Withdrawing All US Troops

When I heard the story on the news this morning, I quickly went to CNN to see if it was true. This would truly be a cause to celebrate. It is costing us so much in money and lives to keep troops out of country that as I said in my 2014 New Year's message ... bring them all home. Let's hope this is the case. We have been in Afghanistan's since 2001 - time to come home. War in Afghanistan goes back to Alexander the Great (330 BCE-327 BCE).
We're not bluffing, the Obama administration told Afghanistan on Tuesday in announcing for the first time it has started planning for the possible withdrawal of all U.S. troops by the end of the year if no security agreement is signed. Statements by the White House and Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel showed President Barack Obama's impatience with Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai's refusal to sign the agreement that would keep several thousand American troops in the country after combat operations conclude this year.
