who depend on the forest for their survival, Watson said. "When you talk to the Awa, it's just so clear how much the forest means to them," she said. "They just get everything from it." That includes food - babacu nuts and ace berries as well as fresh meat - and medicines and supplies, such as the resin of the macaranduba tree, which is used to make torches.

Existence of Uncontacted Amazon Tribe Confirmed   Live Science - June 25, 2011

Brazilian officials have confirmed the existence of approximately 200 Indians who live in the western Amazon with no contact with the outside world. This uncontacted tribe is not "lost" or unknown, according to tribal advocacy group Survival International. In fact, about 2,000 uncontacted Indians are suspected to live in the Javari Valley where the tribe's homes were seen from the air. But confirming the tribe's existence enables government authorities to monitor the area and protect the tribe's way of life.

New images of remote Brazil tribe   BBC - January 31, 2011

New pictures have been released of an isolated tribe living in rainforest on the Brazil-Peru border. Brazil monitors many such tribes from the air, and they are known as "uncontacted" because they have only limited contact dealings with the outside world. Photographs of the same tribe were released to the world two years ago. Campaigners say the Panoan Indians are threatened by a rise in illegal logging on the Peruvian side of the border.

Crystalinks' stats program reflects that people are searching for Crop Circles as we enter the month of May - not just any crop formations but those tied to the Mayan Calendar and predictions about December 21, 2012. You can search YouTube, Google, or Videos so see what you think will emerge on the ground this season - or maybe look at older formations that now make sense to you. Let me know if you find anything to share with other readers. We can make this a group project. This seems to be important as so many people are searching, as if sensing and waiting for something. One video I watched today said Quetzalcoatl returns this summer. Let's keep an open mind. In the meantime, Crystalinks Crop Circles are up to date and waiting for ....
