Monday

Immigration takes center stage - the US-Mexican order crossing fills as caravan of migrants arrived -m embers of a migrant caravan seeking asylum in the United States. Our hearts go out to the people who have traveled so far for freedom ... but can the US properly take care of them? Here is an example ... In Arizona the teachers strike continues into its third day. If we can't properly care for ourselves and our children ... how can we take care of thousands of immigrants? Just saying ... if you live in a ghetto or some other unsafe place that has bad weather, you might have issues with illegals who plan to live in sunny California and how their survival parallels your own. It's never easy. I understand the plight of the immigrants who only want a safe home, if such a thing exists in today's world. But I truly believe we need to create that type of environment at home before taking in others, unless Americans wish to be responsible for them. That's how I feel ...

What can one say about growing tensions between the US and Iran. They are not to be trusted. The same can be said about North Korea. The world is a powder keg ready to explode on so many fronts. It all happens at closure and starts with natural disasters. The world needs Superheroes.

Moving Into Space

Remember when Trump and others talked about a return mission to the moon? There's no way they can pull that off without divulging lunar and alien bases. It's been decades since humans have set foot on the moon as history records, but we know better. Right? Have you ever wondered why we never went back? OK you already know ! Just checking. Here's the article from Space.com - NASA Kills Lunar-Resources Mission Despite Push to Return to the Moon

On the flip side ... humans are moving into space slowly but surely without government interference. It's only a matter of time before humans and ET meet - and hopefully don't collide. Will the people of Earth one day soon have a common enemy in space secretly known at this time and somehow involved in international relations? Damn... I hate secrets! Meet Miss Subways

Once upon a time I entered the Miss Subways Contest in NYC, but lost. Today the NY times posted about David Duchovny's new book "Miss Subways". The X-Files star says of Trumpism, "Are we all characters in a Beckett play directed by Sartre"? By now you should know none of this is real and we are all characters in a simulation anticipating the final chapter and how it all plays out. David will be at the Union Square Barnes & Noble bookstore in NYC on Tuesday May 1, 2018 at 7 p.m. -

Overview of the book:

New York Times bestselling author David Duchovny reimagines the Irish mythological figure of Emer in Miss Subways, a darkly comic fantasy love story set in New York City. Emer is a woman living in New York City who takes the subway, buys ice cream from the bodega on the corner, has writerly aspirations, and lives with her boyfriend, Con. But is this life she lives the only path she's on? Taking inspiration from the myth of Emer and Cuchulain and featuring an all-star cast of mythical figures from all over the world, David Duchovny's darkly funny fantasy novel Miss Subways is one woman's trippy, mystical journey down parallel tracks of time and love. On the way, Emer will battle natural and supernatural forces to find her true voice,

Summer: The Donna Summer Musical

With my daughter Zsia outside the theater

Saturday April 28, 2018

Today the city came alive on a long awaited picture perfect spring day. Summer: The Donna Summer Musical was amazing. Zsia, her husband, Jon and I sat in Row A - dancing and singing with the very talented cast. Donna's disco songs at the end featured huge disco balls - both on and off stage - with shiny confetti that fell from the top of the theatre covering everyone. It took me back to my disco days when John Travolta filmed "Saturday Night Fever" here in Bay Ridge. The show was about the life of Disco Queen Donna Summer. Along the way the show touched on lower wages for women verses men (applause from the audience) and one or two other social issues of the day. As with most performances "Summer" was about someone overcoming their issues and achieving greatness in their lives.

Bill Cosby Sexual Assault Case: For the #MeToo movement, it was a watershed moment. Dozens of women have accused Bill Cosby, 80, of violating them; now, he's been convicted of sexual assault and is out on $1-million bail while he awaits sentencing. The verdict from a Pennsylvania jury was also the most severe blow in a years-long fall from grace for a comedian who had broken racial boundaries and become America's favorite dad on TV. As Cosby left the courthouse, some onlookers yelled, Burn in hell! or Rot in jail! while others shouted, We love you, brother!

Golden State Killer: To his neighbors, he was a grumpy old man known for his meticulously manicured lawn - and his loud cursing - in a Sacramento suburb. To authorities, Joseph James DeAngelo Jr., 72, is the prime suspect in at least 46 rapes and 12 homicides from the 1970s and '80s perpetrated by the Golden State Killer. Yet little in his life story would suggest the sadism of those acts. So how did investigators find him? By linking DNA evidence from the slayings to genetic information contained on a consumer genealogy website.

Spring Relationships

This time of the year clients come with stories about broken relationships and what they have learned from them. Whether you're swiping an app or going places to meet someone romantically, are you fully understanding your intent and your psychological basis for getting there? Too many people claim to want a relationship and don't have time nor programming to do so. Others simply have had too many bad experiences. Relations begun in the romantic spring often end in the fall. If you understand that, you and your partner can have lots of fun. There's an age-old proverb that keeps us grounded in hope ... When one door closes, another opens. But ... will the new person be about more learning lessons in relationships or show you that you have moved past programmed issues? Are you feeling less like you belong here lately? Ready to go beyond? It would seem that everyone has become a therapist for themselves and others but what they don't often get is ... these are emotional programmed adventures along the way in linear time.

Seasons

We are finally arriving at that time of the year many wait for - Spring which signal something new is on the horizon. April, May, and June bring changes in education, jobs, moves, and most of all romance - babies are born and conceived now.

It's a program or paradigm shift experienced internally and externally - the shedding of the old to bring in whatever is meant to happen in your life that connects to your soul, uplifts emotions and brings ... there's that word again ... hope. We are programmed to anticipate change, both planned or out of the blue. It's why people gravitate to seasonal climates.

I've read people who tell me their partner better not die before they do because they don't know how they'll make it alone regardless of family or friends. The older you get the more you consider this, especially if the partner is all you have left in a world where everything is collapsing.

Do we return to light? to dark matter or energy? become deleted when reality closes? Do we instantly review the green screens of our experiences here as mentioned by those who have died and returned to this consciousness insert?

World Book Day

On the anniversary of William Shakespeare's birth we celebrate World Book Day. Everybody has a book in them - it's their story or journey. Most people attempt to write either a book, a poem, a blog or something that expresses their emotions. Physical reality is about experience and the catharsis of emotions through self-expression in a creative way. The women in the bookstore in the image above are glancing through my book 2012 Sarah and Alexander in the Alchemy of Time.

William Shakespeare

William Shakespeare was an English poet and playwright, widely regarded as the greatest writer in the English language and the world's pre-eminent dramatist. He is often called England's national poet and the "Bard of Avon", or simply "The Bard". His surviving works consist of 38 plays, 154 sonnets, two long narrative poems, and several other poems. His plays have been translated into every major living language, and are performed more often than those of any other playwright.

Earth Day at a Pow Wow

The weather and energies created a perfect atmosphere for the arrival of spring after a long cold winter. Earth Changes have created climate changes that cannot be reversed so we adapt. What's ahead? Predicted patterns and other events out of the blue. It's been years since I went to a pow wow having attended 4 or 5 in several states including Brooklyn. Today's dancers were from different tribes and nationalities. They talked about all the things you've learned about Native American traditions as they relate to the planet and spirituality. One drummer got political but never mentioning anyone by name as he discussed immigration. Native Americas were here first - the rest of us are all immigrants. Here's the thing. You can run away from the issues of the day and the people that create them but as everything is coming together, you can avoid reality just so long in end times. The way I see it, carpe diem seize the day and let the algorithm of our reality bring the rest.
