Thursday in the City ...

Where everyone has an opinion on just about everything.

We start out again with fog so dense I can't see the bridge. It will lift by the afternoon with hot humid weather returning. :(

This takes us to allergy season. Two weeks ago, I had a few bad days when the pollen and (?) flew around the park. It's why I keep my windows closed and use air conditioning. High pollen this year is not just here but everywhere. As duality always makes a mockery of life on planet earth -- we didn't have a winter but the early spring brought pollen and other problems.

The big news around town is Tim Tebow traded to the Jets. This should be very interesting. There's so much publicity and hype ... but that's NY ... where there are mixed reactions about him coming here.

You probably know that Occupy Wall Street has started up again in the spring - too much craziness and not enough direction. I am strongly opposed to them camping out in any park, for obvious reasons.

Recently, I have read a women who runs a talent agency. She said that out of the approximate 90,000 performers who live in and around the city - generally, at any given time, only about 1,900 are working. This is as much about timing as talent.

For a second season, they are broadcasting live from the 12th floor ledge of New York University's Bobst Library where a red-tailed hawk couple is watching over two eggs.

Speaking of moms-to-be ... Thursday morning ... still no baby news from my friend Pat. Two weeks ago, I did a reading for her. Pat's daughter was due to have a baby boy last week (Pisces), but the baby clearly told me he wants to be an Aries. Will keep you posted as babies like to be born in the energies of a new or full moon.
