Watching


Today, millions will be watching - and affected by Hurricane Matthew. The storm's counter-clockwise motion creates the strongest effects east of the eye. Best to be prepared if you are in its path. Even a power outage can cause chaos.


Then, there's the VP debate tonight for those interested. Once again ... watch Stephen Colbert who is live after the debate. My DVR is set. Will anything they say affect your decision on who to vote for next month?

The 2016 Nobel Prize in Physics has been awarded to three British-born scientists for discoveries about strange forms of matter.

Medicine Nobel for cell recycling work   BBC - October 3, 2016
The 2016 Nobel Prize in physiology or medicine goes to Yoshinori Ohsumi of Japan for discoveries about the secrets of how cells can remain healthy by recycling waste.
