Happy Mother's Day
It's the icing on the cake ...
With all the craziness in the world, I hope you're planning a peaceful day with family or friends. As always, I'll be with my children and grandchildren. Enjoy your day ... whatever you doing.
Nothing brings up issues more than the relationship between mothers and children, but you know that. It's more about love and giving than the title "mom". I'm not going to write a blog about how you should forgive your mother who was programmed for her life's story. We all know how the game of emotions is played. If you're lucky, your mom was a positive force in your life and still is. If not ... hopefully your programming allows you to move past issues successfully.
Last week was a Mother's Day duality for me. One friend's daughter became a mom for the first time - a little girl - congrats Christina. Another friend told me her mom has terminal brain cancer.
There are many new moms out there this year including Princess Kate across the pond. Around the world, thousands of women will take part in a Mother's Day run to raise money for breast cancer research. As women live longer, some celebrations will include 4 generations of women. And the list goes on.
