Speaking of "The City" ... This is going t bring all kinds of congestion. For years ...make that decades ... they have been expanding the Staten Island Expressway. and never seem to finish ... Hurry up boys ... the clock is ticking. It is currently 3 lanes in each direction- not sure what they plan as the end result. Think about the money the bridges will make. It now cost $15 to cross the Verrazano Bridge. Glad I live in Brooklyn. What traffic chaos this will bring.

New York City has given final approval to a $320 million project to build the world's tallest Ferris wheel, expected to pull in four million visitors a year. Besides the wheel, there will be a $260 million retail, hotel and restaurant complex expected to create thousands of jobs and boost the island's economy. Earmarked to open in 2016, it will be able to carry 1,440 people in 36 capsules on a 38-minute breathtaking journey curving up into the sky and down.
