Memorial Day Weekend

Yesterday, I spent time with local friends. Today, I'm off to be with family in NJ (as the morning fog burns off). Tomorrow, if the rain holds off, I'll be here watching the annual Memorial Day Parade with neighbors as it passes here and continues into the park for hours of entertainment. Wherever you are, I hope you're enjoying good weather and having fun.

Gregg Allman, another entertainer who influenced the world of rock, died Saturday. As with most of the other musicians who died in 2016-2017, there was a history of substance abuse which takes us to mental illness - we all know the pattern. I remember Gregg Allman when he married Cher and had a son, Elijah Blue, who at 40 is a musician following in the footsteps of his famous parents.

Last week, Hillary Clinton seemed to compare Richard Nixon to Donald Trump during her commencement address at Wellesley College. As I watched her on the news, my thoughts seem to echo the words of the news anchor ... "The last thing we need is a repeat of Clinton vs Trump from 2016. The election is over." Both candidates were flawed as people sought change without realizing we are forever programmed for destruction in physical reality. Toda,y we see the flaws and expect the realization of issues means things can be fixed, but unfortunately they can't. It's mostly about money, but goes deeper into the emotional and mental states that permeate the grids.

The summer is just ahead which takes us to climate - from physical to emotional. Trump is back home with increasing issues and questions that go to policy and conspiracy which will take a long time to resolve if ever. Remember its conspiracies that drive this reality. Trump will will discuss his first trip abroad as president saying it was tremendous and productive.

You have to admit there were some humorous moments ...from Melania slapping Trump's hand when he tried to hold hers, Trump's awkward handshake with French President Macro, and funniest of all pushing the prime minister of Montenegro aside to get to the front. Can you imagine the jokes about him after the Trumps departed.

Melania, on the other hand was at home in Europe displaying style and confidence as FLOTUS. She was a welcome distraction from her husband's shenanigans. Melania will shine again as she and their son, Barron, move to the White House next month. Donald and Melania are generations and worlds apart on all levels.
