Martin Luther King
Birthday Weekend

This is a long busy weekend which will bring many clients here over the next three days. Luckily, the weather is good - no snow. Then there's football as we move to "Super Bowl 50" next month. As with many holiday weekends, some people will take a short vacation, some will search out holiday bargains, while others will just relax and catch up on things they never have time for.

Hillary and Bernie will face off Sunday night in the next Democratic presidential debate. It will be interesting to see how things go as the race to the Iowa caucuses is just around the corner. All in all in the political arena, establishment candidates are falling by the wayside because they really can't fix the issues. Voters are willing to take a chance on someone like Donald Trump rather than have another rerun of past presidencies that have isolated us as a nation and make us look ridiculous to the world.

With Valentine's Day less than one month away, the quest to find a partner, lover, or whatever one is looking for, grows stronger. Though we are more practical in our expectations, there is some sort of inborn need within most of us to find someone to share life with. Many have concluded that they will never meet that person, and yet is always that lingering thought that someone one day will show up.
