Chopra & Chakra

One of my favorite clients owns a company that has created a video game featuring Deepak Chopra an Indian medical doctor, public speaker, and writer on subjects such as spirituality, Ayurveda and mind-body medicine. The game is all about Chakras - one of the more popular topics on Crystalinks as people seek balance. My client found me after he went on a vision quest where he asked, "What is reality?" He heard, "It is a hologram". After returning home he googled "reality as a hologram" and Crystalinks popped up first that day ... 4 years ago.

Deepak Chopra - controversial spiritualist, alternative-medicine guru and self-help author - is getting in on the video game action too. Chopra has joined forces (both metaphysical and real) with THQ to create the game "Leela" - which means "play" in Sanskrit and is due to launch Nov. 8 on the Xbox 360 and Wii. The game will use the Xbox 360 Kinect motion sensor or, in its Wii version, will have players hold a Wii Remote controller as it guides players through meditation exercises. According to the Associated Press, which got an advance look at "Leela," it is "less of a game and more of an experience."

The Apollo 11 mission was the first manned mission to land on the Moon. It was the fifth human spaceflight of Project Apollo and the third human voyage to the Moon. It was also the second all-veteran crew in manned spaceflight history. Launched on July 16, 1969, it carried Mission Commander Neil Alden Armstrong, Command Module Pilot Michael Collins and Lunar Module Pilot Edwin Eugene 'Buzz' Aldrin, Jr. On July 21 (0256 GMT), Armstrong and Aldrin became the first humans to land on the Moon, while Collins orbited above. The mission fulfilled President John F. Kennedy's goal of reaching the moon by the end of the 1960s.

"Better if he had said something natural like, 'Jesus, here we are.'"

Sir Edmund Hillary, Commenting on Neil Armstrong's 1969 message from the moon,

"That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."

I think we're going to the moon because it's in the nature of the human being to face challenges.

It's by the nature of his deep inner soul... we're required to do these things just as salmon swim upstream.

Mystery creates wonder and wonder is the basis of man's desire to understand.

Science has not yet mastered prophecy. We predict too much for the next year and yet far too little for the next 10.

It suddenly struck me that that tiny pea, pretty and blue, was the Earth.

I didn't feel like a giant. I felt very, very small.

It's a brilliant surface in that sunlight.

The horizon seems quite close to you because the curvature is so much more

pronounced than here on earth. It's an interesting place to be. I recommend it.
