My first stop every morning is the Astronomy Picture of the Day - today featuring a "Sun Rose" in one of my favorite colors as if a birthday present. My birthday plans have all been rescheduled as more snow takes center stage, the sounds of sanitation workers cleaning the streets, echoing below. It will take months for the pothole crews to repair the damage. But enough about the weather. I woke up this morning grateful for all that I have in this mad-cap world that is cycling down.
