ORION

Orion is often associated with creation, aliens, and much more that you read about in your journey into awareness. Many people have past life memories of living on Orion as either great warriors or scientist who came to Earth to create humanity. In the Isis-Osiris mythos - Osiris is associated with Orion and Isis with Sirius. The Belt of Orion aligns with the pyramids on the Giza plateau. Today, Orion is the name of the spacecraft pictured above, that opened up a new chapter in our exploration of space. It all seems so primitive to me.

From APOD Saturday: Orion Launch: Headed for two orbits of planet Earth and a splashdown in the Pacific, Orion blazed into the early morning sky on Friday at 7:05am ET. The spacecraft was launched atop a United Launch Aliance Delta IV Heavy rocket from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. Its first voyage into space on an uncrewed flight test, the Orion traveled some 3,600 miles from Earth, about 15 times higher than the orbital altitude of the International Space Station. In fact, Orion traveled farther into space than any spacecraft designed for astronauts since the Apollo missions to the Moon. The Orion crew module reached speeds of 20,000 miles per hour and temperatures approaching 4,000 degrees Fahrenheit as it re-entered Earth's atmosphere about 4.5 hours after launch.

Justice or Injustice?

Protesters swarmed midtown Manhattan and cities around the US in a second night of largely peaceful protests following the decision not to indict a white New York police officer over the death of Eric Garner. The video of the incident played in various media venues and over social media, as if a reminder of how unjust the system is. I have to wonder if people consider the cruelty to white prisoners by white policemen or what goes on in the prison system.

Thursday night, thousands of marchers proceeded in waves throughout the city, with one group stopping traffic as they marched from Manhattan to Brooklyn over the Brooklyn Bridge, and some carrying fake coffins with the names of police shooting victims. This is not the area of Brooklyn where I live, so all was peaceful here.

Groups also congregated at Times Square and the Staten Island ferry terminal. Protests began during the evening rush hour and the number taking part grew as the night progressed. Many staged so-called "die-ins" at road intersections and were moved along by police in riot gear. A number of arrests were observed by media. Hopefully they will remain non violent and not a repeat of Ferguson. It doesn't take many frustrated angry people - black or white - at this time of the year - to stir up trouble especially Saturday night on the full moon.

Goodbye Y: Men Who Smoke Have Missing Male Chromosomes   Live Science - December 5, 2014
Add another troubling side effect to the list of health issues caused by cigarettes: Smoking may cause the Y chromosome to disappear from men's blood cells. A new study finds that men who smoke lose the Y chromosome in blood cells more frequently than nonsmokers - and the heavier their cigarette use is, the fewer Y chromosomes they have. This Y chromosome loss could explain why male smokers are at higher risk of cancer than female smokers, the researchers said in their study.

Justice

The sun will shine on the city for the first time this week, only to return to rain by Friday evening and into the weekend. We should be grateful the temperatures aren't cold enough for snow or we would be buried. People go outdoors when the weather is milder with an emphasis today on protests after the Eric Garner decision. Hopefully they will be non violent and not a repeat of Ferguson. It doesn't take many frustrated angry people - black or white - at this time of the year - to stir up trouble especially Saturday night on the full moon.

December 6, 2014 - Full Moon 14° Gemini

New Yorkers sat down in Times Square late Wednesday, filling the streets and sidewalks. In the ambient light of its high-rising video walls and colorful advertisements, they immortalized some of Eric Garner's last words. "I can't breathe! I can't breathe!" chanting in unison. Protesters have already taken to the streets this morning, marching across the Brooklyn Bridge though I see nothing on the Verrazano which Brooklyn to connects Staten Island the scene of Garner's death. You can follow events on the news. At the end of the day we look at the events in the world and notice the ongoing injustices that occur.

Meniscus

If you had asked me what the word meniscus meant this past summer, I wouldn't have had a clue. Suddenly everyone is telling me that they've torn their meniscus and it's very painful. This is not just about seniors but people in all age groups who overdo it when it comes to exercise. If it's not the meniscus it's something else that results in knee or other injuries due to over straining the body without consideration of one's age or weight. I know that many people exercise to get rid of pent-up energies especially if they are are ADHD. Others play sports though not often physically equipped for the exercise involved and there goes their meniscus. If you overwork any part of the body long enough, even the emotions, they will crash.

I decided to post this blog after my friend Lorraine, in Staten Island, called to tell me she is waiting for a call from her doctor about repairing her meniscus. How did she hurt it? She decided to go on a diet and exercised too hard - like a boot camp thing for 20 days. Bad idea. To lose weight find a diet you can stick to and stay with it. Lorraine also said that things are quiet in Staten Island so far, since the Garner decision.

This is what the meniscus patients are complaining about ... In anatomy, a meniscusis a crescent-shaped fibrocartilaginous structure that, in contrast to articular disks, only partly divides a joint cavity. In humans they are present in the knee .Read more ...

The Gift

Wednesday's wake up dream. ..

I was somewhere getting ready to teach a workshop about the hologram. Out of the blue, an old friend named Chelsea walked up to say hello. Though she taught many workshops here in the city she currently lives in San Diego, yet I did not feel that was a reference marker in my dream as to where I was teaching. It felt local, perhaps Manhattan.

I saw myself in a small room with a very nice group of people who were helping me set up tables and chairs.

Out of the blue, the crowd grew larger and larger which took me aback. Who were all these people, including children, and why were they there?

I decided the room was too small and requested a huge auditorium space which was immediately set up for my workshop.

As people filed into the auditorium there was laughter and fun and still this feeling of confusion on my part about what attracted them to the class but I was too busy setting things up that I didn't stop to ask.

An engineer arrived and hooked up a sound system so the huge number of people could hear me. I can still see him setting everything up. (Maybe that has greater meaning - like harmonics).

Finally the endless crowd settled in and I started to explain about the hologram as they sat silently listening.

I'm not sure how long I talked but it seemed to be very quick or at least from my perspective time passed very quickly.

As I came to the end of the class, suddenly the roof of the auditorium opened and the grids were shown to everyone who oohed and aahed.

Then something magical happened as if Christmas surrounded all of us. Everyone was given a handful of sparkling diamonds on black velvet.

Then I woke up ...

There are many metaphors in the dream. Chelsea and I met when I hosted a huge event for Bill Cooper in Manhattan years ago. Afterwards, we all met up for dinner and Chelsea introduced me to the concept of Sacred Geometry - diamonds - above and below, etc..

The feeling when I woke up was ... we are coming into total understanding of the nature of reality and I had done my part.

Justice

Everything is subjective as all is about projected illusion which varies from person to person and moment to moment. This is why surveillance is so important - though even that can get corrupted in our judicial system - one more example of how the hologram doesn't work. Few systems work anymore and it is getting worse.

This year we looked at the cases of 4 black males - football player Ray Rice, the deaths of Michael Brown, and closer to home Eric Garner. --- NYC Police Commissioner William Bratton Meets Officials on Staten Island Ahead of Eric Garner Grand Jury Decision. With emotions raw in the aftermath of the Michael Brown decision, will things go postal in NYC just over the bridge and perhaps rippling into Bay Ridge?

Eyewitness Testimony is Far From Perfect   Live Science - December 1, 2014
Twenty eyewitnesses testified before the grand jury investigating the police shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri. None of these accounts is fully consistent with any other. Moreover, eyewitnesses even gave accounts that do not agree with their own earlier versions. To the public and the media, these discrepancies have been startling. But psychological scientists who study human perception and memory are not surprised at all. In fact, had there been good agreement among the various witnesses, psychological scientists would have been very suspicious and speculated that something was amiss. Those of us who study eyewitness memory have long observed that these accounts are far less reliable than people - including the eyewitnesses themselves - tend to believe.

Wanderers

Previously on Crystalinks ...

Scott Mandelker was a guest speaker in my home talking about "Wanderers". It was the 1990's when many people explored the concept of Walk-Ins and Wanderers which we now understand as alternate experiences one's soul is having and that none of us are from here (physical reality). Scott had written a book called From Elsewhere describing the feeling of being an alien from another planet who has wandered here at this time in Earth's planetary transition back to light. In it he stated that Wanderers are thought of as souls connected to another place, planet, or realm, who have come here on a mission, after which they will return home. That is true of all souls in this experiment, though Wanderers often feel disassociated. They do not always remember what their mission is, as the 'mission feeling' is present in the DNA codes of all humans. Sometimes Wanderers believe they have come here to prepare humanity for coming changes - perhaps a visit from ET's or moving into love and light, etc.

All souls are programmed as Wanderers in this biogenetic consciousness experiment, experiencing in many realities simultaneously. It ends at Zero Point when all souls leave the physical and return to higher consciousness as soul sparks of light. Fade to Black.

Fun With Clients and Spirits

Sunday November 30, 2014

This photo was taken today by a client named Megan, 30, from Brooklyn, who also has a white Samsung Galaxy Note 4. I record my in-person sessions on an old fashioned cassette player but encourage clients to also use their cell phones or other recording devices. Seeing Megan's phone inspired me to take out my phone and snap a few pics again. We really had fun doing this, the humor translating into her reading. I like to have fun with clients, especially those who come here. It's sort of magical for most. During Megan's session, both sets of her grandparents were here which added to the experience. They came and announced themselves to me, I knew their names, etc. and off we went.

The 9 Year

The 9 year in Numerology is about transition, endings, and closures. Anything started in a 9 year will last for the short term - from projects, to relationships, etc. It is the year to get rid of ... to clean house of things that will not be part of your next cycle. Whether you realize it or not there will be endings, either forced upon you, such as the ending of a bad relationship, or willingly let go with the knowledge it is time to move on. It is the year you can't control things easily - you have to let life happen. The more you pursue ... the more it will move away from you. For some it's a terrible year - for me not so much as I plan for it and understand the energies.

2015 will be my 9 year (2+17+2015). I'll be 72=9. My life path is 9. That's a lot of 9's - a triple whammy. I don't expect to die or anything as dramatic as that, but perhaps my purpose for being here - the closure of the hologram - will show itself and we Fade to Black or something cool. I will also finish my diet with a goal weight of 130 pounds and remaining healthy as I have no health issues. I don't feel 72. I still wake up each morning and look at the world through the same eyes (consciousness) as I have the past 72 years. At my age there are no major goals in a 9 year, just allowing it to play out and keep balanced.

My black velvet jacket, pictured above, might be a symbolic representation of my 9 year, as those are my colors. The jacket is 18 (9) years old, hardly ever worn, and most likely out of style. This winter my choices were ... wear it or throw it away. It was the last article of clothing stashed away in my closet, that I took out last week. It's actually the warmest jacket I own and has a hood - a must for me as I never wear hats. I'm ready!

Hello and Welcome to my
Thanksgiving Blog

I had the most amazing Thanksgiving in Westport yesterday. Because of the bad weather on Wednesday I decided I would take Metro-North up to Nikki and Ryan's house on Thursday morning. Along the way I sat next to an actress with interests in nutrition who happens to live with a man who worked with Nikki remaining close friends over the years. She sat down next to me, not by accident, and it wasn't long before we started to talk only to discover our connection. She texted her boyfriend and I texted Nikki ... soon we were all talking on our one hour train ride to Westport.

Our family reunion was filled with the laughter of children, preparing the dinner, great food, visits by neighbors and friends, and of course a game of football in the backyard, and sports on TV. I had a ride home topping off a beautiful perfect day. When you think about the troubles in the world, I have much to be grateful for in 2014. I took a few photos and posted them here. I hope you are enjoying your holiday. As to Black Friday ... I hope you find some great bargains if venturing out.

Happy Thanksgiving

What will many people remember about Thanksgiving this year - the situation in Ferguson as it affects them and it's ripple effect across the country, the weather, holiday celebrations, and more. I'll be with family in CT and really look forward to it. Thank goodness for Amazon as I mailed games for the younger children ahead. My daughter Tracy in AZ, and her family, are working at a charity event serving food to the poor. Later they will join friends for dinner. It was my grandson Vanni, 14, who made the suggestion after hearing about it in High School. It's a great way to give back and see that no matter how bad things are in your life, others are in worse situations. It's not easy living here. Every day I am thankful for everything in my life.

Ferguson Decision: It won't be a happy thanksgiving for many who feel passionate about the death of Michael Brown and the grand jury's verdict. Injustice: Bill Cosby is guilty and more women will come forward. Some of his victims may already be deceased. This will also ripple to incidents by other men that went unreported for a long time and now women will speak up and others will follow. Isn't it interesting how the hologram still allows people to ignore what Cosby has done and attend his. That won't last long. It's all about timing.

Travel Chaos: For many parts of the country, the weather takes center Wednesday as people face the chaos of holiday travel. Be safe. Watching local updates.

Job Chaos: Workers everywhere are finding their situation no longer makes sense for any number of reasons. This has existed for a long time, but now people are losing it. Is anything about most work situations just and fair or functional? No, and it's a domino effect. When one aspect of a work situation doesn't work, everything around it breaks down.

Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

It's Thanksgiving week. As people travel, plans are made, reunions are had, many battle the climate, holiday bargains are everywhere, and more. Black Friday is becoming a myth as bargain shopping begins earlier and earlier each year. There's just been too much pressure and craziness for shoppers in the past to not make changes. There's celebrations, entertainment, football, and hopefully something for each of my reader to be thankful for.

Each weekend as I archive blogs from the previous week - and delete the news from Ezine - it's as if they were part of something in another space-time that disappear from mind as we move to the next set of experiences. We seem to be processing faster and faster. 2014 is almost over. Most people ask, "Where has the year gone?" Personal and world situations go on and on ... sometimes haphazardly ... until it all stops.

Did anybody watch The Newsroom last night? Guess what they talked about ... the world ending .. as see-through the eyes of scientists. The characters could never agree or disagree as we the audience are left to reflect on the truth. Most people I know realize where this is going, but the question is how soon? Watch the episode if you can.

Review of that segment ....First, I'm fairly certain Aaron Sorkin and executive producer Paul Lieberstein (who played Deputy Assistant Admin. Richard Westbrook) wouldn't air something like that if it wasn't mostly true. They've never consciously lied to us before, and I don't think they'd start now. That being said, I am by no means a climate change expert, and I'm not going to pretend to be one by researching a bunch of various websites for validation as to Westbrook's claims. What I can promise you is that this scene sparked as much conversation in the real world as it did in the fictional one inhabited by Will, Mac and the rest of the ACN crew. As soon as those conversations start to happen, I will update this posting with links to relevant websites and experts. As for now, please consult the EPA's official, real website for more information about how we can save the planet - or at least prepare for post-apocalyptic society. Read more ...

Gay in Country Music

I celebrated my 70th birthday in Nashville where I met actor, singer, and musician Chris Carmack co-star of the hit TV series Nashville. Chris plays Will Lexington a rising country star struggling with the fact that he is gay, which would not sit well with the country and western community.

Thursday, the same night Nashviile airs, 52-year-old country and western singer Ty Herndon and singer Billy Gilman came out. Ty Herndon announced first. He had an immediate impact on double-platinum country artist Billy Gilman, who, hearing of Herndon's move, came out in a YouTube video on Thursday as well. At the end of the day ...most people have always figured out when someone is gay.

I wonder how this will affect Chris Carmack's character on Nashville. If fans turn against gay country singers, as they have with other performers who came out, then so be it. People will have to take a long hard look at their own prejudices. This is just one of an endless list of challenges in which we are gaining understanding and making inroads. There are people in the world who have never met anyone who is gay and do not understand the dynamic of the whole experience. It's all about duality - so there will be positives and negative.

There will be other country performers who will soon come out in the aftermath of this announcement. Give it time. Ty and Billy have definitely opened the door to the future of country music. Let's give them lots of credit and support. It's time and part of the program. Straight or gay, humans do the whackiest things in relationships then go on to write and sing about them. We are a crazy species filled with too much judgment, fear, and anger using every opportunity to vent. Let it all go.

'UFO' Discovered (Sigh) In Apollo 12 Photograph, 45 Years Later   Huffington Post - November 18, 2014

The European Space Agency's comet lander might have died after just three days - but as we know, data recovered from space can yield insights long after the mission itself is over. Take Apollo 12, for instance. You might think that the second manned mission to the Moon - while remarkable even now - has given up all of the scientific secrets we could expect over the last 45 years. Well not so, according to the UFO community, who claim to have spotted something unusual in the depths of one of the photos from the mission.
