Nickelodeon's
28th Annual Kids'
Choice Awards

My daughter Nikki was an account executive at Viacom - which includes Nickelodeon - before moving to the Food Network. She left because there was simply too much pressure. Still and all a great camaraderie developed between Nikki and her co-workers who continue to text, talk, and meet.

Friday afternoon, some of the executives at Viacom flew out from NYC to LA for the Nickelodeon awards. Among them was Nikki's close friend Alec who was traveling with his 9 year old daughter. Shortly after the plane left JFK, Alec, 44, had a heart attack. The plane was diverted to Buffalo, but it was too late. Alec, part of a growing trend for men his age, died. One can assume it was from the pressures of corporate life as he wasn't sick. It certainly rocked the worlds of Nikki and her friends who still work there. Last year, she had been offered a job there again, but had declined. My heart always goes out to the children. Imagine how his daughter felt when all of this was going on?

Saturday at the award show ... Angelina took the stage and delivered a message of hope to anyone who's ever felt out of place. Angie - once again making a difference - said, "Different is good". She attended the show with her daughters, Zahara, 10 and Shiloh, 9 in May. She hugged them before she went to the stage to accept the favorite villain award for her role as Maleficent in the live-action reimagining of "Sleeping Beauty."

"When I was little, like Maleficent, I was told that I was different, and I felt out of place -- too loud, too full of fire, never good at sitting still, never good at fitting in. Then one day I realized something, something that I hope you all realize: 'Different is good'. As your villain, I would also cause a little trouble - it's good for you. So, don't fit in. Don't sit still. Don't ever try to do less than you are. When somebody tells you you're different, smile and hold your head up high and be proud."

When we say, "Different is good" that may or may not always be the case, as being different creates issues with family and friends that some people are not equipped to deal with. The fight for acceptance has caused much damage but has created lots of success as humans play out their programmed roles. That which is the norm today, will change. There are things we can accept in others, and things we can't and never will - mostly their emotional issues that create stress in us. Know yourself and try to be tolerant. If someone's differences, energies, and programming do not align with yours, simply move on. Try not to judge. Most of all, don't get involved in their dramas, they will definitely affect your health. It's all changing.

Coney Island Cyclone

I sometimes blog about adventures in Coney island where I spent the first 11 years of my life. Coney Island - with its amusement areas and boardwalk - has also been the back drop of many films and TV series. Yesterday the Cyclone, an iconic roller coaster, made the news. Scary stuff to start the season.

This "heart roller coaster" is a fun segue to another great night of musical entertainment and awards. It's like being at a free concert but you can save the recording and revisit as often as you like.

Holidays and Beliefs

The energies this week open the door to holidays and what they mean to different people. We have Easter and Passover at a time many students are on spring break. There will be film and television specials, and talk about the past, present, and future coming full circle based on history and myth ... let's throw in prophecy.

When it comes to religion some people believe - others don't. Some walk away from childhood believes and convert their thinking and often their religious beliefs. Personally I believe religion is myth and often filled with conspiracies and misconceptions to dominate human behavior. If I could, I would delete it from the hologram and tell humans the truth - they are projected illusion in a hologram along with the misconception of gods and alien creators.

Over on the Today Show they will be discussing: "Fate and how it influences our lives", "Do You Believe", and "The Power of Prayer".

Is Trevor Noah Thanking God?

Trevor Noah to Replace Jon Stewart as Host of The Daily Show   New York Times- March 30, 2015
In December, Trevor Noah, a 31-year-old comedian, made his debut as an on-air contributor on The Daily Show With Jon Stewart, offering his outsider's perspective, as a biracial South African, on the United States. Mr. Noah, who spoke by phone from Dubai, where he is on a leg of a comedy tour, said he had been given a great opportunity, as well as a significant challenge.

When I appeared on The Daily Show in 2005, the topic was "Evolution Schmevolution" - God and Creation. Things certainly have evolved for many people since then, and yet other remain locked into old paradigms. As Angie said, "Different is good."

Holidays and Restaurant Dining

The energies this week open the door to holidays and what they mean to different people. We have Easter and Passover at a time many students are on spring break. There will be film and television specials, and talk about the past, present, and future coming full circle based on history and myth ... let's throw in prophecy.

Self help goes to allergy season and outdoor activities including eating out and how not to overeat in restaurants (see link above). Allergies: Breath in and out through your nose now. Are your nasal passages blocked? If so, you may have allergies or sinus problems.

Dining out, a favorite past time of many people, should be fun, not annoying. I used to allow everyone to chose their seat first and that was a mistake. Now, I step up and find my seat first. I prefer a private booth to a table. Window view is best. I hate being seated facing a wall and will ask to move. I also don't like to be seated at a table where waiters are constantly walking behind me serving others as they carry trays of food - too close for comfort. When it comes to paying the bill, I'm old school - men pick up the tab unless there is a reason they can't or on a special occasion. Bills can be split if equal or separate checks could apply. I don't drink or eat much so splitting the tab with someone who does, is not right for me. Do you now how expensive a drink is in the city? Do you know how often people eat out?

Veterinarians

When children are 13 years old, they often talk about being a veterinarian because of their love for animals. It's about the way pets and animals make them feel emotionally and spiritually - the unconditional love scenario. Then they grow up and real world issues set in - the dreams of veterinarian school giving way to other priorities. Sometimes they get into careers linked to animals - research, rescue, training, etc.

Today, I am reading a former client who is a surgical vet in southern California. Other female clients in this field included several who deal with animals and their energies in help those with challenges. What also comes to mind is a woman in western Virginia who retired, bought property and lives her dream by raising horses. Another female client in northern California used to make great living growing and selling weed until it became legal and like many others ended to reinvent herself. She discovered a passion for horses and now manages a horse ranch for a friend. It seems we come full cycle as the love of animals and the calmness of nature we experienced when young returns - the dramas of life giving way to simple pleasures.

Depression and the Co-pilot

Life is about healing which takes us to medical professionals and sometimes alternative healers in the quest to make sense of reality and internal drama/trauma.

You think you are the pilot of your destiny as you have been taught and reinforced by others. Not true. You are the co-pilot in this reality guided by your soul.

Most people show the world one side of themselves but often have a shadow, dark, or hidden side based on mental illness and their DNA programming. If you've been following the tragic story of Germanwings Flight 9525 - you know the co-pilot - Andreas Lubitz - was guilty and suffering from depression and mental illness finally "crashing" as many do. It is sad he took so many innocent children and adults along with him. Human consciousness is making many statements - some more horrific than others - it's the suicide thing again and not being able to cope in this reality.

Cancer

I don't blog much about cancer from a medical perspective, just archiving my file on Cancer as new research is unveiled. From a holistic perspective, most people who deal with cancer combine alternative methods with western medicine to heal. From a soul perspective, where it all begins, everyone has the ability to activate cancer in their body at any given time, and it's often interesting how it synchronistically times out in one's life. It's about programmed emotions and experiences. Most wounded souls have autoimmune diseases first and then on to cancer. It's about depression most of the time and not wanting, or able, to take care of oneself. Yes ... it's another pattern. So how far back has cancer been encoded into our DNA programming? From inception. Remember ... you heal if and when programmed to, but cancer does take people on a spiritual journey to find answers.

Breast Cancer Signs Seen in 4,200-Year-Old Egyptian Bones   NBC - March 25, 2015
A team from a Spanish university has discovered what Egyptian authorities are calling the world's oldest evidence of breast cancer in the 4,200-year-old skeleton of an adult woman. Antiquities Minister Mamdouh el-Damaty said the bones of the woman, who lived at the end of the 6th Pharaonic Dynasty, showed "an extraordinary deterioration." The study of her remains shows the typical destructive damage provoked by the extension of a breast cancer as a metastasis. Cancer is one of the world's leading causes of death today, but references to the disease are sparse in archaeological records -giving rise to the idea that cancers are mainly due to modern lifestyles. Tuesday's findings, along with evidence reported last year by British researchers of metastatic cancer in a 3,000-year-old skeleton found in a tomb in modern Sudan, suggest that cancer was known in the ancient Nile Valley.

Angelina Jolie

Angelina Joie has always been about healing and children - the emotions or wounded soul experience. Many follow her decisions as if her life was playing out as a guide on "how to deal with issues and create healing". She has overcome many obstacles both emotionally and physically - without preaching - just living life. Today she continues to teach women that prevention is most important in saving lives. The only thing that surprises me about this procedure is that it wasn't a full hysterectomy as uterine cancer is also on the increase.

Angelina Jolie Pitt: Diary of a Surgery   New York Times - March 24, 2015
Two years ago I wrote about my choice to have a preventive double mastectomy. A simple blood test had revealed that I carried a mutation in the BRCA1 gene. It gave me an estimated 87 percent risk of breast cancer and a 50 percent risk of ovarian cancer. I lost my mother, grandmother and aunt to cancer. I wanted other women at risk to know about the options. I promised to follow up with any information that could be useful, including about my next preventive surgery, the removal of my ovaries and fallopian tubes.

Angie has been a major advocate of human and women's right, traveling the world for the UN. It's the plight of the children that always gets to her. As global chaos accelerates, you have to wonder what her true perspectives are today on the way things are playing out.

No matter what crazy things take control of our lives and destinies - we are always hopeful the next generation will do better than we did, achieve more, find greater happiness and better ways to overcome obstacles, and make more informed decisions. This pattern is found in every facet of reality: politics, economic, society, health, education, other. What happens to the endless children caught up in end time dramas who exist from day to day? Will they be expected to do more in the future or wonder if a future exists for them at all? The human experiment has taken many directions since its inception, but always follows the same patterns of destruction. Luckily there are moments of love and beauty as one generation moves to the next.

The Way it Works

In the quest for freedom - created and perceived in dramatic fashion by the human equation - Yemen takes center stage. Some will follow events, others won't, leaving it to those programmed to resolve the issues ... maybe. We've become aware there are no resolutions ... peace a reflection of the illusions of reality. Across the globe, enemies grow as age old secrets come to the fore as if a grand finale. Do you keep up with the events and conspiracies ? Some will try while others will simple allow fate to play its hand. Living in physical reality has never been easy, so expect more of the same, just be careful and always have a contingency plan. Like gears on a time piece ... that's the way it works.

The Next Generation

No matter what crazy things take control of our lives and destinies - we are always hopeful the next generation will do better than we did, achieve more, find greater happiness and better ways to overcome obstacles, and make more informed decisions. This pattern is found in every facet of reality: politics, economic, society, health, education, other. What happens to the endless children caught up in end time dramas who exist from day to day? Will they be expected to do more in the future or wonder if a future exists for them at all? The image above comes from the news. Two of the children have already been killed, one after being forced into marriage at age 8. The human experiment has taken many directions since its inception, but always follows the same patterns of destruction. Luckily there are moments of love and beauty as one generation moves to the next.

Happy Spring

I woke up this morning and decided to sense which of the follow I was connected to on the list below as the energies converge. One by one I connected in my mind ..... got nothing. These themes all seemed to belong to someone else, so on I went to start my day. Spring is about to start but ... say it isn't snow ... yup ... 2-4 inches here in the city. Not to worry ... it will melt quickly. In 2014 we had snow in April. A female client is driving here around the time the snow begins, but doesn't mind the weather. We have adapted. Would you believe ... This Winter Was Warmest on Record? I also noticed the return of solar storms today. (see graph above).

The Spirit of Jesse

On another note, there is a lovely senior couple who live on the 4th floor who used to park their van next to my car in the basement garage. Fran is 77 and Caesar (who went by Jesse) who would have been 80, had he not died last month after dealing with Alzheimer's disease for 5 years. I sometimes would run into Fran on her way to visit Jesse every day at a local nursing home. She always had something cheerful to say though dealing with her own health issues. When they were young, Fran and Jesse owned and operated a famous local restaurant/bar on 3rd Avenue working hard, raising three children and are/were well respected in the community. After Jesse died, a shaken Fran spent time with her children returning home last weekend, though I was not aware she had returned.

Tuesday afternoon, on my way to the garage, the elevator stopped on the 4th floor. A man got on, said hello as I said, "I'm going to the basement, but you're going to the lobby?" pushing the lobby button for him. "How do you know?" he asked. Suddenly I saw Jesse standing next to him. "You must have come to visit Fran?" I replied going on to tell him my name and that I am a psychic - also blurted out that Jesses was with us in the elevator, to send Fran my regards, and to tell her Jesse was okay on the other side. Suddenly I realized this may have been a bit much for him, but he smiled and got off at the lobby. I often tend to forget not everyone understands.

Thursday evening, around 6:00, Jesse came to me and told me to visit Fran. I am not one to drop in unannounced but he was adamant, so off I went. Fran was home with one of her daughters and another neighbor, Joanne. After expressing my condolences I retold my story about the man in the elevator and everyone understood. Fran cried and was relieved to hear that Jesse is okay as we all talked on.

Not wanting to overstay my welcome, I left about a half hour later. I told Fran she might feel Jesses's touch as if a caress or kiss on her face, and to know it was him. As Fran walked me to the door, she hugged me then paused. There was something in the hug. She let go and took my hands in hers. "What do your feel?" I asked sensing Jesse. She looked at me and said, "Strength. There is something strong coming through you." At that moment we all knew who it was as tears flowed from her eyes. My thoughts momentarily turned to Whoopie Goldberg in the film Ghost. Maybe this was my magic moment in the energies of the day.

Happy St Patrick's

I'm watching the Today show as people prepare for the start of the nation's oldest St. Patrick's Day parade. It's overcast now, but it won't rain on our parade as the sun comes out in a few hours. This parade generally attracts more than 2 million people and travels from 44th Street and make its way north up Fifth Avenue past St. Patrick's Cathedral to 79th Street. This year's Grand Marshal is Cardinal Timothy Dolan, the Archbishop of New York. As with everything we experience here, there's always issues. Why can't humans just enjoy the moment without drama? The answer is simple. They're not programmed to. Watch The Parade Live

Are you wearing green today? Sounds good to me. Green signals many things from the beginning of Spring as nature awakens, to confronting health issues, to the heart chakra and spring romances, to the color of money and the issues it creates, to "living green" themes. It's amazing how many people suffer from anxiety today - very often about money and relationships. It's all connected in the Matrix.

The energies this week will seem very powerful influenced by the New Moon 29° Pisces Total Solar Eclipse, and holidays mentioned below. Once again, they may or may not affect your grid, so go with the flow. If you want to meditate in nature, go for it both in sunlight or the new moon. Whatever calls to you. When meditating, ask yourself, "What is the purpose of this meditation?" and see what happens. It may be simply to relax from the normal stresses of life or act as a catalyst bringing an important message.

Romance may or may not be a priority at this time for you, but the hormones flow and many people are out there showing off their bodies which may look great after months of exercise and dieting over the winter. If you want to look good this summer start your program today. Love ... every year it takes on new definitions but still means the same thing "Romance" and the quest to find someone to fill the heart and share your life.

Recently, it was interesting to learn that over 50% of Manhattan dwellers live alone. It definitely cuts down on dramas. I for one love living alone. It allows me to be whatever I want - whoever I want to be - in the moment. Freedom is the most important facet in my life.
