Peace

How amazing it would be if peace was to happen but that is far from reality. In Syria - the partial cease-fire was actually between the US and Russia to get food to starving people in Aleppo but that backfired as Assad's troops blocked the roads. Assad has become a central paradox of the war. He remains secure even as his country splinters and few experts see the war ending as long as he stays. They should take him out. Reality marches on ... to a final climax.
