NYC Ferry launches its South Brooklyn Route
June 1, 2017
On the Pier in Bay Ridge with George at the NYC Ferry Terminal which launched its South
Brooklyn Route today. In the background you see the World Trade Center, Statue of Liberty

My friend George and I had fun walking along the Belt Parkway in Brooklyn ... well not exactly ... but close.
Under the El with El ... and George
Eerie - Freaky Flight
George took this pic and the video captioned "Eerie" on his flight from FLL to JFK. Not Spirit Airlines - Jet Blue.
George laughed at this eerie "illusion" as the passengers seemingly emerged from the "fog" ...
Of course George and I don't think like most people.

White Noise vs Pink Noise Machines
What's all the noise about White Noise vs. Pink Noise for sleeping? I was married to a man who snored loudly so I've slept with a white noise machine for decades.
White and pink noise machines are said to promote deeper sleep and improve memory. That makes sense as I have always slept 9 consecutive hours with my "noise machine" (pic above).
The first time I used a white noise machine (the original model with only white noise) ... I had two visuals or memories ... I was asleep on a spaceship or asleep in a simulation chamber on a spaceship drifting through space-time. That's probably true.
White noise signals moving through air and space-time.
Pink noise sounds too much like water to me
Robert Bigelow Man on a Mission
We all know about Elon Musk's adventures in outer space and his desire to prove we live in a simulation and get us free of it. Now let's get to another billion on an ET journey ...
Does anyone remember Robert Bigelow's Theory of Aliens on Earth? That takes me back a few decades. As all things come full circle, especially in end times, we find Bigelow, founder of Bigelow Aerospace, and owner of hotel chain Budget Suites of America, in the news again.
Is Bigelow right? Probably, but there are many ways to address those issues from politicians are cloned aliens, or aliens are here to help advance science, or their agenda is to create hybrids, etc. Once you walk down that road there are as many questions as answers, though it could explain Trump in office. :)
Bigelow has indicated that he plans to spend up to US$500 million to develop the first commercial space station, the amount that NASA expended on a single space shuttle mission. Bigelow Aerospace has launched two experimental space modules, Genesis I and Genesis II, and has plans for full-scale manned space habitats to be used as orbital hotels, research labs and factories. Bigelow's BEAM module was launched to the International Space Station on April 8, 2016, on the eighth SpaceX cargo resupply mission. In 2013, Bigelow indicated that the reason he went into the commercial real estate business was to obtain the requisite resources to be able to fund a team developing space destinations.
Manhattanhenge - sometimes referred to as the Manhattan Solstice - is an event during which the setting sun is aligned with the east-west streets of the main street grid of Manhattan in New York City. This occurs twice a year, on dates evenly spaced around the summer solstice. The first Manhattanhenge occurs at the end of May and the second mid-July.
Shavuot is a Jewish holiday that marks the day the Torah was given at Mount Sinai. The gematria of the Hebrew word chalav is 40, corresponding to the 40 days and 40 nights that Moses spent on Mount Sinai before bringing down the Torah. gematria originated as an Assyro-Babylonian-Greek system of alphanumeric code/cipher later adopted into Jewish culture that assigns numerical value to a word/name/phrase in the belief that words or phrases with identical numerical values bear some relation to each other or bear some relation to the number itself as it may apply to Nature, a person's age, the calendar year, or the like. Similar systems, some of which were derived from or inspired by Hebrew gematria, have been used in other languages and cultures, i.e. Greek isopsephy, Arabic abjad numerals, and English gematria. The best-known example of Hebrew gematria is the word Chai ("Alive"), which is composed of two letters that (using the assignments in the Mispar gadol table shown below) add up to 18. This has made 18 a "lucky number" among the Jewish people. Gifts of money / donations given in multiples of 18 are very popular. Read more

Memorial Day
7:00 AM - The rain stopped as the first police vehicle pulled up. I guess that means there'll be a parade.
History of the Hot Dog in Coney Island - Then and Now
A free taste of history is yours when Feltman's Hot Dogs reopens at its original Coney Island location this Memorial Day. The hot dog vendor, whose original founder Charles Feltman is credited with inventing the sausage-on-a-bun sandwich 150 years ago, is giving away free frankfurters at the grand opening of a stand near the main entrance to Coney Island's Luna Park at noon Monday. Attendees should arrive early for a complimentary beef frank with toasted potato bun; a newsletter from the amusement park guarantees vittles for only the first 150 guests.
Feltman's already has one brick-and-mortar shop on Saint Mark's Place in Manhattan, but the stand opening at West 10th Street and Surf Avenue will mark its return to the site of the original Feltman's of Coney Island, which closed in 1954. Legend says that Charles Feltman - a German immigrant who landed in the city in 1856 at age 15 and ended up building a beachfront resort business spanning a full city block - came up with the idea of serving sausages on buns as a way to reduce silverware usage at what was billed as the world's largest restaurant. How does the decidedly more iconic hot dog purveyor Nathan's Famous fit into the picture? Founder Nathan Handwecker, it turns out, actually got his start as a Feltman's employee before launching his own business on Surf Ave.,
Yesterday, I spent time with local friends. Today, I'm off to be with family in NJ (as the morning fog burns off). Tomorrow, if the rain holds off, I'll be here watching the annual Memorial Day Parade with neighbors as it passes here and continues into the park for hours of entertainment. Wherever you are, I hope you're enjoying good weather and having fun.
Gregg Allman, another entertainer who influenced the world of rock, died Saturday. As with most of the other musicians who died in 2016-2017, there was a history of substance abuse which takes us to mental illness - we all know the pattern. I remember Gregg Allman when he married Cher and had a son, Elijah Blue, who at 40 is a musician following in the footsteps of his famous parents.
Last week, Hillary Clinton seemed to compare Richard Nixon to Donald Trump during her commencement address at Wellesley College. As I watched her on the news, my thoughts seem to echo the words of the news anchor ... "The last thing we need is a repeat of Clinton vs Trump from 2016. The election is over." Both candidates were flawed as people sought change without realizing we are forever programmed for destruction in physical reality. Toda,y we see the flaws and expect the realization of issues means things can be fixed, but unfortunately they can't. It's mostly about money, but goes deeper into the emotional and mental states that permeate the grids.
The summer is just ahead which takes us to climate - from physical to emotional. Trump is back home with increasing issues and questions that go to policy and conspiracy which will take a long time to resolve if ever. Remember its conspiracies that drive this reality. Trump will will discuss his first trip abroad as president saying it was tremendous and productive.
You have to admit there were some humorous moments ...from Melania slapping Trump's hand when he tried to hold hers, Trump's awkward handshake with French President Macro, and funniest of all pushing the prime minister of Montenegro aside to get to the front. Can you imagine the jokes about him after the Trumps departed.
Melania, on the other hand was at home in Europe displaying style and confidence as FLOTUS. She was a welcome distraction from her husband's shenanigans. Melania will shine again as she and their son, Barron, move to the White House next month. Donald and Melania are generations and worlds apart on all levels.
The annual G7 Summit begins today in Taormina, a town on the Sicilian coast perhaps best known for being described as "a polite synonym for Sodom" by Sir Harold Acton, a British aesthete, scholar and writer. It became a hub for gay men after Wilhelm von Gloeden arrived there from Germany in the 1870s and pioneered the nude male photograph.
Many writers have stayed in Taormina, including Tennessee Williams, Truman Capote, Oscar Wilde and Ernest Hemingway, who once described it as so pretty "it hurts to look" at. Looming over Taormina is an active volcano, Mount Etna, which has also made a literary appearance: Cyclops lives there in Homer's "Odyssey."
Locals hope Etna, which erupted in March, does not interrupt the G-7 meetings. "We hope everyone will put their differences aside and come together here, and we hope that Mount Etna cooperates," said Pippo Perdichizzi, the owner of an ice cream shop in Taormina. If the volcano does cooperate, Mr. Perdichizzi plans to serve "Coppa Trump," made with red, white and blue gelato and topped with an orange swirl, in homage to President Trump's "tuft."
Just One More Post
The stories out of the White House just keep coming and coming like a snowball out of hell. Just when you think things couldn't get worse and you want to take a mental break from all of this it draws you back in. Looking at this from outside the box, what is the point? We don't really know what's behind Trump's ridiculous behavior as we sit back and shake our heads in disbelief. If the plan is to keep us confused and perhaps for some disoriented, it appears to be working. As for me I'm just sitting back and letting things unfold. Some days I watch the news ... other days I pass. Sometimes I wonder if my computer is going to crash, or go on strike, if I put up one more Trump post.

How we react
As we approach Memorial Day weekend - in the energies of a Gemini New Moon (Supermoon) tonight - rain continues in the northeast with Saturday the only scheduled dry day. It doesn't feel right to complain about the weather, or anything else, as so many grieve for the lives lost in Manchester and what most of us sense is ahead. Yesterday I listened to many of the entertainers who perform in concert here and abroad. Some have cancelled their performances while others say they will not let fear rule. The way humanity deals with the built-in mechanism of fear varies from person to person and situation to situation. Water (rain) affects emotions.

Remembering Roger Moore
October 14, 1927 - May 23, 2017
English actor Sir Roger Moore died Tuesday. I remember him best as James Bond.
Though he may have starred in the most Bond films,
Sean Connery remains my personal 007 favorite.
Since 1984, New York City has held Fleet Week to honor the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. The week features extensive military demonstrations, as well as the opportunity for the public to tour some of the visiting ships. The Memorial Day commemoration is a highlight of the week's festivities, featuring the singing of Taps and a military aircraft fly over in honor of those who lost their lives in service to the United States.
Sometimes I think I was guided to live at the foot of the Verrazano Bridge for a reason
The energies always feel right ... I'm home.
Do you remember the days before cell phones when we searched for a pay phone ...
or even further back in the Superman days of phone booths?
I couldn't resist taking pics of the fate of these side-by-side phones.
The one on the left is just a face with nothing inside.
The one on the right is totally stripped down with a souvenir.

Madness in Manchester
Another horrific attack, in a long list of chaos permeating the human condition in end times. Security is stepped up here in the city though no reported threat. It's always sad to read about acts of violence throughout the world and for many the fear of not knowing what's coming next. The investigation in Manchester continues, the word grieves once again, and for most life continues on.
Just as the lights were coming on and pink balloons were dropping at the close of Ariana Grande’s concert in Manchester, England, a suicide bomber detonated an improvised explosive device. At least 22 people were killed and 59 injured, including children from the 23-year-old American singer's adoring fan base. The terrorist attack is the deadliest on British soil since the 2005 London transit bombings. Children were among 22 people killed in a suicide attack after an Ariana Grande concert at Britain's Manchester Arena. Officials said 59 other people were wounded, including some who suffered life-threatening injuries. Many others remained missing early Tuesday. The incident sparked a nightlong search for loved ones as frantic parents tried to locate their kids. One witness told NBC News that she saw "a red-orange-looking flash" and heard an "incredibly loud bang" which triggered chaos.

We seek to answer a fundamental question that has haunted humankind.
Are we alone?
In his 1996 Witnessed: The True Story of the Brooklyn Bridge UFO Abductions, artist and UFO investigator Budd Hopkins presents his third book recounting stories of people who claim that aliens from outer space abducted them and conducted medical and breeding experiments on them. The book focuses on the travails of one women, Linda Cortile (pseudonym), at the hands of both alien and human tormentors in 1989. While the author boasts that this story proves that powerful, nonhuman intelligences have long been at work on a covert agenda involving thousands upon thousands of traumatized men, women and children, the case is as weak, if not weaker, than those he has presented before and so hardly supplies such proof.
