There are many updated files this week ... new blogs archived ... see lists above.
The weather is in focus across the nation once again. It's 15° in Brooklyn this morning as my plants that usually rest on the window sill remain on the kitchen table. Locally the Metro-North Railroad Valhalla Train-Car Crash dominates the news as the investigation continues, funerals are held, and commuters are interviewed.
On a business note ... does anybody believe the economy is recovering? People are taking part time jobs which gives the illusion that unemployment is decreasing. On some level the part time job may be all they can handle, but not a true reflection of the job market. The money is not enough and the jobs don't last. Home owners are taking in boarders to pay their mortgages, as people find ways to deal with reality. Companies hire younger workers who take less money. Workers are simply burning out. There is frustration, anger, and the return to co-dependency. The bottom line ... most people simple don't have it in them to work unless the job is creative and meaningful as the dynamic of reality shifts into its final stages ... and like the computer train or plane in Taipei ... may one day crash.
