The new season got off to a good start as dissemination of information about an asteroid hitting Earth was finally revealed to the world. Overall it was an interesting exercise of men and women in various stages of panic, and also how to prepare for the fact that many more negative things could happen in the near future.
The responsibilities within this episode were threefold: Introducing Darius - our unconventional genius hero - into his new position as Vice President of the US, finding out who sabotaged the ark, and defeating a new enemy who wants to run the world. Remember it's just a summer series and could never happen in real life ... right?
