2016 Democratic National Convention Day 4

One more night of this folks as Chelsea Clinton introduces her mom Hillary tonight. Hill will have an opportunity to end the lingering divisions in the party in her address, but as we know with the Republicans, there are too many scandals and lies that most people see through. As with Trump's excepted speech, she will not anything definitive about her plans to help the country? How can any candidate do that in a rapidly changing world. Tonight they'll be more (justified) Trump bashing and promises that will never come to fruition ... but that's the game. Can we survive 3 1/2 more months of this?

In 2008 I thought that Barack Obama would make a difference, and perhaps in some regards, after eight years, he has. And yet you cannot fight the inevitability of what was to happen continues with the greater finish. Many people have said Michelle Obama would make a great president, but there are too many obstacles. It's not about race or gender. It's about a bipolar hologram with the aspects of duality grow stronger every day. Whoever gets elected, I wish them good luck because they're going to need it.

In closing ... I want to thank Stephen Colbert for his nightly live reports, making this chapter in US history more meaningful and palatable, while showing us we can laugh in the face of diversity and anything the hologram throws at us.
