On Christmas Eve, a friend from Philly, told me about seeing Barbra in concert with her son Jason Gould on 10/8/12.

Barbra and I have similar backgrounds - Brooklyn, Jewish, neighboring High Schools ... but she could always sing ... better than anyone.

Following that performance Brooklyn welcomed Barbra home at Barclay's Center on 10/11/12.
