Friday

Focus for the next few days is on the weather and Super Bowl XLIX. People will plan parties and other events to celebrate the game as millions watch around the world - myself included. Just enjoy the game and don't be someone looking to complain about things. If you've been watching the news you know they have pretty cool things going on in Phoenix now.

Personally I am staying warm and updating the Paleontology files - a good winter project and long overdue - perhaps since B.C.E. Today Nikki and Ryan will be in Brooklyn so I get a reprieve and go out for lunch (Yeah). Not much else to report so far today as snow flurries tease outside my window.

Painting Reality

A picture is worth a thousand words, and if well placed in one's grid can evoke a thousand memories.

While updating the Paleontology files, I found the cave image above and connected. What would you paint in the cave (mind)?

Wednesday night, after posting the cave art image about ancient Mexican-Native American people called the Pericues, I had a lucid dream where I was painting something that looked like the tomb of Seti 1 above. It suddenly became real - as if a hologram. I put down my paint brush and looked at the sky - mostly the stars which created patterns. I was also shown vivid images of the Higgs Boson that was discovered on July 4, 2012 - the day my story "Sarah and Alexander" ended. I watched in awe ... and then I was gone.

When I woke up here this morning - I saw myself back in the Paleontology Lab in Brooklyn College where I did my undergraduate work. But it was not about being a student there. It was about the time I returned to that "lab" with a production crew from the Syfy Channel in 2008 to record an episode about Crystal Skulls, that sadly never aired. That year people were talking about Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull where the Crystal Skulls were 12 around 1 gray aliens trapped in a cave until the end. They reminded me of Solux who I see as a Shining One, triggering memories for me. The film mixed metaphors in a silly way, yet had a purpose ... recalling it awakening something in my consciousness. Today, I return to work on the files.

Hello Solux ... I'm baaack ... :)

Snowmageddon

January 2015 nor'easter - Blizzard of 2015 - Snowmageddon 2015

The following events took place January 25-27, 2015 ....

Sunday January 25 ... Millions of people braced for what was to be an historic storm, memories of Hurricane Sandy (October 2013), still lingering in their minds. What's interesting is the winter that followed Sandy was far worse than anything this season, yet we know the climate is changing and natural disasters are on the increase. Two weeks ago eastern Connecticut had 12 small earthquakes in 10 days which is most unusual for that area. And so we are trained to pay attention and prepare.

My friend Anna, who lives in the next building, stopped by. We talked about the impending storm. I told her I didn't see her going to work on Tuesday. Anna insisted that she was going because she takes the subway and it's underground. Still and all, I "saw" her and millions of other people home. What I didn't see was that transportation would be shut down - subways, busses, streets and roads - and silly me forgot to factor in Mercury Retrograde - problems with transportation.

NASA Satellite Image

And so it came to pass. Monday night and Tuesday morning New York City looked like something out of a sci-fi movie - quiet and desolate for everyone was told to stay off the streets. Between natural disasters and terrorism few people braved the storm unless to walk a dog or emergency workers.

Times Square Earth Cam Monday night - Broadway and Times Square is deserted

Tuesday January 27, 2015

I woke up earlier than usual to the sounds of a sanitation snowplow scrapping across the street below. From the sound of it, the snow wasn't that deep. I raced to the window, pulled back the shade and peeked out. Much to my surprise the snow was not deep as I looked at the cars across the street.

I turned on the TV and listened to my favorite weatherman describing the blizzard, how the worst had missed the city, and warning people to stay home. Forty miles to the east and beyond - Long Island and most of New England - had two feet of snow or more - the storm continuing into Tuesday evening while stopping here in the city by afternoon.

I watched brave news reporters - stationed in different areas in and around New York City - reporting on snow conditions. Throughout the day they would broadcast their experiences - most memorable a reporter in Long Island who had a woman bring him hot offer and pancakes for breakfast, a baby who decided to be born during the storm, and other stories of kindness.

One could easily see our programming to rescue and help others - the mantra for humanity. As with Hurricane Sandy in October 2013 - the memories linger and the need to brace for impact instilled in our souls. It's the moment when there will be no last minute prep-time that we need to be ready for.

Was the shutting down of the city - an obvious inconvenience for millions of people - a good or bad thing? As always in duality, it was both depending on who you ask. Most people I know we're happy to have a day off - to be home, to sleep, to catch up on things at home, to spend the day with their families, a day away from stress, some using computers to stay in touch and keep up with work from home, and many other positives.

Did those who "work the weather grids" effect the final outcome of the storm in and around the city? You know they did - pushing the storm out to sea away from the city.

In places used to bad winters, people are ready - having back-up generators, supplies, snow blowers or snowplows, and alternate ways to heat their homes. Here's the thing about snow in the city ... there is absolutely "no place" to put the snow and that's our downfall, so if we can avert (divert) a disaster, we get lucky. It can take days if not longer - depending on the weather after a storm - to get rid of the snow, whereas in other areas they know how to deal with it. Then there's the ice and black ice ... and in January little chance of warming up and the snow melting or rain washing it away.

At the end of the day in the city - where people like to complain about anything - and pontificate about what went wrong - they blamed the weatherman, city officials, and everybody else involved in the shutdown of the city. Personally I think they did the right thing with the exception of the underground subways (some are above ground). It's better to be safe than sorry, to make clean-up faster, even if people complain after the fact. It was a bad storm with high gusty winds, freezing temperatures, and no one should have been outdoors unless necessary.

And now today for Part 3 of Snowmageddon - The cleanup and aftermath as life resumes and on we go to the next major event Super Bowl XLIX where the Patriots escaped Snowmageddon but still deal with the investigation of Delfate-gate.

Monday - Blizzard of 2015

Weather takes center stage as a major storm - a blizzard of historic proportions - changes the lives and schedules of millions of people in its path - rippling out to others connected to those in affected areas. Recently, neighbors and I had commented that there had been little snow this winter, but here comes the big one. Anything over 6 inches in the city cripples transportation and with Mercury retrograde (transportation and communication) this should be interesting. Snow days are not what they used to be as assignments are posted online. I'll post pictures from Brooklyn as things develop.

Clients: Over the next few days, my clients are phone readings with people who live in areas not affected by the storm. Focus this month has been on career as job requirements and descriptions change from year to year and sometimes every 6 months. The patterns are the same - workers settling for less money, keeping up one's skills, shorten the resume, know where reality is headed in your field, most companies will hire someone younger for less money if they can. You have to keep reinventing yourself.

-

Relationships: People want functional (fictional) partners ... maybe. They want hot partners ... and that chemistry to last ... maybe. They don't want to commit ... so don't. Same issues ... taken into 2015 venues.

-

Election 2016: There are many people stepping up to say they would consider running for president - it's like watching old TV reruns and knowing no one will never make change. Many of these potential candidates are seniors who simple have nothing better to do.

Super Bowl XLIX

The Patriots played with deflated balls ... which took a lot of balls. You will be hearing endless jokes about balls from now until the Super Bowl XLIX and maybe beyond. We are all going to have a ball with this. I don't think Brady or coach Bill Belichick did it, but Brady had to have felt the difference from the start. Pro football certainly had seen its share of dramas this season. Super Bowl XLIX commercial previews have begun and look very cool. Tickets for the game go for $3,950.

Rain

Why Rain Gives Off That Fresh, Earthy Smell   Live Science - January 22, 2015
Walk through the first rainstorm of the season and it slowly hits you: that fresh, earthy smell. Before it hits the ground, rain is just water. It has no smell. But after the drops hit the ground and interact with dirt, the fresh and almost sweet fragrance of rain is let go. Now, scientists think they've identified the exact mechanism that releases this aroma into the environment. The smell actually has a name. It's called "petrichor," from the Greek words "petra," meaning "stone," and "ichor," which refers to the fluid that flows like blood in the veins of the gods. The phenomenon was first characterized (as the familiar smell after a light rain) by two Australian scientists in 1964, but until now, researchers didn't understand the physical mechanism behind it.

Crystal Clear

As you know, before a client comes for reading, I decide what color to wear based on what I "see" them wearing, or something linked to their energies. Most of the time I am spot on. Sunday, I thought to wear a specific color of blue/green (not turquoise) which told me the client was either in the medical profession, a healer, or had medical problems. As I reached for my blue/green top I heard, "No. You have to wear navy and your sapphire and diamond necklace." Puzzled, I listened and changed - besides, navy has always been a favorite color linked to end times for me. (It comes out of the blue, fade to black, you know the metaphors).

The client arrived shortly thereafter, and, lo and behold, was wearing the blue/green color I had originally put on. She is a doctor who lost her mom two weeks ago, which I assumed linked to the heart jewelry and chakra. It wasn't long before her mother arrived at our reading. We laughed and chatted and spent a long time in discussion about her life and reality.

Then, her mother did something very interesting ... she showed me the image of this crystal with Solux just above my head and said, "This is how you look to me now." That was indeed strange for how would she know about the crystal and ETs and more. Yet there she was, conjuring up memories of the day I realized that for decades when close my eyes, I saw the head (eyes) of a gray alien staring back at me - recently realizing I was looking at a mirror reflection or another aspect of my soul. That was all cool, but I wanted more.

This takes us to an article posted Tuesday with a hand holding a diamond (that references the Sacred Geometry of our reality in case you missed the memo). There are also an unusually large number of articles about aliens this week. It's about finding the truth about our origins. I hope Mulder and Scully return soon. They've been missed. As for me, the endless facets of reality become more crystal clear each day. Check out the eyes of the person holding the crystal below. You know they always chose blue eyed people. (giggle) The article is about everything being perfect.
