Pets

How often should wash your pets, jeans, hair and more?

How often you should clean anything generally depends on use and other variables that can change with one's lifestyle. We all know that personal hygiene should be maintained on a regular basis as well as that of pets in the home. Once you get into the routine of maintaining the things in your life, they last longer, and make your life easier.

When professional cleaning is needed, usually outdoor maintenance, money should be set aside to this end. As you know everything eventually breaks, so prevention often is helpful. With climate changes being as drastic as they are now, keeping things clean and safe is not always easy.

When it comes to cleaning, some people are compulsive while others can ignore dirt, mold, etc. until they have to clean it up. Cleanliness may, or may not, be next to godliness, but most of the time it reflects one's psychological makeup - from OCD to hoarding to more.

Signs You're A Truly Genuine Person

We are born with a programmed barometer that allows us to be genuine or not. We try to be honest with ourselves and others, but that's not always easy, or the best solution. As humans, we periodically evaluate our behavior and the effect it has on ourselves and others. One of the focuses of the self-awareness aspect of metaphysics, and life in general, is Truth - even when it hurts and change must be made.

Food Cravings

Food cravings can guide you to eat something the body is nutritionally lacking or can be linked to emotional eating. Food cravings are regulated by the brain as is everything else you experience. After a while of not eating something ... like sugar ... the brain will stop craving it. How long until the cravings return varies - as most people revert back to old patterns. This is why most diets fail as do many relationships. You are your programmed codes.

  Hawaii's Climate Wipeout   Live Science - July 29, 2014
The sea-level rise that comes along with climate change won't only swallow far-flung, exotic islands such as Kirabiti and the Maldives. The rising waters, fueled by melting icecaps, will also inundate America's fiftieth state - the land of hula skirts, mai tais, and most importantly, Hawai'ians. "I like to think about the islands as they once were ... peopled by some of the most fearless and skilled ocean voyagers on the planet," says Jo-Ann Leong, director of the Hawai'i Institute of Marine Biology. "Now, their whole way of life is being threatened by climate change."

Under the Dome - Extraterrestrial

Among the many descriptive metaphors about our experience in the physical Earth hologram is We live "Under a Dome" - currently the title of a sci-fi CBS series. The mysteries of the Dome allow you as a watcher to vicariously consider how are you would react in the situations the players/actors encounter - a great metaphor for our experience here.

Today's image from NASA looks like a dome or the eye of a reptilian linked to the center of the Milky Way Galaxy - "I" love the creation metaphors.

A Sky Portal in New Zealand   NASA - July 29, 2014

To some, it may look like a portal into the distant universe. To others, it may appear as the eye of a giant. Given poetic license, both are correct. Pictured above is a standard fish-eye view of the sky -- but with an unusual projection. The view is from a perch in New Zealand called Te Mata Peak, a name that translates from the Maori language as "Sleeping Giant". The wondrous panorama shows the band of our Milky Way Galaxy right down the center of the sky, with the Large and Small Magellanic Clouds visible to the right. The red hue is atmospheric air-glow that surprised the photographer as it was better captured by the camera than the eye. The above image was taken two weeks ago as the photographer's sister, on the left, and an acquaintance peered into the sky portal.

Ebola outbreak: Liberia shuts most border points   BBC - July 29, 2014

On September 8. 2011 Ancient Aliens aired an episode called "Aliens, Plagues and Epidemics". That episode really triggered specific memories for me. Could some of our most crippling plagues and epidemics be traced to the darkest voids of space or extraterrestrial intervention to control or destroy a specific root race of humans? Would this be followed by the creation of a more evolved humanoid? If this is true - it reflects new inserts in the hologram.

Lightning

You never know where lighting could strike

This expression means: Something as unpredictable as lightning could happen to the thing or event you are referring to.

Sunday lightning stuck in Venice Beach. Many still look upon California, particularly the Pacific coast, as the ideal place to live ... maybe. I don't think there is an ideal place anymore as everything shifts in the sands of time. You never know where lighting will strike. Can you imagine the reaction of those stoned on weed or other substance?

All dinosaurs were covered with feathers or had the potential to grow feathers, a study suggests. The discovery of 150-million-year-old fossils in Siberia indicates that feathers were much more widespread among dinosaurs than previously thought.

According to the Season 7 premiere of "Ancient Aliens" called "The Reptilians" -- dinosaurs could have evolved into early humans and/or birds. As I have an affinity for Reptilians, it triggered several memories for me. It's probably a metaphor ... like all of reality. The Anunnaki or Sumerian Gods. The Sumerian civilization was a grid insert in recent history.

The Middle East:
Email with a client in Israel

From Ellie: Events are very serious on the global battlefronts. They are all powder kegs ready to go off. From where I watch this in New York City there is no happy ending for anyone. The internet brings the tragic events to the world having a greater impact. I don't see a traditional World War III but I do see lots of people fighting and lots of mistakes made everywhere. Is a third world war actually happening and most people don't know it? You know I believe this is a hologram and everything that's happening everywhere, to everyone, is bashert (destined).

From My Client: I finished my military commitment earlier this year. As to the current events ... we feel safe but the situation is very frustrating. I don't live in the south where it is very hard. Also, my heart goes for many people in both sides that lose their lives. I'm kind of on the left wing here which supports settlement evacuation. Many people who held this approach lost their trust in the other side because the rockets started after we evacuated Gaza. The reality is very complex... With Abu Mazen we can make peace but with Hamas there is no chance. It is an organization which only strives for war and killing - and Israel is not doing its part in giving hope for the Palestinians by stopping the settlement growth.

Hamas agrees to daylong cease-fire; Israel says it was violated   CNN - July 27, 2014
Not long after Israel resumed its offensive in Gaza on Sunday because of "incessant rocket fire" from Gaza, Hamas said it agreed to a 24-hour U.N.-mediated cease-fire, a move that prompted the United Nations to try to get Israel to accept the hiatus.

Across the Pond ...

Science fiction takes over London as Worldcon and Nine Worlds land   The Guardian - July 24, 2014
With two of the biggest events on the world SF calendar coming to town this August, others are racing to join in. London is set to be the centre of the science fiction universe this summer as the giants of the speculative literary world head for four major events spread out over little more than a week. The big one, of course, is the 72nd World Science Fiction Convention, held from 14 August 14 to 18 August at the ExCel centre in the Docklands. If Worldcon is the venerable grandmaster of SF conferences, then the new kid snapping at its heels is the Nine Worlds Geekfest, taking place for the second time the weekend before, 8-10 August, at the Radisson hotel in Heathrow.

If those events don't do it for you, how about the return of the TV series Ancient Aliens Friday night on H2. This is the start of Season 7, so don't expect too much new in story lines, though the writer and producers do have a way of explaining the unexplained by attributing events to ancient alien visitors. Well ...... It's either ancient aliens, inserts in the hologram, or inserts in the hologram that include ancient aliens. Are some of you still trying to sort that out? It all begins with one of my favorite topics, "The Reptilians". Yes ... yes ... we know ... it all goes back to the Anunnaki who were played by the gray aliens as reptilians ... and so on down the DNA line including the mythological gods of ancient civilizations. Sometimes stories have to be recycled to awaken the sleeping prophet within.

Extant

I've watched the first three episodes of Extant and not an alien in sight (insight). The only thing creepy is the little boy. It's turning out to be more of a psychological thriller than an alien adventure. Nothing about the series makes me want to second-guess where the storylines are going as with -- "X-Files, "Fringe", "Stargate SG1" and their mythologies and wake-up codes.

Spielberg also produces "Falling Skies" on TNT - another show that falls flat. It centers around humanity's fight for freedom, from all sorts of mean aliens who come to conquer Earth. Along the way they also produce a female hybrid child, like Allie in Taken and probably the plot in Extant.

Spielberg seems to be focused on alien human interaction to produce a more advanced race. Has that already happened? If so, who is this female? Does this take us to Ancient Alien biogenetic experiments? The Jesus storyline? It seems interesting to find out where the grids are leading Spielberg. His films are an ongoing storyline in themselves about the destiny of humanity. For now, let's see what the future holds for Extant.

Yellow

Sunday, I posting this picture with the blog below about Fight MH17.

Tuesday, I posted an image from Spaceweather about Sundogs.

Wednesday, Spaceweather linked that image to a NASA story about the
2nd anniversary of the July 2012 Solar Superstorm.

Wednesday, I was looking for a photo and story about the
White Flag and the Brooklyn Bridge and this popped up first.

American Flags Bleached White Appear Atop Brooklyn Bridge   NBC - July 23, 2014

Why do images with yellow backgrounds find me this week? I never chose yellow as a background but Z was adamant about these pictures all of which I found immediately.

This summer, I have been drawn to wearing yellow more than ever before though the fashion experts on the talk shows say orange the color for this summer. The two colors are linked.

Yellow is the color most associated with optimism. As a chakra, it connects with the solar plexus or intellect. There is also an association with China. Symbolism of Yellow

The image of the girl in the bleachers - who is supposed to be me - has the same grid energies as the NBC picture of the white flag on the Brooklyn Bridge.

One could second-guess this and say something that's going to happen with the sun is going to bring freedom to the souls. Doesn't feel right but you never know. A CME could take us out but I see a quick ending. CME's take time to get here. Just about everything that's important to us is affected by the sun. We still keep an eye on solar flare activity as it affects Earth's magnetics and thus human behavior, communications and more. The sun moved into Leo yesterday - a fire sign ruled by the Sun.

We all know the symbolism of the white flag - surrender. Someone was planting a message on both arches of the bridge. The symbolism of the bridge is consciousness moving from one side to another.

Several people I know, who work in the area and saw the flags, said it reminded them of 9/11 accompanied by the statement, "Surrender or be attacked again." I don't see that on US soil.

I've driven over several bridges lately (NY, NJ, CT) and noted spot checks for the first time since 9/11 especially with unmarked vans. With war, revolution, and chaos throughout the planet we watch and wait to see what's next.

CAVES

Cave with Aurora Skylight   NASA - July 22, 2014

Yes, but have you ever seen aurora from a cave? To capture this fascinating juxtaposition between below and above, astrophotographer Bjargmundsson spent much of a night alone in the kilometer-long Raufarholshellir lava cave in Iceland during late March. There, he took separate images of three parts of the cave using a strobe for illumination. He also took a deep image of the sky to capture faint aurora, and digitally combined the four images later. The 4600-year old lava tube has several skylights under which stone rubble and snow have accumulated. The person standing on each mound - it's the artist.

Quote from last week's episode of "Perception"

You think of your life as a story. MRI studies show us that following a story - a narrative with a beginning, middle, and end - causes our brains to release cortisol and oxytocin. These chemicals give us the unique human ability to connect with someone - even a total stranger - and empathize. Stories are what we use to bring meaning to our lives.

Now imagine, for a moment, that we live without the understanding that our story must eventually end. What if our lives were as infinite as the universe, if the ticking clock never stopped. What would our story be then? Would we still love or care? Would those tiny fleeting moments that mean everything - mean anything at all?

It's all about perception ....

Midnight Sundogs - Spaceweather.com - July 22, 2014

Some of us have seen the midnight sun. Even more have witnessed sundogs. But have many people have seen a mashup of the two--the elusive midnight sundog? On July 21-22, Stine Bratteberg photographed the combo from Bleik, And¿ya, Norway: Sundogs, the rainbow-colored splashes of light on either side of the sun, are caused by sunlight striking ice crystals in the air. Plate-shaped crystals flutter down from the sky like leaves falling from trees. Aerodynamic forces align their flat sides parallel to the ground, and when sunlight hits a patch of well-aligned crystals at the right distance from the sun, voila! - a sundog. Bratteberg's photo also captured a faint midnight sun halo and a midnight upper tangent arc. You can see a lot of midnight atmospheric optics from the Arctic Circle. But not for much longer. As northern summer comes to an end, the midnight sun will fade and auroras will chase the sundogs into the darkening Arctic night.

Light Bending

Today the window I blogged about early last week - from July 17-21 - closes. It's certainly has been a bumpy ride for many people - including MH17 - creating a whole new set of dramas. This particular grid seems to have made a sharp 90° left turn. To me, when white light is bent at a 90° angle things disappear.

Light bending may refer to:
