And the winners are ...

Politics -- I started the day watching the news, curious to see who won the debate last night. It would seem that Biden won though some feel there was no clear winner.

Five things we learned from Thursday's vice presidential debate   CNN - October 12, 2012

Did you hear Paul Ryan say he is in favor of:

privatizing social security (gulp ... those are my peers who have worked hard for decades),

    making abortion criminal (no .. no .. no ... barbaric .... ) ,

Afghanistan - sticking to the 2014 deadline but thinking it's a bad idea,

Yesterday, I shared my dream (nightmare) of Romney winning the election with a client named Beth (age 48) in Florida. Apparently, she had the same dream as have others. Remember the grids are changing so the soul can more easily travel and retain information now. If this program wasn't ending soon - I can't imagine the repercussions of what Romney-Ryan would mean.

-

Sports -- What an amazing payoff game last night as the Baltimore Orioles beat the NY Yankees in the 13th inning - the game lasting past mid-night, so I can assume my grandsons didn't stay up to watch it on a school night. All of my grandson are into sports with Michael and his brother Dylan champs at baseball in their age groups. Over in AZ. my granddaughter Joie has become a cheerleader. In the big-boy leagues .... it all comes down to Game 5 today in major league baseball and of course I'm routing for the home team. Let the game begin at 5pm EDT.

Entertainment -- Clearly the winner last night was former Brooklynite Barbra Streisand -- performing at the Barclays Center here Brooklyn. Yeah Brooklyn!! This was Barbra's first-ever performance in Brooklyn, though she has performed many times in the city. I remember her on Broadway back in the days when I saw all the shows and a great seat cost $10.

The "pre-Glee years" : Barbra is special to me because we went to local High Schools - were in the same grade (though 9 months apart I was the youngest and Barbara the oldest as the cut-off date back then was May 30th), we knew some of the same people in Flatbush, share similar memories of growing up in Brooklyn in the 50's and 60's, and more. Hey Barbra ... we are not old yet! You go girl! Great performance as always.

Nobel Winners -- Not sure this is the best choice, but then again I remember Obama winning the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009 which was a major surprise to many.

The winners are ... Mired in Crisis, E.U. Wins Nobel Peace Prize   New York Times - October 12, 2012
The Norwegian Nobel Committee awarded its 2012 peace prize on Friday to the 27-nation European Union, lauding its role over six decades in building peace and reconciliation among enemies who fought Europeƕs bloodiest wars, even as the continent wrestles with economic strife that threatens its cohesion and future.

Edward Alexander Crowley was an English occultist, writer, mountaineer, poet, yogi, and possible spy. He was an influential member of occult organizations, including the Golden Dawn, the Ordo Templi Orientis (O.T.O.), and is known today for his magical writings, especially The Book of the Law, the central sacred text of Thelema. He gained notoriety during his lifetime, and was denounced in the popular press of the day as "The wickedest man in the world."

Paganism is wholesome

because it faces the facts of life.

Aleister Crowley takes me back to meetings in the early 1990's with Preston Nicholas (Philadelphia Experiment) who felt a past connection with Crowley and all that time travel stuff linked to WWII and the Nazi Program which also calls to me. Preston and I still keep in touch from time to time... There has always been something about Helena Blavatsky and Crowley that speaks of the mentally ill, though they did their part to awaken consciousness in their timelines. They saw life as it was then and spoke about it. She was wrong about Ascended Masters - it's all just a grid plug-in.
