Happy Birthday Joel and many more
Wednesday December 28, 2016 ... Joel is my son-in-law Jon's father who turned 73 today as the family celebrated. Two years ago on this date, Joel lost his daughter, Paige, to cancer on her 40th birthday. One year before that, he lost his wife, Sheila. On this day, Sheila and Paige came to me with messages for Joel. Was the message on the TV screen also from Sheila and Paige? Actually, life is very much scripted as you know, and sometimes you accidentally capture a message from a deceased loved one who brings hope.

Carrie Fisher's death came as no surprise to me for two reasons. After her heart attack on the plane, one of the departing passengers told the news that she wasn't breathing for about 10 minutes. Second - again we address mental illness and substance abuse. Life is a struggle and eventually the body and soul expire taking away the pain. Good-bye Princess Leia. Your journeys were never easy.
