This is the 5th anniversary of "Run For The Fallen" - sponsored by Fort Hamilton - honoring servicemen who died since 9/11.
This woman lost her son in Afghanistan.
You can see my apartment - the building on the right - top floor.
The energies in the park drew my attention so I went to investigate.

Meet Lee Anderson former Deputy Commander at Fort Hamilton from 1987-1992.
Lee was in charge of the food - bagels fruit, water - at the event.
As it turns out we both taught at Fort Hamilton High School in the 1990's - Lee retiring in 2014.
