I watched some of the Academy Awards last night but find it faster to see the show the next day when I can quickly search through the highlights. The best was Meryl Streep - her speech, her energies, everything about that lady is a class act. So glad she won last night.

The clothing: I loved Jennifer Lopez's dress best of all, though Angie would look amazing in anything. Glad to see Billy Crystal back and funny as always. They all genuinely seemed to be having fun. Didn't miss the elaborate musical extravaganzas they used to produce.
With the Grammy Awards earlier this month, the Golden Globes last month - among others - I think I've had enough of award shows for now. People love to be accepted, recognized, and honored - as do we all - for our efforts - no matter how big or small they may be. It makes it all worth while and says you made a difference - which is the name of the game.
When you get to know performers, writers, and production people - you understand their heartfelt dreams and extremely hard work. It's about the messages that make us think about who we are and imagine the impossible. My world generally goes to sci-fi which rarely if ever gets awards but we all find meaning in the creative process as someone out there brings the story we need to embrace - to the screen. And with that, special moments of a film we have seen replays in our minds and remains indelibly engraved upon our hearts forever.
Lots of winners and great performances in 2011 - most tapping into the dramas one faces in life and how to deal with challenges ... to make a difference. We know Hollywood has changed - everything has changed - you have changed - as have I - as we continue to learn and grow for as long as this experience lasts.
On the home front - clients who have studied metaphysics for years - finding their purpose within - now have to refocus on physical reality. With that, many fear if they remove themselves from the metaphysical community, they will miss something - some great epiphany they have long been waiting for. Not so. The journey needs to move back and forth between all realities. At the end of time - programmed within each person's DNA - is an end time code. The journey is to overcome fears and perhaps issues - know how the game is played - and that all good things come to those who wait.
Let's face it - after all we've been through here - each of us deserves an award.
