Science fiction opens our minds and memories to things that go beyond physical science as we understand the illusion of life today. It gives greater meaning to our dreams, unexplained experiences, and reality itself. It moves us from what we call pseudoscience into fact. Our time in the hologram is nothing more than a science-fiction adventure if one was to see it from another perspective. The Syfy Network and Christmas feature films begin as we move from the illusion of one year into the illusion of the next ... May the Force be with you ...

Star Wars: The Force Awakens debuted in Hollywood Monday night to be released publicly on Friday. Most people I know love Star Wars, but I have never been a fan. I watched the first film - didn't connect and never went back. Monday night's premier in Hollywood met with great success. Congratulations to all.

I watched Part 1 of the Syfy three-night miniseries "Childhood's End". It borrows from the concept that aliens will one way come here to solve Earth's issues. It's never gonna happen. Monday night opened with an incoming alien invasion, reminiscent of the 1997 film "Independence Day". Our hero is Ricky Stormgren played by actor Mike Vogel who spends his summers dealing with aliens as the hero of "Under the Dome". Ricky is married to a woman named Ellie. (smile) His deceased first wife, who we see as projected illusion created by the aliens, is played by Georgina Haig, who played Henrietta "Etta" Bishop - Peter and Olivia's daughter on "Fringe". As Earthlings, we must always reason that aliens have power and personal agendas that are not always in our best interests. Wait ... that sounds a lot like our politicians. As Part 1 concludes ... time has moved from 2016 to 2031 the year the main alien Karellen (Charles Dance) reveals his identity. Knowing aliens as I do, his appearance looked like a cross between a gargoyle, the devil, a reptilian, and a few other negative mythological creatures. This may seem totally strange to you ... but I feel a connection - must be a Reptilian thing.
