A Terracotta Army of Girls Inspired by China's Bias Toward Boys
Wired - January 29, 2014

China excels at large-scale endeavors, and art is no different. New York artist Prune Nourry was uniquely able to produce her installation Terracotta Daughters, a 116-statue update to the famed Terracotta Army, by enlisting the help of Chinese master craftsman Wen Xianfeng and traveling to Xi'an several times over the course of a year. Coming from New York the first thing that blows you away is the amount of space artists have to work with here ... some of their studios could have been museums in New York, says Zachary Bako, whose beautiful photographs document the artwork's creation. Not only was the amount of space available crucial to the project's completion, but Nourry was able to use a working Terracotta Army replica factory to produce these larger pieces.

Telekinesis is Emotionally Driven

An interesting thing happened while I was reading a male client Thursday afternoon. He's single, Italian, 40s, psychic, and works in corporate sales.

The same issues and decisions have been facing him for years involving job, family, and his current relationship - all of which need to change. He has put it off for years but now it's starting to affect his health and he is very worried. Karma kept him tied to the family home. Attempts to leave and move on his own resulted in extreme feelings of guilt. Change not only became difficult but, at this point, was starting to immobilize him.

As we discussed each of the topics in his life that have to change now, a strange thing happened. The breakfront in my dining room started to shake based on the telekinetic energy he was putting out at the thought of making each change. Other topics would not cause this motion in my furniture. When it first happened we thought there was an earthquake, but the energy was localized to the breakfront behind him. Then we thought perhaps his deceased father was acknowledging that he needs to make change because I had seen him enter the room as he introduced himself.

We went from topic to topic in my client's life and each one was so emotionally charged that when his programming acknowledged he was going to make the necessary change - the breakfront shook - the crystals jingling. We moved from topic to topic. When there was no emotional energy with a specific topic nothing happened. When we hit the key issues ... the breakfront shook. It took me no time to realize it was his telekinetic energy moving the breakfront which was right behind him, though not touching his chair. His old programming was ending and his new programming was activated. What a way to go! Luckily, I record my sessions so it's all there. Another fun reading at Ellie's house.

What is My Mission?

Yes, folks, people are still trying to figure that out even after years in metaphysics.

The feeling of having a special purpose is encoded in all of us. It's what keeps us going most of the time. I know I've addressed this before, but as people lose focus and meaning in life, what continues to drive them, is this feeling of, "I am here for something special", and yet few people know what that is.

The healers think it's about healing. The energy workers think it's about shifting grids. People attribute different values to what they consider their purpose in life. At the end of the day, few people are here to actually change the world, because things are preprogrammed.

The realization of who we are in a holographic simulation is the end of the mission and something everybody who is part of this experiment will either realize now or in the near future. All you can do is relax, create balance. and just coast through life. It's never easy and never has been. That's the truth.

Gaining Access

Some people will do anything to gain access to your computer. We know about the NSA surveillance and everything along those lines to which the average person has nothing to hide. It would seem the hacking business is expanding. Each new generation of computer techies are born with brains wired to easily configure the algorithms needed to hack. Can they hack into the larger simulation of reality to perhaps perpetuate the game? NO! Reality may seem like a game at times, but in truth it's just a learning experience, one that will not allow the characters it creates to alter the ultimate destiny.

Did you get the memo/message/email? Receiving spam email is also changing. For years it wound up in one's junk-mail folder thanks to spam filters. Today we find new algorithms and new ways to send it and thus attempt to gain access to other's computers and personal information. Sometimes I receive email that looks very official - as if from a government agency or the like. It contains an attachment. It may ask me to verify something. I never ever open it. To open the attachment will not necessarily cause harm to the computer on the surface, but can allow remote access to one's computer without them knowing it. You already know not to give personal information in email, yet millions of people do.

Ellie and email is a very simple matter ... if not business, I read no more than two sentences ... then delete. Email or text should be a couple of words - that works for me. I am a phone person for any extended conversation. One man wanted to get to know me better ... or so he said. He friended me on Facebook - another healer with more issues than the people he's healing. LOL. Then he wanted to find out more through email exchanges. Like I have nothing better to do! I told him a phone call would be far more efficient. Instead. he sent me a series of voice emails each one lasting about five minutes. He pretty much told me the facts of his current situation, and never really asked about my life. In the time it took him to create these voicemails and send them ... and for me to listen to them and then type a reply or even attempt to ... we could've had a conversation ... or not. I deleted him. Take that anyway you want.

The donation ... here's something very tricky. Someone makes a one dollar donation to Crystalinks through PayPal. In return, they expect an email message from me thanking them. At that point they can change the content of the email and make it appear I am saying things that I am not. It reminds me of theft identity where people start using somebody's stolen credit card with a small $10 purchase. The banks are savvy to all of that. I no longer thank people who send a small donation in case there is an ulterior motive. Be careful.

Thursday Quickies

I've lived through some really cold winters ... but this one never seems to end. I know ... I know ... it's all part of climate changes and end times. Even if you don't believe in end times, there's no escaping the fact that really soon the planet will be unsustainable ... but that's just the tip of the iceberg. One must always be prepared even if it seems like nothing is going to happen. What happened in Atlanta yesterday could have been avoided in part, if people had just planned ahead.

We are in Aquarius - sudden and unexpected change. Mercury is about to go retrograde - expect the unexpected.

If you follow the earthquake map, you'll notice how much activity is going on in and around Greece. Then there's the north mid-Atlantic Ridge - very interesting. It's all going somewhere ... soon.

Last night on NBC nightly news - anchor Brian Williams had an interesting piece about how overworked people are today. Though the Internet and social media are supposed to expedite the way we live our lives - in truth people take their work home with them, work round-the-clock, often deal with different time zones so they work ridiculous hours, are generally overworked, lack equipment to get the job done, are beyond burned out, and the list goes on and on and on. The sad part is, it's not going to change. The program is broken, as are many, or most, of the characters with in.

Proof of the nature of reality as a mathematical construct continues. This story today from Brooklyn, NY ... I love that physicists continue to seed this information into the hologram. Physical proof will be discovered at the instant the hologram closes. Can you sense how close that is?

Have an Exit Plan

Mount Etna, Europe's most active volcano, erupted again with lava streaming down its sides and smoke rising from the crater. According to local media, the eruption began on Saturday afternoon, closing nearby Catania airport overnight.

Many impressive earthquakes in and around Greece now . The Mediterranean area is shaky.

Over in Sochi security is high. Most people do not believe an act of terrorism will occur. That is very optimistic during Mercury Retrograde.

Matt Drudge of the Drudge Report tweeted "Have an Exit Plan." (Economic warning). As I always say, be prepared.

Super Bowl Week

Super Bowl Fever is starting to warm the city as weatherman Al Roker reported dangerous weather conditions across the country affecting 80 million people. Heating bills are off the chart. Changes in work and other schedules are becoming more commonplace - but the fun must go on - energies focused on Sunday - pre and post game. People will be visiting the city for the weekend to party and watch the game either at MetLife stadium in New Jersey or at a local sports bar.

As if getting around wasn't difficult enough in the frigid temperatures, Broadway is closed from 34th St. to 47th street - Super Bowl Boulevard. Crews built a 60-foot toboggan run in Times Square. Starting Wednesday, fans can take a photo with the Vince Lombardi Trophy, kick a field goal and get autographs from former players.

At the end of the day, it's always about money. The economic boom is expected to bring an estimated $600 million to the region, though some experts say that number is a bit too high. Sports economists say the financial impact of the Super Bowl could fall far below those expectations, in part because visitors often spend their cash at NFL-sponsored or corporate events rather than at tourist attractions. Some hotels say Super Bowl bookings are running behind what they hoped for, prompting them to ease demands for minimum stays and room deposits. And academic studies show that at best, past Super Bowls generated tens of millions, not hundreds of millions.

BLACK HOLES

Event Horizons

Physicist Stephen Hawking has something new to say about black holes. Though not reversing his theory of their existence, there seems to be some question in his mind about its validity. He has to be reading articles from other physicists about time as an illusion ... space as an illusion ... all of this as an illusion ... and then trying to apply it to the concept of black holes. I see it as part of the awakening process, not only for Hawking, but for all of humanity. As we reach the end of our experience in physical time, the hologram itself is showing us - in many different ways - what it is all about. One day soon it will create an event that will allow everyone to understand who we are and why we are here.

Do black holes exist? Does an alleged event horizon pull things in ... never to be seen again ... a cosmic one-way street. Is a black hole a vehicle through which light both comes and goes though we can't see it? This of course takes us to theories of dark energy and dark matter ... or do neither of these exist and it's all just an illusion as well as a metaphor? Reality is myth, math, and metaphor set in linear time for our experience.

It goes along with my theory of reality as projected illusion emanating from a source, or void, or projector, or "black hole" as it appears black to us as it is beyond our visual spectrum.

Let's time travel back to the year 2011 and a blog I wrote about a PBS special Fabric of the Cosmos in which physicist Brian Greene presents evidence that reality is a hologram and time is an illusion. Little by little ... as the program closes ... we will see the validity of what most physicists have concluded. In Part 1 What is Space - Brian explains how reality is projected through the eye of what one would call a black hole. Please watch the video to better understand. Then read up on Stephen Hawking's lasted theory to understand how the hologram is seeding human consciousness for closure.

I spent Sunday with my friend Sherif, a physicist, who said Stephen Hawking's event horizon/black hole theory is not widely excepted in his community. Sherif works with the movement of light - Photonics. He actually agrees with my conclusions about reality.

Stephen Hawking: There Are No Black Holes   Live Science - January 26, 2014
Has Hawking changed his mind? Are black holes merely a figment of our collective imaginations? Are all those crank theories about "alternative" theories of the Cosmos true?! Fortunately not. The very basis of this burning issue is the thing that makes black holes black - the event horizon. In its most basic form, the event horizon of a black hole is the point at which even light cannot escape the gravitational clutches of the massive black hole singularity. If light cannot escape, it stands to reason that it will appear as a black sphere in space.

Stephen Hawking's new theory offers black hole escape   New Scientist - January 26, 2014
Stephen Hawking has a new mind-bending theory about black holes, the bizarre cosmic objects that cemented his reputation as the world's most famous living scientist. A group led by Joseph Polchinski of the University of California in Santa Barbara suggested information leaving a black hole would produce massive amounts of energy, creating a wall of fire at the event horizon that would consume anything falling in. This would break a rule of general relativity that says crossing a black hole's event horizon should be uneventful - hence the paradox.

California 'Octomom' pleads not guilty to welfare fraud   CNN - January 17, 2014

As Nadia Suleman's octuplets turn five today, fraud charges have been brought against her. Every once in a while I check in to see how her life is going. It's usually about the time of the children's birthdays or if she happens to be in the news. I can never figure out how she managed to raise these children with the limited help she had. Nadia checked yourself into rehab I believe in 2012, but who can blame her.

At this stage of her children's lives there is more independence. In 2014 they will all be in school full time. Hopefully at that time things will be better in her life. We all know Nadia has emotional problems. Nadia's story is very sad both for her, the children, and her parents. If Nadia goes to jail, I hope her children manage to stay together. They are too much work for her aging parents even if they have help from nannies and others.

I have always been most concerned about her autistic son who should have been placed in a home that specializes in the care of autistic children. He needs more care than all the other children put together especially now as he is getting older, bigger, and stronger. Unless you have worked with this population of children you do not know what is involved in their day-to-day care and how destructive they could be for other members of the family. Good luck Nadia!

Sometimes weather is
just weather ...

With freezing temps and many people staying home, I've been too busy with clients to blog. Stuck indoors, people want a look at what lies ahead in their lives in the short and long term.

Friday, I decided to venture out and was really surprised at how intense the cold was. Comments from people I met along the way included - "the weather feels colder each day, whether it is or it isn't it - it just seems that way." "I don't mind the cold."

People talk a lot about weather, but in all weather is just weather - it gets hot - it gets cold - as we adjust to stepped-up climate changes. Extremes are here to stay.

I hope you are staying warm wherever you are this weekend. Cold weather affects us in ways that were often not aware, so please be careful, especially as Mercury is about to go retrograde.

The highlight of my weekend is the Grammy's. Will there be jokes and tweets about Justin Bieber? Probably ... But most people know he needs help. We've all seen how this pattern turns out with other young performers.

Sperm Donor Relationship 2014

In 200,3 I wrote a blog called The Sperm Donor Relationship which is about a man and a woman karmically coming together to have a child - then once the child is born - should go their separate ways. I can't tell you how many couples have come to understand that was the nature of their relationship with a former partner.

Today, I found a story about a Sperm Donor Relationship and decided to blog about it because I have clients who had a similar experience. One client, Peter, donated his sperm for money to friends, a lesbian couple, when he was a student. Signing away all rights, he never though they would come after him years later for support and shared parenting, though he had no interest. His sperm were not only used to make his son, but the rest of his donation was frozen, then a few years later inseminated into the same woman to make a daughter. The paper signed was not drawn up by a lawyer, nor was a doctor used for the inception and so he is liable. I haven't seen him recently so have no idea how it all turned out.

Using Craig's list to find a sperm donor is risky business for many reasons. Signing documents without a lawyer can make you liable. You really need to know your responsibility level before getting started. Watch the video and always chose your partner wisely when creating a baby or you'll regret it for the next two decades.

February Sports

February is one week away and though a short month, it certainly promises to be entertaining. This year, the Academy Awards move to March 2 - leaving the month to sports.

Astrologically, we have something unique - only one moon - the full moon in Leo - then there's Mercury Retrograde during the time of the Winter Olympics - where security seems more news worthy than the athletes. Female suicide bombers ... What is this world coming to?! [Is that trick question?]

Sochi is about snow. But what about Super Bowl XLVIII played in New Jersey where ground crews are trying to keep the stuff off the field, the seats, and more at MetLife Stadium. Who picked this location and why doesn't the stadium have a dome? I must call Chris Christie's office. [Ring ... Ring ...] He's not there ... got stuck in traffic again. Not to worry sports fans ... the heat gets turned up with Superbowl commercials ... some clips already airing.

When in doubt and fearful, humans call on God to help. They believe he will, if not they feel frustrated and abandoned. Reality is not created or run by a god or pantheon of anthropomorphic gods. It's all science and math and timing. God and sports take us to this article ...

Half of American fans say 'supernatural' forces are in play during sports events   Washington Times - January 23, 2014
Just ahead of the 2014 Super Bowl, 50 percent of sports fans see some aspect of the supernatural at play in sports, meaning they either pray to God to help their team, have thought their team was cursed at some point in time, or believe that God plays a role in determining the outcome of sporting events.

I can't argue with that logic as Z often calls the plays for me before they happen. It's all about shifting consciousness grids and what we view as time travel ... and time loops.

The film Groundhog Day is about a guy named Phil who is stuck in a time loop and only he realizes it. He relives the day February 2 (2.2 = 4 = time = closure) ... over and over again ... as he tries to end the time loop. I can empathize with that. Personally I'd rather be stuck in a time loop with Teal'c and Jack.

Let the games begin ... oh they already have.

Three days before the Grammy Awards we find a lost soul named Justin Bieber - who is sinking quickly and needs some serious "time out" to find himself. Too much ... too young ... and lost in discovering who he is. He needs therapy and family intervention.

The Calm After the Storm

Outside, the sun reflects on the drifted snow, making it hard to determine how many inches fell in my area. As you can see from the rooftops across the street, some are covered in snow while others have none.

A lonely little tug boats pulls one ship into New York Harbor, while another ship looks more a still life waiting to be painted, having not moved since the storm began. It's the Polar Vortex that has us frozen in time ... until another day.

For me today is about phone readings and socializing with the neighbors I rarely see, as most work and get home late. For others, it's about taking a day off from work, a well needed day of rest. Having lived in a house for decades, on snow days, I'm always happy not to have to clear the snow away.

Talk about "Snow Jobs" ...

Last night, I watched about an hour of American Hustle ... then fell asleep for 10 hours ... the film to be completed today. No one can appreciate the opening scene as much as I did, because I lived it. There was Christian Bale, as Irving Rosenfeld, putting on his wig. The year was 1978 and he was Jewish from Long Island. At that time, I was married to Ralph and guess what he did for a living? Ralph was the best hairpiece salesman in the business - sometimes appearing on TV and doing hairpiece demonstrations in the Catskill Mountain Resorts - with a celebrity clientele. Ralph's best friend was Irving Z. from Long Island, going back to Lincoln High School in Brooklyn. My first thought while watching Irving Rosenfled was, "Ralph would never had sold him a hairpiece that bad." The rest of the film had to do with con artists and FBI stings - reminiscent of The Wolf of Wall Street set in 1987 and based on Jordan Belfort's memoirs. "American Hustle" is loosely based on the FBI ABSCAM operation of the late 1970s and early '80s.

Jordan Belfort was a great salesman and master con artist who gave-up his friends, spending three years in white collar prison in Nevada.

Irving Rosenfled was a great salesman and con artist who got immunity and didn't go jail.

Ralph Levine (January 5, 1938) was a great salesman who never cheated anyone. He was a colorful character in his own right who could sell anybody anything ... kept it legit ... but met a lot of "interesting characters" along the way. If we're talking about major con artists ... Ralph sold several hairpieces to Robert Toussie - linked to GW Bush - Robert wearing one of Ralph's Hairpieces. Ralph wound up living happily ever after in Arizona until he died of cancer because he smoked for 50 years. He still visits his family and remains full of surprises even in another dimension. He was divorced twice. He was charismatic and still is.

Bernard Madoff (April 29, 1938) is another charismatic Jewish Con Artist from NYC ... who will soon join Ralph on the other side ...

The Wolf of Wall Street

After blogging about the corporate world, and watching the award shows this month, I decided to see The Wolf of Wall Street. What a great film.

Any of these characters could be my clients. They are Mafia types taken out of "street thug scenarios" - placed in corporate America - programmed to lead a lifestyle of total debauchery - eventually getting arrested - going to a white collar prison - then getting out and going into the self-help business where many repeat the pattern.

In the film, Leonardo DiCaprio's character Jordan receives a greatly reduced sentence for his testimony serving, 36 months in a minimum security prison. After his release, he makes a living hosting seminars on sales technique. Here was have the pattern of someone leaving the corporate world to go into the healing worlds to make a living based on their past - and yet their patterns are always there though they rarely see it. Would Jordan continue to be "The Man" with all the answers who is going to "Make it Big" while womanizing, etc.? Yes... This is why I dislike self-help gurus. Most of them are dysfunctional and have terrible energies. Love and light and let's all heal and do energy work is often grossly overrated, but it is an interesting pattern in human development.

The leading female character is Naomi Lapaglia (Margot Robbie) referred to as the Queen of Bay Ridge, Brooklyn - a great depiction of the lives of many Mafia or Wall Street wives - and some of my clients. The Bimbo babe of yesteryear, is becoming extinct giving way to educated women who can take care of themselves - although they are still programmed to believe happiness comes from finding The One. Remnants of their existence can still be seen as the babes on reality shows with all their idiotic cliche issues (more clients). I love my job ...

Corporate Gender Discrimination

Fact: Female Hedge Fund investors outperformed their male counterparts for the second year in a row. This is part of a broad (pardon the pun) trend called "Womenomics" - an upcoming paradigm shift in the way individuals and companies approach work, due to an increase in value of women in the workforce and changing attitudes of women towards priorities of balancing work and personal life.

Sunday morning on the NBC show On the Money they talked about the role of woman in the investment industry and why most women shy away and allow this to be a male dominated game.

Who's better at investing - men or women? In my generation, investing was left for men, but if I could go back in time, I would be much more involved in the investments my family made, though economics was never my thing. You have to be programmed for it, but I could have learned.

I also consider the Stock Market a game where men gamble and play, and women are/were often second class citizens mostly to be tolerated or called "corporate bitches" when they try to get things done. Too much stress which brings male players from Wall Street to me for guidance. It's not an easy life style with a high burnout rate, divorce, and substance abuse. You become married to your work, which is fine if it suits your lifestyle, but for the average family person the challenges are great and often reflect antiquated systems of life.

A male and female guest on the show agreed that women today are as smart as men in business and though most of us take comfort in investing with a male broker, women can do just as good a job if not better. Women tend to feel they know less than the average investor while men tend to feel they know more. Men simply have more confidence and feel more at ease talking about investments. For me ... it's just about keeping up with trends and knowing how the games are played - remembering that life is about patterns.

Question: Will gold go up again in 2014? How high will the market go and what does that really mean? Big question - will the market crash again based on past history?

Ah ... here both men and women need to use their intuition and experience to find the answers. They need to be confident in their conclusions.

My take in any field today - both men and women can become equally qualified once educated and trained.

Tuesday morning (Monday, this week, is MLK day) - at the sound of the bell - the games begin once again.

SAG Awards

How does one pick the best of the best as each year performers do amazing jobs and scripts gets better? I don't watch dramas therefore much of the films and TV shows are unfamiliar, but by the time the awards shows are over - I am familiar with great performances by all. As with everything - winning is all about timing in the program.

The Golden Globes had interesting celebrities who were drunk much of the time, but fun nontheless.

I missed the Critics Choice Awards on Thursday which was highlighted by Sandra Bullock using the "F" word when she said WTF. The news featured a few other entertainers also using some colorful expressions - bleep - but that's real life.

Saturday night I watched the best of the award shows to far this season - the SAG awards - as celebrities honor those in their industry with a statue looking like an unclothed Greek god. There were jokes about it - one actress fondling him during her acceptance speech. Humor is the spice of life. Ladies ... Oprah looked gorgeous in purple.

Rita Moreno, 82, was the best, singing during her acceptance speech and also using the "F" word. She is the only Hispanic and one of the few performers to have won all four major annual American entertainment awards, which include an Oscar, an Emmy, a Grammy and a Tony, and was the second Puerto Rican to win an Academy Award. She was also given a special award by President GW Bush and another by President Obama.

Alas, Poor Sigmund ... I knew him well

Several researchers have concluded that Sigmund Freud was also the Pharaoh Akhenaten, Moses, and Zoroaster the Persian Prophet linked to the Sumerian Gods - which leads back to monotheism or consciousness creations. There would always be 12 above and 36 below.

Ashes to ashes ... dust to dust ... Don't touch that vacuum! Why do people save ashes anyway? Makes as much sense as reality.

If you were laying on Sigmund's couch now ... what would you say or confess?

An urn containing Freud's ashes 'dropped during a break-in'   PhysOrg - January 18, 2014
A thief who tried to steal an ancient urn containing the ashes of Sigmund Freud, the founder of psychoanalysis, from a London crematorium dropped it while trying to climb over a gate, police said. The burglar, who may have had an accomplice, forced a window at the Golders Green Crematorium on New Year's Eve, took the 4th-century BC urn from its plinth and left the building by the same means. When Freud died in September 1939, his ashes were placed in one of the numerous Greek urns in his collection of antiquities and displayed in the crematorium, which is close to his last home in Hampstead, north London.

The Full Moon in Cancer from my window this morning - set as the sun rose on a gorgeous day for January in the city.

Do you sense active alien bases on the moon? I don't. I see nothing but the Chinese lunar lander.

Off to the dentist for a cleaning. I don't do medical or dental during Mercury Retrograde (Feb.)

Think I'll take my flying car ... or maybe my UFO ... See ya' ... or not .... I might just keep going ... ready George?

Flying Cars in 2015

There's nothing I like more than flying, in a any sense of the word. It feels unnatural to be Earth bound. Forget about my Lexus. In 2015 the first flying car could go on sale. What's next? UFO's and the fun things that go with them.

Flying Cars

One of my favorite Bruce Willis save-the-world sci-fi films was The Fifth Element in which he played a taxi driver in the year 2263 where cars fly. There was also the cool scene where his lunch was delivered by an Asian man in a flying restaurant boat. That's how life should be ... faster and not grounded. You may also recall, the film featured the alien Blue Lady, a diva with a secret.

Are Comedians Crazy?

I would say comedians are conditioned to think faster than most with the normal pinch of insanity thrown in for good measure. As with anyone in the creative and performing arts, they can have the genetic code for mental illness and addiction. We know how that pattern winds up. Comedy comes from dialoguing with one or more humorous spirits. Does your so-called "spirit guide" make you laugh? Z is hilarious most of the time - a "pain in the ass" the rest of the time - and extremely powerful when he needs to be.

I love comedy as most people who know me can tell you - placing humor high on the list of emotional healing tools. I loved doing stand-up in a club in the city years ago.

So there I was folks ... last Saturday afternoon talking to a very normal female client, a teacher, white, 25, beautiful, from a good family, whose brother, Jeremy, at age 21 in university, became psychotic, heard voices in his head, tried to deal holistically to no avail, and in front of their mother jumped out of a window and died one year ago. Jeremy's spirit came to visit me before my client and her BFF - also having a reading - showed. he was humorous and so "present". not all spirits are.

When the girls showed up, i sat them down on the couch, told them to turn on the iPhones - as the 3 of us - make that 4 - talked to and about Jeremy. It is amazing to see their awareness of his presence and affirmation of what he said. Jeremy was brilliant, well loved, and a great guy. By the time we finished talking - though he did partake in the readings and may have left messages on the audio cassette tapes I use during the reading - we all felt a bond. The girls were able to sense his presence and departure - a bit of psychic development along the way, so easily obtained in today's reality frequencies.

Among the topics we all discussed - personal and general - was psychosis and how one hears voices. And so I joked, "I have been hearing spirits voices most of my life" - but this comes from a different part of the brain. Jeremy refused medications - because as most people who suffer from schizophrenia - have tried to self medicate only to get lost in that world and hopefully recovering. Jeremy had a psychotic split as his brain (computer) misfired and he took his life. Thoughts of suicide had preceded the incident. In the case of psychosis, one must be on controlled medication. People can follow holistic regimes, but the brain circuitry needs to be balanced with meds until we find another solution. Further ... psychosis begins at age 19-21 and is usually preceded by other warning signs of abnormal behavior tag begin in puberty when the hormones and brain changes though not fully developed until age 21 when symptoms physically manifest.

Back to comedy and hearing voices ... they play in our heads all the time as we dialogue with spirits - whether we know it or not. You read this blog therefore you can use what you "hear" in any manner that filters through your emotions. For me, it's funny. For those with emotional problems, it is serious and often deadly. Bottom line ... it's all in your program codes. Not much you can do about it.

Comedians have high levels of psychotic traits   BBC - January 16, 2014
Comedians have personality types linked with psychosis, like many other creative types, which might explain why they can entertain, researchers claim. The questionnaire was also completed by 364 actors - another profession used to performing - as a control group, and by a group of 831 people who worked in non-creative areas. The researchers found that comedians scored significantly higher on all four types of psychotic personality traits than the general group, with particularly high scores for both extroverted and introverted personality traits.

The four aspects measured were:

Unusual experiences (belief in telepathy and paranormal events)

Cognitive disorganization (distractibility and difficulty in focusing thoughts)

Introvertive anhedonia (reduced ability to feel social and physical pleasure, including an avoidance of intimacy)

Impulsive non-conformity (tendency towards impulsive, antisocial behavior.

Cell Phone Theater
Shooting Incident

Since we're talking about films this week ... let's segue to theaters and appropriate behavior. Theaters have rules about shutting cell phones during the movie. Have you every been in a theater when someone turned on their cell phone? How distracting was the light from where you sat? I have asked people to shut their phones. There are lobbies for that and phones should be off.

Before The Incident:

Theaters are not only the place we go to watch movies that often involve shootings, but have also become a place for shooting incidents.

"Divorce Corp."

January 14, 2014

While I'm blogging about films - I wanted to mention a documentary that premiered last Friday called, "Divorce Corp.". It talks about everything wrong with the divorce system in the US in hopes of instituting well needed changes that go along with changing society. It's another "system failure" in our reality.

If you've ever been through a divorce - you know how it taps into negative emotions you never knew you could conjure up. It brings out the worst in everyone - and in today's world sends everyone to therapy if not a brief period of substance abuse.

Why people divorce: they grow apart when their karma is complete, that karma usually involving children, abuse issues, mental illnesses, cheating, financial matters, and the real season is ... they are programmed to as a new destiny awaits.

Things we know about divorce:

There are more victims than winners.

More often than not, the winners are the lawyers.

    There are no "happy divorces".

Alimony can destroy the person providing it.

Divorce teaches people a lot about themselves.

The very thought of divorce prevents people from getting married.

I am sure there are more things to add to the list, but those are the key points.

A friend recently told me that changes in legislation are happening, but will take a very long time as the lawyers are blocking them. He believes this documentary will make a difference.

That's Entertainment - The Golden Globes

Sunday night was all about the Golden Globes (CNN full coverage) with some very interesting speeches as many of the winners seemed a bit inebriated though enjoying their moment of victory. Actress Jacqueline Bisset was literally speechless until the the music sounded the end of her acceptance speech. After taking an eternity to make it to the stage, the five-time nominee and former steamy screen siren let out a surprise "s**t", which slipped past the NBC censors, and aired live. Eyebrows continued to rise as Bisset, 69, rambled long past the "get-off-the-stage-now" music. Oh well ... even women my age can 'cuss now and again. I was amazed at just how many of us senior citizens were there and won awards. I loved Jon Voight mentioning his family in his acceptance speech, also saying he was nervous. Jon ... nervous? Doubtful. There was something off with the energies of most of the acceptance speeches, so we have to conclude it was bit too much to drink. Enjoy and congratulations to all.

Amy Poehler and Tina Fey scored once again as a great hostess team. My favorite line came from Tina when she said, "Gravity was nominated for best film. It's the story of how George Clooney would rather float away into space and die than spend one more minute with a woman his own age." (Okay... so her delivery was better ... but I'm typing the words.) There was also a great skit where Amy pretended to be Tina's illegitimate son then walked around the room asking which man was her father - deciding on Harvey Fierstein.

Speaking of films about adventures in space
Monday morning Nasa got in on the film fun with their
Astronomy Picture of the Day titled A Trip to the Moon.

What would it be like to visit the Moon? The first major fictional cinematic film exploring this enduring transcultural fantasy was titled Le voyage dans la lune (A Trip to the Moon) and made in 1902, becoming one of the most popular movies of the early years of the twentieth century. The silent film starred the filmmaker Georges Melies himself and portrayed a club of astronomers voyaging to the Moon and back. Pictured above is a frame from the movie that has become an enduring icon for both film and space. Alluding to a bullseye trajectory, the Man in the Moon is caricatured as being struck by the human-built spaceship. The entire 14-minute film is now freely available. Visiting the Moon remained a very popular topic even 67 years later in 1969 when humans first made an actual voyage.

Luckily it won't be too cold this year in NYC. The fun begins at 3pm.

The first No Pants Subway Ride Day began in New York City in 2002 with seven riders,
part of an improv group, and now includes 4 cities - New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Washington, DC.
