Robotics, and Humans
Like humans, A.I.s and Robots perform based on their programming.
Friday August 7, 2015 - "Ancient Aliens" featured an episode called "Aliens and Robots" (image above) suggesting the technology goes back millennia - perhaps linked to ancient aliens. It's interesting that the image has an Egyptian theme as I blogged about Egypt below. Back to Ancient Aliens ... Remember the episode about Leonardo Da Vinci and his robotic dog? I don't think his achievements had anything to do with aliens. He just tapped into the grids as per his programming.

"Aliens and Robots": Incredible strength ... Superior intelligence ... And even the ability to reproduce. In the 21st century, robots are being programmed to do everything from performing surgery on humans to exploring other planets. And humanoid robots are rapidly reaching a level of sophistication that was thought to exist only in science fiction. But what are the implications of creating robots that are increasingly intelligent and independent? Is the obsession with creating counterfeit humans really pointing the way to mankind's future ... or to its past? Greek stories dating to 2000 B.C. tell of the god Hephaestus creating robots to build weapons, as well as the bronze giant Talos. In Egypt, the Pyramid Texts say that the god Osiris was dismembered, then reassembled and brought back to life, just like a machine. If sophisticated robots really did exist in the ancient world-what function did they serve? Who built them? And what happened to them? Watch the Episode
More and more, we learn about advances in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence. How does that make you feel? What is your take on humans and aliens co-existing? In this reality/duality there are pros and cons. Science-fiction has taught us about some of the amazing things artificial intelligence can do, but we've also seen the dark sides. Current shows featuring A.I.s are Extant and Dark Matter.
