Spooky Full Super Moon over the Verrazano Bridge ... Halloween is two weeks away.
The October 16 Full Moon kicks off three straight months of supermoons - you can also catch them on Nov. 14 and Dec. 14. The November moon is set to be a real show-stopper: According to NASA, it is "not only the closest full moon of 2016 but also the closest full moon to date in the 21st century." I'm not sure what this Super Moon is stirring up but I woke up to endless email and invitations, etc. It all started when I looked out early this morning and saw the Super Moon smiling at me so I had to take a pic and video. Just getting around to updating here. So here we go ... Wait ... I just remembered ... It's almost Scorpio which brings stirs things up for me every year.

This week we continue the election saga with another debate on Wed. - DVR not set. It's almost over. Taking time to make videos and play with friends, family, and clients. Wed. night is the next presidential debate, but I don't plan to watch or record it. Will get the highlights Thursday on the news. The way it looks Trump loses - starts a media enterprise and Americans face life with Hillary Clinton as president Ð not a pretty picture of the future and will definitely cause chaos of the physical kind.
Battle for Mosul: Iraqi forces inflict 'heavy losses' on ISIS CNN - October 17, 2016
This reminds me of the invasion of Normandy ... After months of planning, the Iraqi government began a battle to retake Mosul from the Islamic State this morning. About one million people remained in the city, the second-largest in Iraq, which lent credence to the militant group's claim of ruling a fledgling nation. Separately, Syrian rebels say they have forced ISIS fighters out of a village where the group had promised to fight an apocalyptic battle with the West.
North Carolina -- The police in North Carolina are investigating the firebombing of the Republican Party headquarters in Hillsborough, along with graffiti warning its members to flee town. A week after the storm passed, the slow motion disaster is still dumping misery. The US death toll now stands at 46, 26 in North Carolina alone. 200 residents of an apartment complex rescued themselves from the floodwaters when help didn't arrive.
