2011 ... The 11th Hour

Back in 1950, when I was 7 years old, the next event in an endless series of wars that forever plague humanity, began. It was called the Korean War and would last 3 years. People were scared. Concern was that it could escalate into another global conflict, WWII having ended just 15 years before. I remember the children wearing metal dog tags and shelter drills where an alarm signaled a time to hide under our desks.

And now 60 years later, as the US continues to fight in places most of us know little about - Afghanistan and Iraq - this all seems to be accelerating again, old memories returning.

On September 9, 2001, Ahmad Shah Massoud died in a suicide attack by two Arab suicide bombers in the Afghan province of Takhar. Two days later approximately 3,000 people died on U.S. soil in the attacks of September 11, 2001. Following the 9/11 attacks, the U.S. government identified Osama Bin Laden alongside Khalid Sheikh Mohammed as the faces behind them. When the Taliban refused to hand over Osama Bin laden to U.S. authorities and refused to disband Al Qaeda bases in Afghanistan, the U.S. and British air forces began bombing al-Qaeda and Taliban targets inside Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom. On the ground, American and British special forces along with CIA Special Activities Division units ... continue

The Iraq War, Second Gulf War or Operation Iraqi Freedom was a military campaign that began on March 20, 2003, with the invasion of Iraq by a multinational force led by troops from the United States under the administration of President George W. Bush and the United Kingdom under the Prime Minister Tony Blair. Prior to the invasion, the governments of the United States and the United Kingdom asserted that the possibility of Iraq employing weapons of mass destruction (WMD) threatened their security and that of their coalition/regional allies. In 2002, the United Nations Security Council passed Resolution 1441 which called for Iraq to completely cooperate with UN weapon inspectors to verify that it was not in possession of weapons of mass destruction and cruise missiles ... continue

US, SKorea launch war games in tense Yellow Sea   AP - November 28, 2010

A U.S. supercarrier and South Korean destroyer took up position in the tense Yellow Sea on Sunday for joint military exercises that were a united show of force just days after a deadly North Korean artillery attack.
As tensions escalated across the region, with North Korea threatening another "merciless" attack, China belatedly jumped into the fray. Beijing's top nuclear envoy, Wu Dawei, called for an emergency meeting in early December among regional powers involved in nuclear disarmament talks, including North Korea.

Then we come to WikiLeaks and the desire within us to find out the truth about the chaos caused by those in power and control - the Powers That Be - New World Order -- Illuminati ... whatever title they go by. It's time to find out who's really running the show.

We were the children in 1950 ... we're adults now and it's time. 2011 ... the 11th hour!

For better worse ... and it looks like things are getting worse, it's time to hear the truth ... about everything, especially for us in the UFO community. What has transpired over the past 70 years and how reverse engineering and biogenetic experiments have changed the face of a reality that advanced by light years as if overnight. Inquiring minds ... not just want to know but should know... Military clients in both Afghanistan and Iraq say things are not what they seem, but we already know that. They say the release of these documents endangers countless lives. So, you ask, how man lives will be lost and harmed by perpetuating the lies? The truth hangs in the 'balance' as it always has ... and will be revealed as the program closes ... along with major surprises even you can't imagine. Sit back in your seat and watch it all unfold. Be active if so guided but know the bigger truth comes with the element of surprise and very soon.

It Could Happen Here... It Could Happen Anywhere

Computer meltdown leaves millions of Aussies without cash   PhysOrg - November 27, 2010

A freak computer glitch at Australia's biggest bank froze cash machines and left millions of people struggling to access their money on Saturday. National Australia Bank (NAB) said a corrupted file wiped out a huge number of transactions, including salary payments and transfers, and crashed some ATMs, angering many customers who were facing a weekend without money. Spokeswoman Meaghan Telford said NAB was opening branches on Saturday and Sunday and bringing in extra call-centre staff as technicians scrambled to fix the problem.

When the recession began in September 2008, I was advised to keep some money at home in case the banks collapsed. I blogged about it at the time because ... you never know. Now we see another reason to keep money at home, at least to cover one month's expenses.

The problem 'down under' will get straightened out, but can cause chaos in the lives of most of the people affected who were not prepared.

It brings to mind the fear created by the Y2K Problem. I blogged that it would not be a major problem. Was that really 11 years ago as we marched into the 21st century? So much has changed.

Sleep Apnea

If reality is consciousness than that which we consider sleep time is just as important as conscious awareness in this reality. Dream time is about working out issues, processing information, meeting souls on the other side, learning, is considered by some cultures to be the true reality, is not affected by time and space, and does not stop when we wake up here.

Okay .. dreams are important. Got it. So what happens to the body, mind, and soul when we don't sleep a required number of hours based on the body's needs? The results are devastating. This takes us to sleep disorders and a new article linking sleep apnea to weight. Read More ...

Tuesday Turmoil

Tuesday ... Lots of turmoil going on in the world today, as always. From Asia (North and South Korea and Cambodia), to Europe and just about anywhere you name, things are explosive. Monday night Dee, who is from Ireland, and I talked about the financial crisis there and how it's spreading across Europe. Dee's brothers, who live near her in San Francisco, are flying home as riots are expected.

You probably see all of these situations as more events in the news that will soon go away ... think again. Have any of the 2010 recession and other dramas been resolved? Is the economy really turning around?

High School Days

No ... this is not a trip down memory lane about my fun times in Lincoln High School or a promo for Glee.

As you know I taught Special Education in High School in the 1980's ... leaving by 1990 to work as a full time psychic and all that would embrace my life after that. In those years I taught at John Dewey High School in Brooklyn, a majestic school compared to the other high schools, with the largest campus of all. The energies were generally good, the students ready to learn. Some have actually found me in recent years and have come for readings.

By the time I quit teaching, everyone knew about my 'secret life/career' - the students asking about their destinies. Of course I never told them anything. A psychic should never talk to children without a parent present. Teens have always been way too volatile, so I never go there. A teen can change their mind, in a second - it's all about hormones and wanting to be empowered, respected, and understood. Wait ... isn't that what adult life is about too? Teen years are also about the onset of mental illness (18-20) but that's another blog.

Sunday I had brunch with Harold. Report ... UFO's sightings are up even in Brooklyn, abductions are down or just for contact, abductees moving forward in life as one cannot dwell forever unless mentally ill, tangible proof still not available and won't be until the end. So nothing is new...

After brunch ... I ran into a fellow teacher who told me something very surprising - there are plans to close Dewey High School. What set Dewey apart from the other high schools, back in the day, was the college-like campus, advanced programming, and more.

Waving signs and demanding that the city support John Dewey High School¹s programs and students, roughly 200 parents and alumni demonstrated Friday morning outside of the school¹s main gate on Avenue X, in a movement they call Fight Back Fridays. Once known as one of the 'most progressive experiments in education in the 20th century,' John Dewey is one of 47 city schools - including 27 high schools - that the Department of Education (DOE) is considering closing.

My friends have all retired from teaching, but there is something that hits the nostalgia button when you hear about a school closing. I am a teacher at heart, not a healer, but then again, there is an overlap. To be a teacher is to work with students who want to learn and move forward, not remain stuck in issues and ignorance. Students arrive in your life, at least in mine, when they are ready, then leave to find the rest of their answers and destinies. Teachers are catalysts who open consciousness to wondrous worlds. You evolve through knowledge which allows you the freedom to heal. Healers, in the psychological sense of life coaches, therapists, etc. deal with people's issues, all the while not realizing that when the person is ready, they'll figure it out on their own and move forward. It's all about timing and programming (curriculum).

And so fellow students and teachers ... the lesson repeats ... everything must end as reality dictates. This is a Fire/Liquidation Sale ... everything must go! Embrace change - don't fight it. The program is almost over. You should feel like this is your Senior year with all of the universe out there after you leave. You can't understand the bigger picture until you graduate. The Universe is your University.

The clock is ticking .... and the final school bell is

about to ring announcing school is closed forever.

Thanksgiving Week 2010

Sunday brunch with Harold ...

After months of trying to find a date that works for both of us, this is it. We are both 67 and should be relaxing or retired, but are busier than ever with the things we love to do in our homes that face the water. We both write and research and talk a lot... Aquarius and Leo are talkers, having been friends since meeting at a MUFON meeting in NYC in 1989. We've come a long way baby, and yet the answers were always there.

Thanksgiving

It's time for holiday stuff and stuffing. People I know are helping the less fortunate who will not be part of a happy Thanksgiving celebration this year, for any number of reasons - money, divorce, death, military, separation stuff ....

Giving and helping others is what makes so many of us feel good at this time of the year and always.

Shopping

The weeks ahead are a time to shop and with that many have found bargains everywhere ... including the 99 cent stores. I walked through my local 99 cent store, which sells items up to $5, and found the most interesting things, especially for children. I know the older children get the more expensive the 'toys', but there is an understanding that comes with age about family finances.

Gifts certificates still make a great present especially for online shopping in places like Amazon and Target. Since the recession, retailers have learned to start their sales early. My mall has major sales up to 70% in some places. It takes me back to the old days with old prices, yet I wonder how that affects production costs.

Black Friday

Next we find the Black Friday specials - a bargain-seekers delight. Some people wait months for this sale. Some will actually wait online for hours sleeping on chairs, until the stores open.

Most of these stores have fixed inventory. Let's say there were 20 name brand laptops each selling at a very cheap price. Several years go I read about people who would buy as many laptops as they could, then sell them on eBay for a profit. I am told that stores now offer only one item per customer, which seems fair.

Do you remember this story? Worker dies at Long Island Wal-Mart after being trampled in Black Friday stampede November 28, 2010. It was just after the recession started.

A Wal-Mart worker died early Friday after an "out-of-control" mob of frenzied shoppers smashed through the Long Island store's front doors and trampled him, police said. The Black Friday stampede plunged the Valley Stream outlet into chaos, knocking several employees to the ground and sending others scurrying atop vending machines to avoid the horde. When the madness ended, 34-year-old Jdimytai Damour was dead and four shoppers, including a woman eight months pregnant, were injured. It was all caught on camera.

Thanksgiving 2010

If you're leaving early, have a great vacation. I'll be with my children and extended family in New Jersey.

Bow and Arrow - Male and Female

Cupid Roman God of Love

Above and Below ... She is the Tree and Holds the Book

November 21, 2010 - Sun in Sagittarius

Happy Birthday to the Sagittarius readers.

Bow and Arrow

Bows and arrows go back to ancient times. They were present in Egyptian culture since it's predynastic origins. The Nine Bows symbolize the various peoples that had been ruled over by the pharaoh since Egypt was united. The goddess Nekhbet symbolized the unity of the peoples under the pharaoh, her epitaph was 'She who binds nine bows'. The arrow itself was a symbol of divine power, which was personified by Neith, the goddess of war, whose cult was symbolized by two crossed arrows. Two crossed arrows could also represent the power of Hemsut, which was a female form of Ka.

Arrows could symbolize the sun's rays; Atum was the archer who fired sunbeams as though they were arrows. At the Ascension of the king, he would symbolically fire an arrow in each of the four cardinal directions; this symbolized his power over the Four Corners of the world.

Bows were originally made from antelope horns bound to a piece of wood in the centre; it is this form of bow, which is shown in the hieroglyph of a bow. This was around in prehistoric times and many flint arrowheads have been found. Later bows built from a single piece of wood replaced the earlier antelope horn bows. Usually these bows were made from Acacia wood and strung with animal fibre, the arrows were made from cane with flint, bone or bronze heads. When the Hyskos came into contact with the Egyptians they brought with them the composite bow which was far more powerful than its predecessors were. Bows often featured in burials, something that is connected to the goddess Neith's protective role.

Feather Symbology

Feathers are an archetype of flight and ascension, or any other word you associate with moving back to light and consciousness. Most of the important creation god are shown with wings and feathers - Thoth, Quetzalcoatl, Sumerian Gods, to name a few - all of whom seem linked to the alchemy of time and consciousness that created this reality.

Feathers as symbols move from lower to higher frequency based on color ... darker to white or shimmering light.

Feathers were worn by Native American Chiefs to symbolize their communication with Spirit, and to express their celestial wisdom. Also in the Native American Indian culture, feathers represented the power of the thunder gods, along with the power of air and wind. Native American Pueblo Indians would pay homage to the Feathered Sun which is a symbol of the cosmos and the center of existence. Another symbol meaning of feathers also revolves around prayer, and the Pueblo use feather sticks as they dance in prayer for rain during solstice rituals.

As a Celtic symbol meaning, the feather was worn by Druids in the form of ornate feathered robes. Celtic Druids donned these robes in ceremonies to invoke the sky gods and gain knowledge of the celestial realm. It was believed that the feathered cloak along with the presence of the sky gods would allow the Druid to transcend the earthly plane and enter the ethereal realm.

The Egyptians believed that feathers were symbolic of sky gods. Ma'at, the Egyptian goddess of justice, would weigh the hearts of the newly dead in the underworld against the weight of a feather to determine the worthiness of his or her soul.

In Christianity feathers represented virtues. An image of three feathers were made into signet rings - each feather symbolizing Charity, Hope, and Faith. These rings were worn as a symbol of a virtuous soul - they were also used as wax seals. The ring would be dipped in warm wax then pressed against documents to seal the closure. The recipient would know the documents came from a virtuous man by the indication of the three-feather symbol in the wax.

In dreams feathers mean travel or the ability to move more freely in life. White feathers in dreams indicate innocence or a fresh start in a spiritual sense.

Romance Novels

In keeping with the romantic side of life, after the engagement of William and Kate, let's move to romance stories a novel way people can vicariously experience whatever they expect from love, passion, and drama. Though a romantic at heart, I have never read a romance novel, but know people who pour through them endlessly ... to be swept away by the emotions and actions of characters in a book ... just as our time here is a story created in consciousness ... stories within stories within stories that lead to soul reunion. If you've never had romance in your life, you've missed something special.

It's written in the stars

The romance novel is a literary genre developed in Western culture, mainly in English-speaking countries. Novels in this genre place their primary focus on the relationship and romantic love between two people, and must have an "emotionally satisfying and optimistic ending." Through the late 20th and early 21st centuries, these novels are commercially in two main varieties: category romances, which are shorter books with a one-month shelf-life, and single-title romances, which are generally longer with a longer shelf-life. Separate from their type, a romance novel can exist within one of many subgenres, including contemporary, historical, science fiction and paranormal.

One of the earliest romance novels was Samuel Richardson's popular 1740 novel Pamela, or Virtue Rewarded, which was revolutionary on two counts: it focused almost entirely on courtship and did so entirely from the perspective of a female protagonist. In the next century, Jane Austen expanded the genre, and her Pride and Prejudice is often considered the epitome of the genre. Austen inspired Georgette Heyer, who introduced historical romances in 1921. A decade later, British company Mills and Boon began releasing the first category romance novels. Their books were resold in North America by Harlequin Enterprises Ltd, which began direct marketing to readers and allowing mass-market merchandisers to carry the books.

The modern romance genre was born in 1972 with Avon's publication of Kathleen Woodiwiss's The Flame and the Flower, the first single-title romance novel to be published as an original paperback. The genre boomed in the 1980s, with the addition of many category romance lines and an increased number of single-title romances. Popular authors began pushing the boundaries of the genre and plots and characters began to modernize.

In North America, romance novels are the most popular genre in modern literature, comprising almost 55% of all paperback books sold in 2004. The genre is also popular in Europe and Australia, and romance novels appear in 90 languages. Most of the books, however, are written by authors from English-speaking countries, leading to an Anglo-Saxon perspective in the fiction. Despite the popularity and widespread sales of romance novels, the genre has attracted significant derision, skepticism and criticism.

The most famous romance novels come from Harlequin Enterprises (founded in 1949) a Toronto, Ontario-based company that is a leading publisher of series romance and women's fiction. Owned by the Torstar Corporation, the largest newspaper publisher in Canada, the company publishes approximately 120 new titles each month in 29 different languages in 107 international markets on six continents. These books are written by over 1,300 authors worldwide, offering readers a broad range of fiction from romance to psychological thrillers to relationship novels. With 131 million books sold in 2006 - half overseas and 96% outside of Canada - it is both the country's most successful publisher and one of its most international businesses.

Harlequin romance novels have made writers out of many souls seeking to express their feelings in a book.

These days everyone has a story to tell that comes from their heart. Perhaps it is unrequited love, a dream, a catharsis of emotions from a fallen romance, the inner aspect of one's personality yearning to express itself but afraid in their reality, the impact of a past life, automatic writing that suddenly speaks a truth ... or maybe it's just lustful passion as sex in any form naturally attracts most people ... whatever urges the writer to create. As I always say ... if it's fun... go for it.

Romantic barometer ... Ask yourself ... Am I a romantic? Does romantic sex do it for me, or it doesn't matter?

Close your eyes. Envision your perfect romantic interest. What would a perfect adventure with that person be like? Where would you make love? What would happen at the end of the day?

Marriage 2010 ...

I've written endless blogs about marriage. In a world where self awareness and having the freedom to find one's true purpose and heal issues is being increasingly important, marriage is not the answer for everyone. For some, a lifetime commitment works, but for others it is not necessary. Social conditioning has changed. Human consciousness is programmed differently. Being gay is becoming more accepted as people everywhere come out.

People live together, want less long term responsibility, don't necessarily want to have children, change who they are as they move from decade to decade in their lives, see the divorce rate accelerating, education taking longer, the economy and job market, and you know the rest of the list as per your observations of reality.

Healing has taught us that people are drawn to each other to work on their mutual issues, then move on. That seems to be the current pattern. If you have issues and the other person is not a reflection of those issues, the relationships will quickly end ... boring for one person and too much drama for the other. Be friends first, lovers next, and have no long range expectations for at least one year. The high of a romance - love and great sex - generally last 2 1/2 years then starts to wane. Take your time. You may think marriage is the solution for loneliness - think again. Know who you are with and what you are getting into.

I am not totally opposed to marriage. I guess it's just that I read so many couples who outgrow each other and the cheating starts. They come with the question - should I leave my spouse for the transition person? I often read people who tell me that on the day they got married, they knew it was a mistake - not the way to go. Healing and metaphysics dictate finding a Twin Flame - a person in the Heart - the lover who acts as a catalyst to higher consciousness. Some couples only have karma to create children then move on. There are many interesting patterns, I've blogged about in the past. Couples who are emotionally stable, growing together, perhaps want to raise a family - can make marriage work. If you've been there, you now what I mean.

Wednesday night I watched the Dateline special about Prince William and Kate - destined to meet at university - from friends to lovers - who grew together. They have as much magic as Harry Potter. To me they are soul mates destined to stay together. They have a lot going for them, and will overcome obstacles. They will be marrying at a good age in modern times. Like our friends across the pond - I love this couple and wish them every happiness. I am sure Diana will be there watching over them and guiding their journey.

Marriage & Money: My, How Things Have Changed!   Live Science - November 18, 2010

The gap between rich and poor isn't just about money. A new study finds that Americans with low income and education are less likely to marry than those who are better off. The trend, which occurs over a background of declining marriage rates, suggest that while Americans of low socioeconomic status are just as likely as well-off Americans to want to get married, they place a high premium on financial stability before marriage, a bar they may never meet.

The study, conducted by Pew Research Center in conjunction with TIME, used analysis of economic and demographic data from the U.S. Census Bureau combined with an October 2010 telephone survey of a nationally representative sample of 2,691 adults. The margin of error is plus or minus 2.6 percentage points. Overall, the data revealed a deep ambivalence toward marriage, Pew reported. Nearly 40 percent of Americans say marriage is becoming obsolete, an 11-percent increase since 1978. The number of married couples has dropped, too: In 1960, 72 percent of American adults were married. In 2008, that number was 52 percent.

Nonetheless, 69 percent of people say that single women having children is bad for society, and 61 percent say kids need both a mom and a dad to grow up happily. When asked if trends toward cohabitation, unmarried couples raising children and gay couples raising children are bad for society, 43 percent answered "yes" to each question.

Money and marriage

The decline of marriage is class-based, the study found. In 1960, people with a college degree were only 4 percentage points more likely to be married than people with a high school education or less. By 2008, that gap widened to 16 percentage points. Just under half (48 percent) of people without college degrees were married in 2008, compared to 64 percent of college grads.

Nonetheless, both groups place a similar value on marriage, the survey found. The difference was that 38 percent of people with less education said financial stability was an important condition for marriage, compared with 21 percent of college-educated people. Still, the survey found that Americans are optimistic about marriage, with 67 percent saying they're upbeat about the future of marriage and family.

Speaking of family, Americans take it seriously. More than three-quarters say family is the most important element of their life. And the meaning of "family" has broadened. Eighty-eight percent of people view a childless married couple as a family. Nearly as many (80 percent), say a cohabitating couple with a child is a family, and 86 percent say a single parent and a child is a family. Just over 65 percent say a gay or lesbian couple raising a child is a family. Americans are also happy with their families. Three-quarters say they're "very satisfied" with their family life. Eighty-five percent say their current family is as close as or closer than the family in which they grew up.

Four in 10 say marriage is becoming obsolete   AP - November 18, 2010

Is marriage becoming obsolete? As families gather for Thanksgiving this year, nearly one in three American children is living with a parent who is divorced, separated or never-married. More people are accepting the view that wedding bells aren't needed to have a family. A study by the Pew Research Center, in association with Time magazine, highlights rapidly changing notions of the American family. And the Census Bureau, too, is planning to incorporate broader definitions of family when measuring poverty, a shift caused partly by recent jumps in unmarried couples living together.

About 29 percent of children under 18 now live with a parent or parents who are unwed or no longer married, a fivefold increase from 1960, according to the Pew report being released Thursday. Broken down further, about 15 percent have parents who are divorced or separated and 14 percent who were never married. Within those two groups, a sizable chunk - 6 percent - have parents who are live-in couples who opted to raise kids together without getting married. Indeed, about 39 percent of Americans said marriage was becoming obsolete. And that sentiment follows U.S. census data released in September that showed marriages hit an all-time low of 52 percent for adults 18 and over.

Marriage is a social union or legal contract between people that creates kinship. It is an institution in which interpersonal relationships, usually intimate and sexual, are acknowledged in a variety of ways, depending on the culture or subculture in which it is found. Such a union, often formalized via a wedding ceremony, may also be called matrimony.

People marry for many reasons, including one or more of the following: legal, social, emotional, economical, spiritual, and religious. These might include arranged marriages, family obligations, the legal establishment of a nuclear family unit, the legal protection of children and public declaration of commitment.

Marriage practices are very diverse across cultures, yet almost every known society has had some form of marriage between a man and a woman. In some societies an individual is limited to being in one such couple at a time (monogamy), while other cultures allow a male to have more than one wife (polygyny) or, less commonly, a female to have more than one husband (polyandry). Some societies also allow marriage between two males or two females. Societies frequently have other restrictions on marriage based on the ages of the participants, pre-existing kinship, and membership in religious or other social groups.

The act of marriage usually creates normative or legal obligations between the individuals involved. In some societies these obligations also extend to certain family members of the married persons. Almost all cultures that recognize marriage also recognize adultery as a violation of the terms of marriage, and forbid incestuous marriages. In cultures that allow the dissolution of a marriage this is known as divorce.

Marriage is usually recognized by the state, a religious authority, or both. It is often viewed as a contract. Civil marriage is the legal concept of marriage as a governmental institution irrespective of religious affiliation, in accordance with marriage laws of the jurisdiction. If recognized by the state, by the religion(s) to which the parties belong or by society in general, the act of marriage changes the personal and social status of the individuals who enter into it.

Hajj 2010

Feel the power and the energy. What do you think the black stone is and represents as a metaphor?

Officials: Record number of Muslims to participate in Hajj   CNN - November 15, 2010

About 1.8 million Muslims were in the holy city of Mecca on Monday for the first day of Hajj, the annual pilgrimage that every able-bodied Muslim is expected to perform at least once in his or her lifetime. Saudi Arabia's Interior Minister Prince Nayef bin Abdul Aziz, who is overseeing Hajj in 2010, was quoted in the Saudi Press Agency as saying that the pilgrims this year amounted to the "highest number ever recorded." An additional 1.6 million local residents are expected, bringing the total anticipated number of pilgrims to more than 3.4 million. The pilgrims have come from a total of 181 countries.

Millions of Muslims on Annual Hajj Pilgrimage   Voice of America - November 14, 2010

Thousands of tents housing Muslim pilgrims are crowded together near Mecca, where the Prophet Muhammad gave his last sermon. The pilgrimage ends with the start of the Muslim festival Eid al-Adha.

The Hajj is the annual pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia. It is currently the largest annual pilgrimage in the world, and is the fifth pillar of Islam, a religious duty that must be carried out at least once in their lifetime by every able-bodied Muslim who can afford to do so. The Hajj is a demonstration of the solidarity of the Muslim people, and their submission to God (Allah in the Arabic language).

The pilgrimage occurs from the 8th to 12th day of Dhu al-Hijjah, the 12th and last month of the Islamic calendar. Because the Islamic calendar is a lunar calendar, eleven days shorter than the Gregorian calendar used in the Western world, the Gregorian date of the Hajj changes from year to year. Ihram is the name given to the special state in which Muslims live while on the pilgrimage.

The Hajj is associated with the life of Islamic prophet Muhammad from the 7th century, but the ritual of pilgrimage to Mecca is considered by Muslims to stretch back thousands of years to the time of Abraham (Ibrahim). Pilgrims join processions of hundreds of thousands of people, who simultaneously converge on Mecca for the week of the Hajj, and perform a series of rituals: Each person walks counter-clockwise seven times about the Kaaba, the cube-shaped building which acts as the Muslim direction of prayer, runs back and forth between the hills of Al-Safa and Al-Marwah, drinks from the Zamzam Well, goes to the plains of Mount Arafat to stand in vigil, and throws stones in a ritual Stoning of the Devil. The pilgrims then shave their heads, perform a ritual of animal sacrifice, and celebrate the three day global festival of Eid al-Adha.

As of 2009, about two million pilgrims participate in this annual pilgrimage. Crowd-control techniques have become critical, and because of the large numbers of people, many of the rituals have become more stylized. It is not necessary to kiss the Black Stone, but merely to point at it on each circuit around the Kaaba. Throwing pebbles was done at large pillars, which for safety reasons in 2004 were changed to long walls with catch basins below to catch the stones. The slaughter of an animal can be done either personally, or by appointing someone else to do it, and so forth.[8] But even with the crowd control techniques, there are still many incidents during the Hajj, as pilgrims are trampled in a crush, or ramps collapse under the weight of the many visitors, causing hundreds of deaths. Pilgrims can also go to Mecca to perform the rituals at other times of the year. This is sometimes called the "lesser pilgrimage", or Umrah. However, even if one chooses to perform the Umrah, they are still obligated to perform the Hajj at some other point in their lifetime if they have the means to do so.

Black Stones

Alchemy and Mythology

Stanley Kubrick uses alchemical allegories through out the film '2001: A Space Odyssey'.

The obvious analogies in '2001: A Space Odyssey' are the celestial alignments that proceed each of the alchemical transmutations in the film.

The second main allegory is that it is a black stone that initiates these transmutations. Again this mirrors the alchemical lore about the black stone causing the transmutation of the alchemist. Kubrick proves that he knows exactly what he is doing as his secret is in plain sight.

First one must remember that every time the monolith, the magical stone, appears in the film there is a strange beautiful celestial alignment occurring. And one must remember that every celestial alignment in the film is followed by a monolith, that is, except for one. That would be the lunar eclipse that occurs at the very beginning of the film. So the question arises - if we are to stay within the rules that are prescribed in the rest of the film - where is the monolith that is supposed to follow that first alignment?

The monolith itself doesn't show up in the film for ten more minutes after that first celestial alignment, so what gives here? Is Kubrick just showing off his incredible special effects? Is it just there to impress the viewer from the beginning? These things may very well also be true, but the ultimate trick of Kubrick's is embedded in the idea that the monolith must appear after every one of these magical alignments. Once again, the secret of the film is completely revealed from the beginning. There is a monolith that appears right after the opening sequence with the magical, lunar eclipse. But where is it?

It is right in front of the viewer's eyes! The film is the monolith. In a secret that seems to never have been seen by anyone - the monolith in the film has the same exact dimensions as the Cinerama movie screen on which 2001 was projected in 1968. This can only be seen if one sees the film in it's wide-screen format. Completely hidden, from critic and fan alike, is the fact that Kubrick consciously designed his film to be the monolith, the stone that transforms. Like the monolith, the film projects images into our heads that make us consider wider possibilities and ideas. Like the monolith, the film ultimately presents an initiation, not just of the actor on the screen, but also of the audience viewing the film. That is Kubrick's ultimate trick. He slyly shows here that he knows what he is doing at every step in the process.

The monolith and the movie are the same thing.

Synchronicities linked to Saturday November 13th

Saturday was the 5th anniversary of the death of my ex-husband, Ralph. In the morning I called a couple we were friends with, dating back to the 1960s. Marion and Chuck live in the city, were out shopping, so I left voice mail. A short time later Marion returned my call ... laughing. As she and Chuck were walking down the street, she noticed a man who looked strikingly like Ralph, and had mentioned it to Chuck, who agreed. They came home and found my phone message as if another sign from Ralph saying hello. He's actually been around for the past few weeks, giving my daughters a chance to chat with him and catch up with life on the other side.

Saturday afternoon, Anna and I had a late lunch at a local Japanese restaurant. I had not been there in such a long time I couldn't remember when .... And then it dawned on me ... November 13, 1991, just after I moved to Bay Ridge, Marion and Chuck had taken me out to dinner there.

In the evening I called my friend Chris as it was his birthday. Reminiscing again, he and I realized we had met at a psychic development class in Sheepshead Bay on his 23rd birthday in 1987. Now, 23 years later, he is 46. The interesting thing is ... we were the only two students who showed up for the class, which was cancelled, leaving us to go out and celebrate his birthday, after which we became friends. That was a turning point in my study of metaphysical topics.

Saturday, Chris and I had a few laughs about old adventures from 1988 in metaphysical books stores and psychic fairs around the city. This had all opened up for me through Andrea, a fellow teacher who worked as a psychic for many years in Brooklyn and Long Island, and gave me my first reading in 1985, telling me I would become famous. One day, Andrea, a nice Jewish lady, decided to become a Born Again Christian denouncing the work we do as blasphemous and leaving metaphysics forever. Amen! Life can be very funny! FYI - Brooklyn is a big place. As it turns out, Chris and Andrea live a few blocks from each other in the Marine Park area, or at least they did then.

Through the years, Chris studied various metaphysical topics, as we all do on our journeys. Like most, you research, experience, then move on when you are satisfied that there is no place else to go. Chris did not get into healing. What bonded us was UFO's and crystals, not wounded souls, his feeling about that similar to my own - stay and play but then let go for just as in mainstream consciousness, dysfunctional people will drag you down and tire you out. No one seems to have the strength for fractured souls these days - not even them.

And then I asked Chris ... Do you feel you have completed your purpose for being here? Chris has never had a desire to marry, nor raise a family. His job in a local college has been downsized and so he moved back with his family, working when he can. His feelings about his destiny are similar to others around the planet ... there is still something out there he is going to find ... a greater purpose, the good old mission feeling. That's because you are here on a mission to experience emotions, learn from them, record them, and send the information back to the collective unconsciousness, for lack of a better term.

Chris doesn't know when he will have this answer, though it feels close, less than five years. This feeling sits there as it does with the rest of the souls ... like a ticking clock waiting to sound an alarm or dismissal bell. Something is stirring an awakening, the feeling intensifying, but who knows where or when?

Chris and I discussed my theory of the holographic universe, but his consciousness is in another place, as is those of most people who search for answers, they are just not ready. Their programming dictates finding out who they are by playing out their dramas with those who will guide that direction. They are drawn to those people, the others almost invisible. The objective: learn more about emotions and what it's like to experience in this biogenetic experiment, one of many.

We agreed that the time will come when an event - such as a natural disaster - will awaken the souls telling them there is no more time. And then they'll get it ... as reality blips out of existence. Keep an open mind and consciousness.

Close your eyes and envision an hourglass. What does it look like? How much sand is left?

These are the "Days of Our Lives." On November 8, 2010, the show was renewed for 2 more years.

On another note ... it has always given me great pleasure to help others find their way. So, I wonder, am I a healer? Not really. I am a helper ... the difference being ... I do not heal wounded souls, as I understand they will not heal until their programming for dysfunctionality has ended. Their frequency revolves around their dramas to the point they will not let go until there is no one left to play with. If you are drawn to dysfunctional people, or can't let go of those you deal with, good luck. You will need a lot more strength than the people who you consider boring. I hope you find your way out. I am the person you go to, when you are finished.

Medicare Pay Cuts

Many people work just to have medical coverage. By age 65 most are burned out with medical problems of one kind or another. As if there are not enough problems for seniors, we find this in today's news. Oy Vey!

Doctors brace for possible big Medicare pay cuts   AP - November 13, 2010

The scheduled cuts - the result of a failed system set up years ago to control costs - have raised alarms that real damage to Medicare could result if the lame-duck Congress winds up in a partisan standoff and fails to act by Dec. 1. That's when an initial 23 percent reduction would hit.

Breast cancer surgeon Kathryn Wagner has posted a warning in her waiting room about a different sort of risk to patients' health: She'll stop taking new Medicare cases if Congress allows looming cuts in doctors' pay to go through.

Neither Democrats nor newly empowered Republicans want the sudden cuts, but there's no consensus on how to stave them off. The debate over high deficits complicates matters, since every penny going to make doctors whole will probably have to come from cuts elsewhere. A reprieve of a few months may be the likeliest outcome. That may not reassure doctors.

Precognition

Precognition - to see beyond. If reality is a consciousness hologram, then allowing consciousness (the mind) in its physical experience here to 'see' into other realities, makes sense. It is is who we are, how we function without being aware most of the time, is a result of our DNA, and can be developed by learning to focus the mind.

Precognition is linked with Time Travel as the concept of linear time does not exist beyond the physical level of consciousness. Prophets, seers, visionaries, psychics, among others have been using this skill since the beginning of time. It's like anything else, once it activates, you are free to access it whenever, and most people do.

Precognition also goes to precognitive dreams in which the mind moves into the projected illusions, or endless other experiences happening in the grids or matrices that comprise realities for experience and study.

Meditation, or other forms of Out of Body Experiences OBE's,

also show us how precognition can be achieved.

Psychic Development Files

Precognition (from the Latin 'before,' + 'cognitio', acquiring 'knowledge'), also called future sight, refers to perception that involves the acquisition of future information that cannot be deduced from presently available and normally acquired sense-based information. The related terms, premonition and presentiment refer to information about future events that is perceived as emotions. The terms are usually used to denote a seemingly parapsychological or extrasensory process of perception, including clairvoyance. Psychological processes have also explained the phenomena.

As with other forms of extrasensory perception, the existence of precognition is not accepted by the scientific community, because no replicable demonstration has ever been achieved. Scientific investigation of extrasensory perception (ESP) is complicated by the definition which implies that the phenomena go against established principles of science.

Specifically, precognition would violate the principle that an effect cannot occur before its cause. However, there are established biases, affecting human memory and judgment of probability, that create convincing but false impressions of precognition.

Belief

Many of the "psychic experiences" that are volunteered to parapsychologists by the general population involve apparent precognition. In one review of a U.S. case collection, submitted to Duke University's Parapsychology Laboratory, 75% of 1777 dream-based experiences were of an ostensibly precognitive type, as were 60% of 1513 wakeful experiences. A similar pattern was identified for a separate collection of 157 cases experienced by children; here, the largest category of experiences was again of precognitive dreams (52%), followed by precognitive intuitions (52%).A German case collection produced a similar figure: 52% of 1,000 cases were of the apparently precognitive type. A British study of 300 volunteered cases showed 34% to be apparently precognitive.

Wait, what? Study Finds Evidence for Precognition   Live Science - November 12, 2010

The idea of studying whether people can see the future is usually dismissed outright by all but the fringiest of parapsychologists. But an upcoming paper to be published in a well-respected journal finds small but statistically significant evidence that people's behavior can be influenced by things that haven't happened yet.

New Scientist reports that the study is the culmination of eight years of work by Cornell University psychologist Daryl Bem. More than 1000 student volunteers participated in experiments that reversed well-known psychological phenomena.

For example, many studies have found that people are slower to decide a picture is pleasant if they've seen a negative word right before looking at the picture. So someone reading the word "ugly" before seeing a picture of a lovely sunset will be slower to call the picture pretty than someone who just read the word "beautiful." This phenomenon is called "priming."

Destiny's Mission

Wednesday 11/10/10

Some people read or watch TV to experience through their emotionally bodies and in their never-ending healing process. It is how they are programmed.

I have always watched science fiction in hopes that the mythologies of the story lines will trigger something within, and in many cases that has happened, especially with the Stargate adventures, many based on Von Daniken's theories. The currently running series on Syfy, Stargate Universe generally offers little mythology, but Tuesday night was different. You can watch the show when it is posted online or reruns on the Syfy network on your area.

Here is what connected with last night's episode, "The Greater Good". Nicholas Rush (Robert Carlyle), the ship's brilliant, yet twisted Machiavellian scientist, is confronted by the crew after it is discovered that he has found the ships' control room and has taken control of "Destiny", both the ship and everyone's lives. (fast forward to 45 minutes)

The ship's captain, Colonel Everett Young (Louis Ferreira), has only one mission - to get the people on the ship home - back to Earth. (We all want to got home as balance can never be found in duality.)

Rush explains, "Destiny has a mission of its own, which is not about going home in the traditional sense, but about getting the people on the ship somewhere else, as if they were chosen. It seems that eons ago, the Ancients discovered a structure buried deep within the cosmic microwave background radiation - noise left over from the Big Bang. They believed that at one time the structure had genuine complexity, coherence, therefore it could not have occurred naturally. We cannot not see or understand such a structure with our current technology or understanding of physics."

Col. Young asks, "Is there a code, a message, a sign of intelligence sent from the beginning of time." (Of course there is, Colonel.)

Rush believes it is Destiny's mission to find out by learning and exploring. "We are talking about a mystery rooted in the foundation of reality, a puzzle with pieces scattered across the length and breadth of the universe itself. There was perhaps a level of order present at the very beginning of space-time that goes beyond anything we ever conceived."

His description is similar to my view of reality as best I understand it. Perhaps the Ancients are the Sumerian gods who were guided on their mission to create us, just as you are on yours - programs within programs. We may never understand the answers while experiencing in one of the many programs at this level of physical consciousness, but the answers will come ... why? ... because they will come. Our journey here, our Destiny or Mission, is soon to conclude, then you will know. It's all coded in the myth, math, and metaphors of reality. The destiny of the mission is to awaken the souls at the end and bring them home, or back to the source of light from which they're created.

Stargates and Time Travel

The Large Hadron Collider is going to change our perception of reality and the cosmos. By colliding beams of sub-atomic particles at high energy, conditions just after the Big Bang will be created. This would allow particles from other dimensions to enter into our reality through mini wormholes, or stargates, from other dimensions and time lines, something ancient astronauts have been doing since the beginning of the program. This gigantic experiment could prove String Theory which suggests the existence of extra dimensions which are like 'invisible rooms' in your home, thus merging physics and metaphysics once again. The possibilities are endless and now seeded into our grid consciousness.

The Center of the Milky Way Galaxy

The center of the Milky Way Galaxy is the eye of creation through which all spirals into consciousness creation in this reality. There is a black hole in the center which is why the program fades to black at the end and our consciousness spirals back to creation. The black is the void, chaos, the glassy eyes of the gray aliens, the observers, and more. Previously posted news articles speak of recently discovered tones emanating from the center of the Milky Way Galaxy, which signal something.

Fermi telescope discovers new giant structure in our galaxy   PhysOrg - November 9, 2010

NASA's Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope has unveiled a previously unseen structure centered in the Milky Way. The feature spans 50,000 light-years and may be the remnant of an eruption from a supersized black hole at the center of our galaxy.

Bubbles of Energy Are Found in Galaxy   New York Times - November 10, 2010

Something big is going on at the center of the galaxy, and astronomers are happy to say they don't know what it is.

Huge Gamma Ray Bubbles Found Around Milky Way   NASA - November 10, 2010

Did you know that our Milky Way Galaxy has huge bubbles emitting gamma rays from the direction of the galactic center? Neither did anybody. As the data from the Earth-orbiting Fermi satellite began acuminating (tapering gradually to a sharp point) over the past two years, however, a large and unusual feature toward our Galaxy's center became increasingly evident. The two bubbles are visible together as the red and white spotted oval surrounding the center of the above all sky image, released yesterday. The plane of our Galaxy runs horizontally across the image center. Assuming the bubbles emanate from our Galaxy's center, the scale of the bubbles is huge, rivaling the entire Galaxy in size, and spanning about 50,000 light years from top to bottom. Earlier indications of the bubbles has been found on existing all sky maps in the radio, microwave, and X-ray. The cause of the bubbles is presently unknown, but will likely be researched for years to come.

Sumerian Gods and Goddesses

The God who came to visit me!

True or false, information about Sumerian Gods and Goddesses is taken from the Sumerian King List, Sumerian clay tablets, and Sumerian cylinder seals. The Sumerian King List allegedly recorded all the rulers of Earth over 400,000 years who were said to be gods, demigods, or immortals ... or one soul playing all the roles.

These Gods were called the Nephilim Nefilim, Elohim, the Anunnaki

"Those who from Heaven to Earth came."

In Sumerian Mythology the Anunnaki were a pantheon of good and evil gods and goddesses who came to Earth to create the human race. According to the some resources, these gods came from Nibiru - 'Planet of the Crossing.' The Assyrians and Babylonians called it 'Marduk', after their chief god. Sumerians said one year on planet Nibiru, a sar, was equivalent in time to 3,600 Earth years. Anunnaki lifespans were 120 sars which is 120 x 3,600 or 432,000 years. According to the King List - 120 sars had passed from the time the Anunnaki arrived on Earth to the time of the Great Flood.

Creating Bloodlines

According to ancient astronaut (alien) theory, the Anunnaki came to Earth and seeded the human race. This research was lead by Zecharai Sitchin and Erich on Däniken among others, myself included. Physical evidence of ancient astronauts is found through the planet, leading one to believe different races visited here at different periods in Earth's history, or the same aliens return and set up various programs in which they could remain and experience. These would include the Egyptians, Hindu, Chinese, Greek, perhaps Atlanteans and Lemurians, Mesoamerican cultures, among endless others. Will they return in giants space ships one day? Many believe this is so., when the program of this reality ends.

The Alien in the Stargate

Ninurta

His father was Enlil and his mother, Ninlil - both aliens and the same soul.

This relief in the British Museum show Ninurta in a Gateway (Stargate, Portal). He is very clearly using his index finger to push something on the wall. His bracelet looks very similar to a modern wrist watch (flower petals, no numbers) - ("Time" and Flower of Life metaphors). The emblem around his neck matches the design of the Knight's Templar.

Enki's emblem was two serpents [twin human DNA] entwined on a staff - the basis for the winged caduceus symbol used by modern Western medicine and the rod of Hermes. Enki's sacred number is 40. He was the leader of the first sons of Anu who came down to Earth, playing a pivotal role in saving humanity from the Deluge. He defied the Anunnaki ruling council and told Ziusudra (the Sumerian Noah) how to build a ship on which to save humanity from the blood. Ea would have been over 120 sars old at that time, yet his activity with humanity continued to be actively reported for thousands of years thereafter.

Enki's youngest son, Ningizzida, was Lord of the Tree of Truth, in Mesopotamia. He played the role of Thoth in Egypt. The ancient Mystery School Teachings of Thoth were past down to his Initiates who became the priests. They hid the secret knowledge of creation, passing it down through the ages until the experiment was to end. Enki was the deity of water, intelligence and creation. The main temple of Enki was the so-called é-engur-ra, the "house of the water-deep" in Eridu, which was in the wetlands of the Euphrates valley at some distance from the Persian Gulf. This takes us to the Cradle of Civilization.
