Angkor Discovery

One of my favorite files on Crystalinks - due to its powerful mystical and spiritual energies - is Angkor Wat, a temple complex located at Angkor, Cambodia. You may recall scenes from the Angelina Jolie 2001 film Lara Croft: Tomb Raider shot on location there and how she later returned to adopt her oldest son Madox. Today we find ...

'Lost' Medieval City Discovered Beneath Cambodian Jungle   Live Science - June 19, 2013

A lost city known only from inscriptions that existed some 1,200 years ago near Angkor in what is now Cambodia has been uncovered using airborne laser scanning. The previously undocumented cityscape, called Mahendraparvata, is hidden beneath a dense forest on the holy mountain Phnom Kulen, which means "Mountain of the Lychees." The cityscape came into clear view, along with a vast expanse of ancient urban spaces that made up Greater Angkor, the large area where one of the largest religious monuments ever constructed - Angkor Wat, meaning "temple city" - was built between A.D. 1113 and 1150. The lost city of Mahendraparvata revealed in a shaded relief map of terrain beneath the vegetation in the Phnom Kulen acquisition area. Green denotes previously documented archaeological features; areas shaded red contain newly documented features indicative of an extensive urban layout.

Airborne laser technology has uncovered a network of roads and canals, illustrating the remains of a bustling ancient city linking Cambodia's famed Angkor Wat temples complex. The discovery was announced late on Monday in a peer-reviewed paper released early by the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences journal. The laser scanning revealed a previously undocumented formal urban planned landscape integrating the 1,200-year-old temples. The Angkor temple complex, Cambodia's top tourist destination and one of Asia's most famous landmarks, was constructed in the 12th century. Angkor Wat is a point of deep pride for Cambodians, appearing on the national flag, and was named a Unesco world heritage site. Archaeologists had long suspected that the city of Mahendraparvata lay hidden beneath a canopy of dense vegetation atop Phnom Kulen mountain in Siem Reap province. But the airborne lasers produced the first detailed map of a vast cityscape, including highways and previously undiscovered temples.

The technology, known as lidar, works by firing laser pulses from an aircraft to the ground and measuring the distance to create a detailed, three-dimensional map of the area. It is a useful tool for archaeologists because the lasers can penetrate dense vegetation and cover swaths of ground far faster than they could be analysed on foot. Lidar has been used to explore other archaeological sites, such as Stonehenge. Archaeologists had already spent years doing ground research to map a 3.5 sq mile section of the city's downtown area. But the lidar revealed the section was much bigger -- at least 14 sq miles -- and more heavily populated than once believed. Researchers do not yet know why the civilization at Mahendraparvata collapsed. But Evans said one current theory is that possible problems with the city's water management system may have driven people out. The next step for researchers involves excavating the site, which Evans hopes will reveal clues about how many people once lived in the city.

Earth Calling E.T.: New Project Begins Beaming Your Messages Into Deep Space
Live Science - June 19, 2013

In 18 years, messages beamed out into space from Earth by a new alien-messaging project Monday (June 17) will reach a distant star system known as Gliese 526. Officials with the Lone Signal project - a newly launched website designed to send user-written notices to any extraterrestrials who may receive them - hope that their messages might open the first dialogue between Earth and other intelligent life forms. One of the company's first message beamed to the Gliese 526 system, located 17.6 light-years from Earth was sent by famous futurist Ray Kurzweil and reads: "Greetings to Gliese 526 from Singularity University. As you receive this, our computers have made us smarter, the better to understand you and the wisdom of the universeÉ"

"We need to switch carriers. The Americans are spying on us again!"

Details continue to unfold concerning country to country eavesdropping, not to mention listening in on its citizens. Today, thanks to the insertion of technology in this timeline - the average citizen gets to see the truth unveiled. Do you remember the metaphysical blogs about the "veils" being lifted? It was about the veil in sur"veil"lance. Information today is veiled in the "clouds".

Sunday in Connecticut I meet some very interesting people who hold money and power. One thing everyone agreed on - the world has gone crazy. Did I mention my theories to them? No. As with most people - when they are programmed to get it - they will. Along with the truth will come a Major Event ... the first domino that catalyzes the end. There are those who believe its connected to extraterrestrial interaction, but I don't see it. At this point in the timelines - if ETs are watching and not helping - they are not the good guys. If they created this reality based on their programming to experience emotions - their experiment is ending. I don't know why I'm so certain about this - but I am.

It's time to stop ... look ... and listen.
