Monday Quickies
Another snowstorm has arrived in the city, this one having heavy rainy-type snow, that can do great damage to power lines and more. It's definitely "sickness weather". Be careful - stay warm and dry.
If I'm not mistaken, yesterday, on Groundhog Day, Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow. This is another urban legend that follows the natural patterns and predictions of the weatherman.
If you check the earthquake map, you'll notice that Greece has not stopped rocking and rolling. Sunday, they had a 6.2 and a 6.1 today.
Heroin
Heroin use is apparently on the increase. Sunday, Academy Award winning actor Philip Seymour Hoffman, 46, died in his home here in the city, from an overdose of heroin. In its front-page obituary, The New York Times referred to Hoffman as "perhaps the most ambitious and widely admired American actor of his generation."

Super Bowl 2014
Did you watch the game? After a long week reading many clients who are making changes and decision in their lives - it was time for a break ... so I walked down the hall to watch the game with neighbors. I left after halftime, went home, and fell asleep.
The Halftime Show
A woman actually quit her job on one commercial - to pursue her dreams by starting her own business. She announced to her boss Ted - "I Quit!". After 18 years as an engineer, she is now into puppetry. Starting your own business is all about luck and timing. I always advise people to have some sort of income until their new business can support them.
