Sunday - The Week in Review

Last week was another whirlwind ride from Hurricane Harvey, that is still in motion, to the ongoing actions, decisions, and diversions created by President Trump we have come to expect. Stay safe.

People united for the Great American Solar Eclipse - for some a fun time - others reporting a spiritual moment. We remember and move on ...

A feeling of unity could also be found at rallies and other meetings across the nation as people find their voice and seek ways to make things better for themselves and their communities. The masses have always risen up in times of consciousness shift, so now we see where this is rapidly heading. Nothing moves slowly any more.

In sports Floyd Mayweather Beat Conor McGregor by 10th-Round TKO as both men went home financial winners. Here at home, the Giants beat the Jets last night as we move closer to the start of the pro-football season next week (Sept. 7). Lots of different sports to watch if you are a fan. Again the energies unite.

For those who like to gamble - but not on sports - we have the lottery. Last week Mavis Wanczyk landed the largest single lottery jackpot ever in the United States - $758.7 million. Wanczyk's did what most winners do, which is take a lump sum up front, so she'll collect $480.5 million all at once.

As the never ending parade of award shows continues - tonight we find the Video Music Awards - VMAS . Since I'm not a fan of reality TV - I'll record the show and watch selected performance as time permits. Just as we noted with the fake dramas between Mayweather and McGregor - we see the same algorithm playing out between several of the female singers that will appear tonight. It's all staged. It's the "bitch concept" that dysfunctional people seem to embrace. Isn't the Trump presidency another reality series that keeps the country enthralled in its weekly dramas?

Over in Black Rock Desert people prepare for the annual Burning Man Festival (August 27 - September 4, 2017) - unity again of like-minded souls - usually highly creative. The conversations this year should be extremely interesting based on the state of the world. I received my first email from someone out of California who said a major topic of concern is North Korea.
