Children of the New Moon

May 28, 2014 - New Moon 7° Gemini - 2:40 PM EDT

Above and Below - Gemini Duality

Connor and Joie, 11, finish 5th grade

We generally relate to New Moon energies from an adult perspective. But children are also going through changes, particularly at this time, with the school year ending and thoughts ranging from summer fun to travel and more. Many children take classes or go away to summer camps that will forever change their destinies. Theme camps can range from sports to creativity, to science and more. Imaginations grow as their futures are set in motion ... their DNA codes unfolding like a flower in a time-lapse sequence as all of reality is accelerating.

My granddaughter Joie and her friend Connor are both gifted students. Joey will spend the summer in cheerleading day camp. I'm not sure what Connor's plans are though they have been spending a lot of time together. It's one of those innocent little romances that start in childhood with puberty just ahead.

When the moon is new - the Sun and Moon are aligned in the same sign - which this month is Gemini and all that goes with its energies. A New Moon is a symbolic point of attention, and a portal for new beginnings that could come full circle in six months - December 6, 2014 - Full Moon 14° Gemini.

Gemini is ruled by Mercury -- the God of transportation and communication. If you believe in the influences of Mercury Retrograde ... it all begins June 7 to July 1, 2014.
