Quake centered in northern Virginia felt along East Coast CNN - August 23, 2011
An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 made buildings and residents tremble from the Carolinas to New England Tuesday afternoon. No major injuries were immediately reported from the quake, which closed monuments and parks in the nation's capital and sent shock waves up and down the East Coast.
ALERT - At 1:50 PM, my apartment building started to shake, but there was no damage, just a clock that sits on a shelf next to my computer (metaphor) feel off its stand.
The earthquake was centered in northern Virginia not far from Washington DC. ... another metaphor.
When the shaking stopped, I went to talk to Sal, the building's Super, but found a note posted by the elevators that he left today for vacation. I thought about going downstairs to the street but didn't want to get stuck in the elevator should there be an aftershock - and most 5.8 earthquakes have aftershocks.
Back in my apartment, my phone rang off the hook with calls from friends and family who felt the quake here in the city. There were texts and emails as people compared notes to get a better picture of what was going on. Looking outside, people everywhere were in the street talking - reminding me of 9/11.
We live on the Ramapo Fault Line therefore we have to watch the nuclear power plants.
As you know ... Virgo Transition started today along with the energies of 2012. The North American plate is broken, as are all the plates around the world. It's showtime. Remember ... these are just the precursors.

From 3-4:00 p.m. I read a client named Katy who currently lives in Shanghai. Yes .. she stayed up late for the reading. At the end of her reading I saw a graceful dragonfly with cellophane wings that became a dragonfly as part of a stainless window - in shade of blues, purples and greens. After the reading, Katy looked up dragonflies on Crystalinks and email'd this.
- "The Maya considered the dragonfly to be one of the symbols of Kukulcan also known as Quetzalcoatl whose spirit is said to be connected with the fulfillment of the Mayan Calendar -- December 21, 2012." As you know Z is Q or Quetzalcoatl.
