April 2014

When I name "jpg" images from the news - I use the month and year. April's images will end with ...414.jpg.

In thirty years as a professional psychic, I have read more clients born on April 14 (414) than any other date. There is definitely a pattern here, just as some people identify with 11:11. 414 = 9 = closure. Reality is about numbers and patterns. It's all very curious to me.

As we move into April, I stand firm on my beliefs about Flight MH370. I still think it's linked to some sort of a temporal anomaly - no matter how it was created - and that the wreckage and passengers will never be found. As always there is a cover-up. There is too much surveillance, among other information, for the truth not to be known. It truly is sad for the families involved.

There's lots of April showers around this neck of the woods. It takes me to Noah and flood stories. Ancient Alien Theory mentions that Noah's Ark could be a UFO and I would agree. The film 'Noah' Is No. 1 Despite Complaints   New York Times - March 31, 2014

Noah - Biblical tales brought forth in End Times. April brings Passover and Easter and the energies that go with holidays and the bible. Mythology and ancient alien theory.

Last week's devastating landslide in Washington State was not caused by an earthquake, but earthquake activity is ramping up. Keep an eye on Yellowstone (Wyoming) because many people think the supervolcano will blow soon - noting that things are being held back by the government. Animals in your area are precursors to earthquakes. A reader of this blog sent me a video showing bisons running away from Yellowstone days before yesterday's 4.8 earthquake. There was also a 4.4 in Oklahoma which is near the infamous New Madrid Fault Line (Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Arkansas, Kentucky, Tennessee and Mississippi). You know about earthquakes in California this month. A Facebook friend in California wrote that ants do crazy things before a big earthquake. It's all about sensing vibrations and frequency. Many humans have the same ability.

The situation in the Ukraine is definitely going to accelerate now as well is as in other places that have been simmering. Aries is the warrior and full steam ahead.

April, geography and the zodiac

In terms of geography Aries is linked with England, Germany, France, Italy, Denmark, Switzerland, Syria, and Poland. In terms of geography, Taurus is linked with Switzerland, Sweden, Cyprus, Ireland, Iran and Russia.

I also link Taurus with Egypt and other parts of the middle east. This could coincide with activities linked to Russia and the eclipses of April 2014. (see below)

Does April Fool's Day imply that April is the month of the trickster? It's not going to be an easy month anyway you cut it. Be careful. Plan ahead. Review decisions, but don't procrastinate as Spring is the time we move forward one way or another.

Autism Awareness Day

April 2, 2014

World Autism Awareness Day

As a former teacher who worked with autistic students - the increase in the number of souls born into the autistic spectrum is alarming - the definition of autism, evolving. These numbers started increasing in 1998. Many children born in that window are now at puberty and the hormonal issues he creates.

We also have to look at children born with aspergers syndrome - genetically based and another variation from what we formally considered the norm. Aspergers behavior may be part of many adults who either believe it's OCD or don't recognize their rigid behavior patterns as part of a recognize spectrum.

There is also an awareness, especially in boys, of an increase in ADD or perhaps just a greater awareness now of hyperactivity and brain functioning. Most children with ADD have at least one parent who falls under the same heading.

The educational needs of students, definitely needs to evolve along with current research in all areas of education. Children diagnosed early on, are often able to mainstream by age 5, though some symptoms and behavior patterns may remain. Current problems of obesity and bullying in children can also be linked to any of the spectrums above.

Everything is about the brain and conscious awareness, manifested by one's genetic codes to experience in physical reality. We tend to believe that no matter what obstacles we face in life, they will be bred out of the next generation. That is so not true.

  CDC: 1 in 68 U.S. children has autism   CNN - March 28, 2014
One in 68 U.S. children has an autism spectrum disorder (ASD), a 30% increase from 1 in 88 two years ago, according to a new report released Thursday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The incidence of autism ranged from a low of 1 in 175 children in Alabama to a high of 1 in 45 in New Jersey, according to the CDC. Children with autism continue to be overwhelmingly male. According to the new report, the CDC estimates 1 in 42 boys has autism, 4.5 times as many as girls (1 in 189).

Autism 'begins long before birth'   BBC - March 27, 2014
Scientists say they have new evidence that autism begins in the womb. Patchy changes in the developing brain long before birth may cause symptoms of autism spectrum disorder (ASD), research suggests. US scientists analyzed post-mortem brain tissue of 22 children with and without autism, all between two and 15 years of age. They used genetic markers to look at how the outermost part of the brain, the cortex, wired up and formed layers. Abnormalities were found in 90% of the children with autism compared with only about 10% of children without. The changes were dotted about in brain regions involved in social and emotional communication, and language, long before birth, they say.

New clue to autism found inside brain cells   PhysOrg - March 26, 2014
The problems people with autism have with memory formation, higher-level thinking and social interactions may be partially attributable to the activity of receptors inside brain cells.

The journey of the souls begins at creation as they spiral out of the eye and randomly attach to grids of experience.

9.2 Earthquake in Alaska

1964 Alaska earthquake   Wikipedia
The 1964 Alaskan earthquake, also known as the Great Alaskan Earthquake and Good Friday Earthquake, was a megathrust earthquake that began at 5:36 P.M. AST on Good Friday, March 27, 1964. Across south-central Alaska, ground fissures, collapsing structures, and tsunamis resulting from the earthquake caused about 139 deaths. Lasting nearly three minutes, it was the most powerful recorded earthquake in U.S. and North American history, and the second most powerful ever measured by seismograph. It had a moment magnitude of 9.2, making it the second largest earthquake in recorded history - the largest being the 1960 Valdivia earthquake in Chile.

11 Facts About the 1964 Alaska Earthquake   Live Science - March 27, 2014
1. Of the 131 people killed during the earthquake, 119 died in tsunamis. Most were killed by tsunamis triggered by underwater landslides, not by the earthquake-induced tsunami.

2. In Chenega, 25 of the village's 76 residents drowned in a tsunami. The only building that survived the wave intact was the schoolhouse, built 100 feet (30 meters) above sea level.

3. Several towns and villages were moved to safer ground after the tsunamis, including Seward, Valdez, Girdwood and Chenega.

4. The tallest tsunami wave height was 219 feet (67 m) in Shoup Bay in the Valdez Inlet. <> 5. The world rang like a bell for several weeks from the earthquake waves.

6. Seiche waves, sloshing of water back and forth in a small body of water like a boat harbor or swimming pool, were noted as far away as Louisiana, where a number of fishing boats were sunk. Oscillations in the height of water in wells were reported as far away as South Africa.

7. The earthquake initially had a magnitude of 8.5 on the Richter scale. The moment magnitude scale, a better measure of seismic power, has since superseded the Richter scale. The new size estimate is magnitude 9.2, the second most powerful ever recorded.

8. If the energy of a magnitude-5 earthquake is like snapping a single spaghetti strand, then a magnitude-9.2 earthquake releases enough energy to snap 800,000 spaghetti strands, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

9. The damage totaled about $300 million in 1964 dollars ($2.3 billion in 2013 dollars).

10. Four out of five earthquakes in the United States occur in Alaska.

11. After the 1964 megathrust earthquake, three-quarters of the Aleutian subduction zone ruptured in a span of eight years. The subduction zone is 2,100 miles (3,300 kilometers) long.

How the 1964 Alaska Earthquake Shook Up Science   Live Science - March 27, 2014
There were great horrors, but what many children remember is missing their supper. The earthquake struck at 5:36 p.m. Alaska Standard Time on Good Friday. When the first shaking hit, many parents were in the kitchen, fixing dinner. For more than 4 minutes, the earth buckled and lurched all across southern Alaska. Few people returned home to their meals that night. In Anchorage, the ground cracked open and giant fissures swallowed children whole, killing them in front of their siblings. Landslides launched tsunamis that swept away coastal villages before the shaking even ended. In Seward, spilled oil slicked the water and caught fire. When the earthquake-triggered tsunami hit minutes later, the wave was blazing. "It was an eerie thing to see - a huge tide of fire washing ashore," survivor Gene Kirkpatrick told National Geographic magazine in 1964. In 50 years, no earthquake since has matched the power of the March 27, 1964, Great Alaska earthquake. Now ranked a magnitude 9.2, the second-largest ever recorded, the earthquake radically transformed the young state. Important coastal ports, roads and rail lines were destroyed. The liquefied ground in Anchorage led to the country's strictest seismic building codes (now outpaced by California). President Lyndon Johnson ordered a comprehensive scientific study of the earthquake.

Vacations

Many people will be planning vacations now. We've got spring break, summer vacation, and so many other things that get us up and going on a new adventure that may change our lives, perhaps forever.

We don't all vacation in the same way. Some people prefer to be on their own while others like to go with a partner or group. Some prefer to go somewhere they've never explored while others will return to the same place year after year. Are you a tourist or do you prefer to go somewhere, relax, and do nothing? I guess we will vacation in different agendas at different portals of our lives.

When you think about a vacation now where do you see yourself? Who are you with? How many days are you away? Do you like a romantic vacation? Do you have a friend you meet just for vacations? Do you make a business trip into a vacation as well? What is the best vacation you've ever taken?

The Call of the Wild Syndrome

The brain is a computer triggered by many things including seasons. It all goes to one's programming for experience.

Winter can bring on Seasonal Affective Disorder - also known as winter depression, winter blues, summer depression, summer blues, or seasonal depression. It is was considered a mood disorder in which people who have normal mental health throughout most of the year experience depressive symptoms in the winter or summer.

Along comes the Spring which triggers another set of symptoms in people who suffer from classic depression including insomnia, anxiety, irritability, decreased appetite, weight loss, social withdrawal, and decreased sex drive. I call their behavior The Call of the Wild Syndrome - a need for freedom that affects many people each year generally when the sun enters Taurus.

The Call of the Wild Syndrome manifests in different ways, most of which involve detachment from things that do not work or make the soul feel confined. It is an intense need for freedom, especially after the nesting months of the fall and winter. The soul needs to be outdoors, just as many animals of the wild. It is an impulsive behavior pattern, which seems to impact on the same people year after year as if instinctual.

This syndrome usually involves souls with issues of commitment, moods swings, and other emotional issues such as depression.

Spring, in general, signals to the soul that new adventures and relationship will happen if they make change - out with the old in with the new. Many people leave their current relationships, families, jobs, responsibilities, needing to be free in the "jungle of life" at least until the next nesting season (autumn) when they will repeat the pattern once again.

Conscious Uncoupling

This is the time of the year I blog about the end of relationships as Spring arrives and people want the freedom to find somebody new and exciting to catalyze their emotions and spiritual journey.

We have all seen the repercussions - hurt and pain - created by the split of relationships and the host of emotions created for all concerned. It is not easy to go through a divorce or any other separation.

In 2014, we are aware that people need counseling and support during a divorce. As society dictates that we do things in a "conscious way", along comes a new expression, Conscious Uncoupling, in reference to Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin's divorce.

Conscious Uncoupling makes it seem that everything they are doing is in love and light, in the best interests of all concerned, and all that metaphysical jargon. To me this is another one of those modern-day healing-your-issues expressions because as we all know that no divorce is simple no matter how metaphysical you make things sound. Luckily this couple will not have to battle over money and material possessions as most couples do. Chris will be in London while Gwyneth will live in the US raising the children though they'll be lots of together time. I think it's a simple matter of a couple who've grown apart. Each will have a new partner on the continent (content) in which they came here to live and experience. Good luck to all.

If you are going through a separation or divorce at this time, you will probably want to be civil and "conscious" about the way things unfold. If both adults are emotionally stable, things can move along amicably, but that is usually not the case. We generally find a relationship in which one of the partners triggers the worst emotionally in the other - both partners feeling that the other is emotionally unstable - never realizing that maybe they contributed to that behavior. Often one of the partners is hurt, disappointed, scorned, and has developed a pattern of abuse towards the other. The expectations each one brought to the other at the time of the union have failed, and everyone is angry. This will result in a bitter divorce where emotions may never be reconciled. Good luck with that.

Peru - Earthquakes

Magnitude 6.3 earthquake strikes northwestern Peru   Reuters - March 25, 2014
A magnitude 6.3 earthquake struck northwestern Peru near its border with Ecuador on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported. Peru's National Civil Defense Institute (INDECI) said it had not received reports of serious damage or injuries, and authorities did not issue a tsunami alert.

Geologist warns that Peru's next earthquake could be a big one   Peru This Week - March 25, 2014

Geologist Patricio Valderrama warns that Peru's latest tremors are a sign that the next earthquake will be a big one. There have been more than 50 tremors in Peru over the past few days, something which Peruvian geologist and volcanologist, Valderrama suggests could mean that a big earthquake is on its way. Valderrama says that there has been a long seismic silence in Tumbes, Piura, Lambayeque, Lima, and Tacna, with only small tremors taking place for a while.

Projections in Time

When I was a little girl, television first began, thus setting the stage for me to watch programming all of my life as Ellie Crystal.

Maybe it's because of

    - my connection to the Watchers

    - a knowing that what we believe is reality, is all projected illusion on the screens of our minds

    - when I had my UFO experience in 1954, everything that was shown to me was projected imagery on streaming (as in consciousness) 360° screens.

    - I use the glass door to my terrace, or the windows in my home, as screens with flowing images when I do my readings

    - I am a visual learner

    - or something else beyond this reality

but I have always related to the concept of the visual. It's the way my brain is programmed for experience.

As technology evolved, video became one of the main facets for understanding how the hologram works. It's also an excellent healing tool.

YouTube has become a way to bring humanity together instantly - as videos go viral in a day and suddenly everyone gets the message.

Understanding the hologram ... Visualize yourself and someone else walking through a park and having an experience that is being recorded but a third person. After a while you stop to watch the video of what you experienced. When something gets boring you fast forward. When something needs to be explored further you rewind and watch it again. And when you are done you push the off button - computer end program. The part of you that is projected on the screen is not harmed when the experience is no longer running. And that is the way reality works.

2014

Right now, capturing the attention of the world in the news, we find MH370, The G-7, Mudsildes, Oil Spills, among other stories that will connect for you if you're programmed to get something from them. Our personal consciousness grids are always out there "seeking" to select and connect grid experiences that are part of your programming. You never stop doing that - even in dream time and out of body experience such as meditation - until your consciousness leaves the hologram. There are personal experiences - but then there are those that touch all of humanity creating evolutionary consciousness. Where are we in 2014? We are trying really hard not to be deceived by the trickster and those who play that role in this reality. We are no different than early man programmed for experience, living that experience, and always feeling there is a higher purpose for being here, no matter how bad things get.

TV

If you watch "The Good Wife," you are very upset that they killed off Will Gardner. First, it was Carter on Person of Interest, now Will among other main characters on shows I don't watch. I guess art imitates life because even in our personal "realities" main characters are taken away from us. Loss has become a very recognized component of the human evolutionary process.

Let's segue to a great new show called Believe. Here we find a story about a little girl named Bo, who reminds me of Allie on Steven Spielberg's miniseries "Taken." Genetics made both little girls special with telekinetic powers and more. Both were/are on the run from the government ... and along the way meet their biological fathers. If you watch "Believe", you've probably pieced together that Bo's father Tate was wrongfully put in jail by the bad guy Roman Skouras. Like Allie, I believe she will learn that she has to be careful using her powers so she doesn't burn out. We have only begun to see what Bo can do. Bo's mom showed us how consciousness projects thoughts and imagery on a blank canvas that manifests all at once. This equates to looking at a steamed up mirror in your bathroom and suddenly an image/message comes through all at once. Consciousness is a fun tool if you understand how it works.

Let's go to another new show Crisis. Scully, from X-Files, has a lead role in a plot that is reminiscent of last season's TV series "Hostages".

Monday night brings Intelligence, Castle, and Bones, and best of all Blacklist (another excellent performance by James Spader last night that included a 1940s music box rekindling his connection to his daughter).

Tuesday -- Perception, NCIS, NCIS Los Angeles, and best of all Person of Interest.

There are other shows later in the week that broadcast a few episodes, stop for weeks, if not months, then return once or twice and you just kind of lose the connections between the characters and the dynamic that they used to share in the good old days when a season ran continuously.

The only programs I never watch are reality shows which bring out the worst of the human emotional experience ... and as we know are all staged anyway ... but then again so is reality. On occasion I'll watch a talk show, or something on the History Channel, but generally don't have time. Generally everything I watch is recorded. I watch the news as world events evolve but generally just for the highlights.

I hope you enjoy whatever shows reflect that which you are supposed to experience in this lifetime. Your selection of TV programming reflects your emotional body and what you came here to experience.

Tuesday March 25, 2014

The governments - or powers that be - need to bring some degree of closure to this situation and so we find what they want us to believe is debris from the missing aircraft. Maybe it is. Maybe it isn't. If this is indeed debris MH370 there are many unanswered questions that go to conspiracy theory, that may never be disclosed All I see are coverups. We are no longer the naive children who believe what they tell us. As with a great action adventure TV series - stay tune for the next episode. All I see are delays.

March Madness

Warren Buffett and Quicken Loans are already breathing easy after a crazy first weekend of the NCAA basketball tournament. No one came out unscathed after the first four days of March Madness. To win the Billion Dollar Bracket Challenge, you had to pick the winner of every single tournament game. Although he didn't enter the big-money contest, Brad Binder got the furthest before Dayton's upset of Syracuse on Saturday ruined his run of perfection. I guess we all should have known better than to bet against the "Oracle of Omaha."

Perfect NCAA Bracket Holder Didn't Enter Warren Buffett's $1 Billion Challenge   ABC - March 24, 2014
After 33 games, he is the last man standing with a perfect NCAA tournament bracket, on Yahoo! Sports at least. The trouble is, the 23-year-old neglected to enter any pools. Not Warren Buffet's billion dollar challenge, not Fox Sports'' $1 million prize, not even a dodgy office sweepstake. That's like filling out a winning lottery ticket but forgetting to pay for it at the counter.

Truffles

I'm not a foodie, but took notice after watching an episode of Leverage called The French Connection Job.

At 13:18, I learned about the value of French Truffles.

'A truffle is the fruiting body of a subterranean Ascomycete fungus, predominantly one of the many species of the genus Tuber. French gourmand Jean Anthelme Brillat-Savarin called truffles "the diamond of the kitchen". Edible truffles are held in high esteem in Middle Eastern, French, Spanish, Italian, and Greece.

The first mention of truffles appears in the inscriptions of the neo-Sumerians regarding their Amorite enemy's eating habits (Third Dynasty of Ur, 20th century BC) and later in writings of Theophrastus in the fourth century BC. In classical times, their origins were a mystery that challenged many; Plutarch and others thought them to be the result of lightning, warmth and water in the soil, while Juvenal thought thunder and rain to be instrumental in their origin. Cicero deemed them children of the earth, while Dioscorides thought they were tuberous roots.

Looking for truffles in open ground is almost always carried out with specially trained pigs (truffle hogs) or, more recently, dogs. The Lagotto Romagnolo is currently the only dog breed recognized for sniffing out truffles (although virtually any breed could be trained for this purpose). Read more ...

France Is Fighting for Its Fungi   Smithsonian - March 23, 2014
With rising temperatures and changing rainfall patterns threatening truffle supplies of France and Italy, Chinese truffles are moving in. The French government has committed $280,000 annually for the next seven years to the truffle industry, and is having scientists look into whether European truffles can be distinguished from imports by smell.

France Rallies Around Its Truffles   New York Times - March 18, 2014
As the world of French truffles falls into disarray, let's hear it for the poor man's truffle of Bourgogne. Inexpensive truffles from China, odorless and tasteless, are flooding France. Synthetically flavored truffle oil is turning up in more restaurant creations. And the supply of the royal black Perigord truffle, the black diamond of French cuisine, is shrinking.

France's truffle farmers aim to stop inferior Chinese fungi getting a sniff   The Guardian - January 31, 2014
France's annual truffle production has plummeted in recent years from 1,600 tons to about 40 tons, largely due to tree clearance.

The Invasion of the Chinese Truffle   New York Times - February 1995
The prized, richly fragrant black truffles of France have been called black diamonds. But for some swanky dishes this season, zircons may be more like it. Another, cheaper kind of black truffle, the tuber himalayensis from China, has been flooding the market. This influx has created a problem because unscrupulous dealers in France have been mixing the two and selling them all as French truffles, tuber melanosporum, to restaurants. Dealers in the United States have been doing the same. Although the two types look the same, the Chinese truffles, when cut, are likely to be blacker, with less veining. They tend to have a chemical odor and very little flavor. Good French black truffles have an intense, slightly musky fragrance, with a hint of sweetness, and a rich, earthy flavor. They are as much as four times the price of the Chinese ones.
