The Cold War

John Quinn

Remember the Cold War - emphasis on US and Russia? Things seem to be heating up between these two countries again. Many of the other law-enforcement shows I watch, speak about nuclear weapons hidden by the Russians on US soil going back to that timeline, that have yet to be uncovered.

Currently, in its second season, we find the TV series The Americans on FX, set in the 1980s during the Cold War. The Americans is the story of Elizabeth (Keri Russell) and Philip Jennings (Matthew Rhys), two Soviet KGB officers posing as an American married couple living in the Northern Virginia suburbs of Washington, D.C. with their unsuspecting children (Holly Taylor and Keidrich Sellati), and their neighbor, Stan Beeman (Noah Emmerich), an FBI Counter-Intelligence agent.

I'm not sure why this theme is being reactivated, but it is. I have two friends who work on the TV show. One is a back actor (extra) named John Quinn who will be on tonight. The other is Clell Tickle (real name) who has a recurring role as an FBI agent, seen last week, but not sure about tonight.

Stay tuned to see how all of this plays out and which one is truth or fiction.
