The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel

Several family members recommended the highly acclaimed period comedy-drama Amazon Prime series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel as it relates to my Yiddish culture growing up in NYC in the 1950's-60's. It's almost like watching a Broadway musical with a trip down memory lane for me.

It's interesting and often humorous to see how people are programmed in each generation and location to experience. If you could look back at this timeline from the future there would be usual gamut of emotions tempered with observable realities and often laced with humor.

No plot would be complete without a psychic or two - both portrayed as charlatans. Psychically gifted, the women in my family did not consult with psychics.

Season 2 ends just as our lives will when the simulation Fades to Black - with a stream of ongoing consciousness experiences. Alas ... here today ... gone ...
