Las Vegas Shooting

I woke up early this morning to watch one of the four crimes shows I recorded last night. Much to my surprise the story below was airing out of Las Vegas. The deadliest mass shooting in US history was unfolding at an open-air Route 91 Harvest Festival as country music singer Jason Aldean was performing. As of this post 58 people were killed and 500+ injured as the shooter fired and automatic weapon from a hotel window above the crowd. He was Stephen Paddock, 64, from Mesquite, Nevada who was killed by police who are looking for his roommate Marilou Danley, 62. Police are looking for anyone who might have taken cells phone pics or videos that could be of help. Interestingly that is the premise behind the new TV series that I recorded last night called Wisdom of the Crowd. Tech helps as Insanity rules end times. Stay safe. More lives updates as the day unfolds.

Las Vegas shooting: Live updates   CNN - October 2, 2017

Earlier Report (sadly numbers have gone up): At least 20 people were killed and more than 100 injured in a shooting outside the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip during a music festival on Sunday night. Shots were being fired from the 32nd floor of the resort, according to police. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said one suspect has been killed; they don't believe there are any other shooters. Police said they are also seeking a woman they named as Marilou Danley, described as a companion of the suspect. ff-duty police officers are among the dead, according to LVMPD Sheriff Joe Lombardo. Their identities have not been released. Two police officers are also being treated for injuries -- one officer is in critical condition and the other has minor injuries.
