Gold medalist Maddie Bowman of the United States (funny)
The Winter Olympics are coming to a close - usually the best time to cheer your country on if they are competing. As of this morning, team USA is out in front. Closing ceremonies will also be spectacular on Sunday ... next Sunday (March 2) highlighted by the 86th Academy Awards hosted by Ellen. I've seen enough of Vladimir Putin for this lifetime.
You may have watched most, or some, of the Olympic events. I watched the highlights in the news followed by interviews with gold medal winners. What I basically observed were a lot of young attractive athletes competing for the gold, but more than that, the fame and glory that follows. At some point it was almost like watching a staged reality show. All of the athletes have worked hard to reach this pinnacle of success for which they have been programmed.

Saturday
On a personal note, the sun is shining in Brooklyn with temperatures in the 50s (smile). Friends are coming from upstate New York to spend the day - another birthday celebration. With winter returning in a few days this is a perfect break. Snowstorms in March are always followed by warming trends so the worst is almost over as February and Mercury retrograde come to an end in one week.
This week's blogs have all been archived (see above) with the exception of Brian Greene for those who are interested in taking his free online course.
Have a great weekend.
