In my book 2012 Sarah and Alexander, Sarah's last name is Manning - the Mannings being her family with an intertwined bloodline dating back to the beginning of time and a destiny that only our hero, Sarah, can handle. Sarah is the middle of three sisters. The book went through many revisions. In an earlier version, there was a chapter called "The Mannings of Manhattan."
It's now 2010 and we come to another set of Manning siblings - Peyton and Eli both famous football quarterbacks. So why are they in the news? Sunday night I watched as the NY Giants (Eli) were defeated by the Indianapolis Colts (Peyton) in what some labeled the "Manning Bowl".
