Flight MH17

Accusations, blame fly as investigators seek answers in MH17 crash   CNN - July 18, 2014
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk on Friday blasted the "terrorists" he blamed for shooting down Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 over Ukraine a day earlier, with 298 people aboard.

MH17 crash: Ukraine rebels 'to allow access to site'   BBC - July 18, 2014
Both the Ukrainian government and rebels have denied downing the plane.

We play out our battles on many landscapes and in the end is any of it worth it? 298 people died yesterday - very sad. Loss is a major factor in the human equation no matter how it is presented.

Once again the conspiracy people will have a go at this. Several feel that missing Malaysian flight MH370 is tied to the latest incident. They report knowledge of MH370 either shot down or landing somewhere, the crew and passengers murdered, and the plane used for .... Conspiracy is not my thing.

Thursday evening, the USA Network premiered a new series called Satisfaction. Thinking it was another show about couples and their issues I was going to pass on it till I read that the lead character, Neil Truman, is played by Australian actor Matt Passmore who I liked in The Glades.

I must say I was pleasantly surprised to see the "twists and turns" in the show - not to mention the sex. What I really liked was the way they approached the issues of middle aged couples and what's going on in their lives today making them more relatable for the viewers. I think readers of this blog - who are sick of corporate life - will love Neil's rebellious moments and the twist that happens at the end. The premiere lasted over an hour making it more of a film than a TV show. I doubt they can keep this kind of momentum going ... but as with all things in life ... we shall see. USA reruns their shows ... so look for it ... record it ... try it ... or delete.

Irony: Like most people, Neil Truman goes in search of his spiritual purpose - something that makes him "feel". Along the way he finds a Zen master played by actor Tzi Ma - who just appeared in the season finale of "24: Live Another Day" as the man who tried to assassinate Chloe and start WWIII ... not to mention other horrific things he previously did to Jack ... who beheads him in the end.

Memos and Memorabilia

Thursday my daughter Nikki and her family moved to their new house in Westport, CT.

Here's Noah helping the movers with his favorite things - soccer net - basketball hoop.

Did someone throw out something valuable by mistake? A guy can't be too careful ...

Monday the family is picking up Noah's brother Matthew from summer camp.

While packing, Nikki found photos of me in my 40's.
She took pictures with her cell phone. I decided to post them for fun.
None of the pictures were photoshopped.

Remembering JFK Jr. 15 Years After His Death

July 16, 2014

Today marked the 15th anniversary of the death of JFK Jr. - another Kennedy family member to meet a tragic end. Where were you when his body was found? I was reading a female client, while her friend watched TV in my office before her reading. Suddenly I saw JFK Jr. standing in the room next to my first client and wondered why. After the reading, her friend told us about the tragic accident at sea. I looked over and saw Jacqueline Kennedy, not as a spirit, but as a "paper cut-out" as if on a billboard. This allowed me to know that her energies were now part of the collective unconscious.

John Fitzgerald Kennedy, on some level understood the flow of the collective unconscious and how we are all connected in the hologram. He said, "We are tied to the ocean. And when we go back to the sea, whether it is to sail or to watch - we are going back from whence we came."

Naked Reality

Today people do some really crazy things to meet a partner. There's social networking, online dating, speed dating, and various social events that hopefully will bring someone meaningful into their lives. Reality shows, which we know are staged, are also going to some interesting extremes to attract an audience and help people find love.

There's a whole lot of "naked reality shows" on TV now complete with blurring and more blurring. The latest one is called Dating Naking.

These days we're supposed to be more connected than ever, but it's actually harder than ever to truly connect. Online dates, blind dates, and the latest in ridiculous dating apps all make it hard to see people for who they really are. A new social experiment provides daters with a radical dating experience where before they bare their souls they bare everything else first. Each week on a primitive island resort, far from the masks of modern society, daters will go on exotic dates and be naked every step of the way. We will follow along as two primitive daters each go on a total of three naked dates, including their first date with each other. At the end of this experience they'll choose which of their naked dates they would like to continue dating back home. Clothing will of course be optional. Naked daters will bare their soul and a whole lot more in this groundbreaking dating experiment.

There's also Buying Naked on TLC - not exactly how one should go shopping.

The Discovery Channel features Naked and Afraid.
