Flying Free

A sparrow just landed on the terrace railing outside stopping to look at me while holding something used to build a nest in his or her beak. Once again the sparrow and I agreed to be neighbors ... the protection of spirits that lurk in and around my apartment the deal-breaker. This is the closest to having a pet that I'm going to get. Though I would love a German Shepherd - I just don't have the time nor space to properly care for it. Nesting refers to an instinct or urge in pregnant animals to prepare a home for the upcoming newborns. It is found in a variety of animals (both mammals and birds) including humans.

The unique palm print above belongs to a client named Nicole, from New Jersey, who came to see me Sunday. Either the same sparrow, or another, landed on the railing with something in its mouth, during her reading. As we looked at her palm print there was our sparrow (in white) in a box (in black) sitting on an egg (in white) along with many other shapes, letters, numbers, and symbols that took on meaning for both of us. To me it's a metaphor for humanity "trapped in a box" about to fly free.

Your Emotional Barometer

As you sit there reading this ... focus on your emotions. What are you feeling right here ... right now? Be honest with your self. Emotions, like auras and chakras, shift from moment to moment, anything triggering a reaction. You may be feeling afraid or uncertain now which later in the day could give way to totally different emotions. Do you suppose our little sparrow friend feels the same sudden surges of emotions. I think so.

A new week ... new energies. What will this week's algorithm bring to politics, media, the economy, your life, and more? Everyone's talking politics with the New York primaries just ahead. I would've gone to see Bernie Sanders yesterday at Nathan's in Coney Island - but this is a busy time of the year filled with clients - so I did another pass. People are not voting for a candidate but for the destruction of that which does not serve humanity.
